    I have been wearing a variety of "top of the line" hearing aids for over 30 years, due to a…read moreprofound hearing loss, which is genetic nerve deafness that can't be fixed. I was never happy with their audiologists' limited hours, with maybe one evening a week. And the pricey units failed within 3 - 4 years, no matter how much I paid for them - and I did pay a lot $$$, as I had a very demanding job. Ten years ago, I decided to give Zounds a try, because of their design innovations, low cost, and great online reviews. I also wanted rechargeable, as I was fed up with the little batteries failing unexpectedly. At the King of Prussia Mall, I met audiologist Dan Libby, and he assured me he was at this retail location for the long-term, and had daytime, weekend, and evening hours. (I have even popped in on occasion without an appointment, due to needing a quick fix.) Since then, I have been thrilled with Zounds' quality and service. Even when I have to turn up the volume at times, they are crisp and clear. THEY MAKE ME FORGET I'M DEAF!!

The warranty had not expired yet…read more The sales person said that in order for them to claim the warranty I had to promise them as a regular customer which I refused. They therefore charged me for the full price (which was very high), faked on programming it on the phone when it was already programmed, then I found out it was not necessary. I question if they thereafter filed for warrenty as they had all of my personal information. Recently I had to replace another aid it came under warranty at no COST! Beware of stores who take advantage of senior citizens.
