The line went quickly and the staff was helpful in explaining the different frozen coffees. We had a raspberry chai tea and the frozen Railer. We resisted the baked goods, but we know how delicious they are from past experience. The cutaway brick map is a cool, creative wall, and the mirrors make the narrow room feel bigger. read more

Norm's is big on community in Newton. The co-owner, Ashley, can be found behind the coffee bar helping employees, sitting at tables with guests, bringing out waffles from the back, or even saying a quick hello to a new-comer. Every Saturday we go for the waffles--which are bomb!! read more

We're back!!! And it's just as good as I remember! I LOVE their drink specials today I got the honey mocha w/toasted cold foam and it's to die for. I've been wanting to try this place since we moved into town and so glad we got to try it today. I was later in the evening so we didn't try and food items, but they helped out a lot trying to figure out what we should get. The staff is so friendly! I love how they had local items that you could potentially purchase and I adore the little book area with games and activities for the little ones. We have so many memories at Norms. Our favorite hometown coffee bar, and if you haven't had their caramel macchiato I highly suggest you give it a try. WOW! i went with my family on christmas eve. My drink was SCRUMP to the UMPTOUS (i got a white mocha)! On the contrary, my cousins drink tasted like straight up water! SO, we all were trying it and were not too pleased. And what occured whilst we were sampling the coffee water was some slightly disappointed facial expressions. We were heavily contemplating marching up to ask for a new one...BUT we were so terribly scared! LOVE this place! It's such a cute setup and a fun vibe! The staff are so nice and the drinks are wonderful! Add in a breakfast burrito for energy, or a pastry for a treat. They have new drink ideas all the time, and a cozy spot to hang out with friends or kids. There is a table in the back for a group meetup too. It can get loud during busy times, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's nice to have the local community represented in this spot as well with the art/T-shirts/etc. they display for sale in the large glass cabinets. Ok. So. This is not my type of place. I don't typically buy over priced fu fu coffee. But, I'll give the same type review for this place as I would any other place. I drank something that was ordered for me, I have no idea what it is named. It was tasty and would drink it again if someone bought it for me. (I would not spend my own money on it.) This is my go-to coffee shop in town. I'll usually walk over in the mornings when it is warm. The coffee is excellent, as is the food. The new waffles are a welcome addition to the already yummy food options. The atmosphere is cozy, with places to chill on a couch and chat and tables to plug on and get some work done. This place is great. Prices very reasonable and drinks are great. For me what really puts it over the top is the atmosphere. Great coffee, however, the place has become more of a daycare center rather than a coffee shop. The hours are horrible needs to stay open at least until 9 pm. Has potential but without longer hours, I don't see this place being much more than a daycare center. read more
