My neighbors have been quiet and people generally keep to themselves. No crazy drama going on outside either. The buildings are well maintained. They plow snow, cut the grass...etc etc...If you have a problem in the apartment, let them know and they will send someone out the next business day. (they have people available for emergencies of course..) It isn't the most fancy place you can find, but I think they are decent enough. They have pay laundry rooms in each building, a bit of room for storage in the basement areas. (Figure about another 20 dollars per month for this..) Heat / hot water is included in the price of rent, this is a good value. You pay for electric. (60-100 a month in my experience...) Traffic in and around the area isn't too bad, but you should learn some back roads during the Christmas time! Mall traffic is crazy on 202. Well worth checking out!

It's located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, and it feels rather safe as well. Maintenance is usually quick and easy - all I need to do is to write an email about the issue and couple of days later I come home to find the issue resolved. It's got secured building entrance, but package delivery is right to my door. Staffs are really nice although I don't really find the need to talk to them much. There are more than enough parking spots for both the tenants and guests. The lovely little pool could be an addition, if I loved water (and I don't). Another perk is free heating, not sure if that's standard in the area but there's big savings during Pennsylvania winters. As for downsides, there really isn't anything major to complain about, considering the price. Shared laundry, spotty wireless signal (I'm AT&T), monopoly of Xfinity internet, plain design and decoration, and that's about it. The storage might be a bit tight but for a guy it has been quite enough. So overall, it's totally worth the price. And they allow cats!

The keypads on the exterior doors are also unreliable, and on multiple occasions, I or other residents have been locked out of the building due to malfunctioning systems. Management is difficult to get in touch with, and communication is inconsistent at best. One of the most frustrating aspects of living here has been the lack of transparency around fees, especially during lease renewals. Charges are not always clearly broken down in the resident portal, and trying to get clarification often leads to unhelpful or dismissive responses. There are definitely better-managed and more reliable options in the area.

Our concerns are not about being denied, we understand that every property has its own screening criteria, but about how the application process was handled. After submitting our application, we spent over two weeks repeatedly calling and emailing the leasing office for updates. We were told multiple times that no one knew why our application had been denied, leaving us in limbo while trying to secure housing. It was only after numerous follow-ups that we finally received an explanation. I want to recognize Christyna, who was polite, respectful, and professional throughout our interactions. She always treated us courteously, even during a frustrating situation. However, our experience with Marquetia was very different. When we raised concerns about the lack of communication, we received an email that was defensive and dismissive instead of addressing the issues we had experienced. Rather than acknowledging our concerns, the response included statements such as, "our office and its employees should not be held accountable for the poor planning on anyone else's behalf," claimed there was "a lack of communication amongst the applicants regarding personal finances," and ended with "I will not be addressing any further communications." We found those comments to be inappropriate and inconsistent with the level of professionalism we expected after simply raising concerns about our experience. Communication, transparency, and professionalism are essential during an apartment application process, especially when applicants are making time-sensitive housing decisions.

There are several long term residents in the building so it does feel like a community living here and the building is very quiet. The building was built back in the 1960's so it is well constructed and has great soundproofing. The grounds are well maintained and the community is convenient to the Blue Route and Penna Turnpike. The building recently added a fitness room which has some good equipment in it and is almost never used.

Often times they say that they have already completed your request for maintenance and they have not. The front office does not answer your calls. You have questions in regards to your bill and no one returns your phone call. The lack of communication and professionalism at this place is horrible. At this point. I will continue my lease until it is up, but renewing will not be an option. They have now added on additional fees that were never added on before. We pay for water and sewage and trash and other additions like insurance and property fees that were not originally a part of the leasing agreement. Last, but not least, we lose water often, trash shoots are shut down, and security is a joke. You can get into the doors without any key or fob.

But when I have lived in for 6 months, I gradually found out lots of issue in this apartment. 1. It's very close to the train rail so you will hear the train whistle very loud and clear every night. 2. There is a washer and dryer in unit but it works extremely noisy and loud. The washer and dryer are combined together, and it's size is too small, I couldn't wash too much cloth at one time. 3. The gym room downstair is small, only few basic equipments are there, the gym room even don't have hand sanitizer or any wiping there, no water, no paper towels. 4. The Swimming pool is not for swim, it's for bath, the highest point is only 3 1/2 inches, so it's not for sporting purpose, which is disappointing. However, the good thing here is, 1. Very secure here. Everyone needs a key to get in the apartment building, even from parking lot. 2. Close to shopping mall and all supermarket. Btw, there is two months rent penalty if you end the contract in advance. In conclusion, I'll give 3 stars to Nexus. But base on train whistle and washer and dryer, I won't recommend to others.
