A one way street which many seem to not realize. It has a private parking area and street parking. The north side has the tennis courts and a children's playground. It is also a dog park and many people take their dogs here. There are a LOT of mature trees and some benches. I don't see trash cans, so not sure who maintains the park. In the summer time the trees provide a lot of nice shade to have a picnic. I frequently see games of tag football, regular football, frisbee and fetch with the furry companions. I have enjoyed many lunches and even some dinners here watching the sunset behind the Rockies. I take my trash with me to dispose of at home or elsewhere that has a trash can. I have seen many people pick up after their pets, which I think is fabulous. Make sure you bring bags to do this too! I am not sure if any are provided for at the park. I haven't seen any. Overall a wonderful green and clean park!

The basketball court seemed in better shape. It's not a huge park--it's long and narrow--but it has a unique charm and was perfect for a low-key afternoon with the family. We brought lunch, grabbed a shaded table under a mushroom, and just soaked it all in. Definitely a great little stop for families or anyone needing a quick nature break in the middle of town.

I wonder why the rating for this park is not that high (barely 3.5 stars) even though it's a clean, spacious park with trails that are quite extensive. It's also a walking distance from two major shopping centers (Tamarac Square and Tiffany Plaza.) People who work in the nearby offices can walk over here and burn some calories from lunch if they choose to. And I'm pretty sure people who live in the neighborhood can appreciate this place so much especially if they have dogs to walk. I'm going to make it a habit to come here more often from now on. I think this will be a great place for a quick morning jog. Hence, I must give it a 4-star review.

This is a new park that runs down the middle of the Beeler neighborhood. Its amenities include a…read morestream-like waterway, community tables, and shaded gathering spots located on Beeler Street. I visited during the winter, so the stream was drained. The Plaza is operated by the Stapleton Master Community Association. This Plaza is not reservable; it is first come, first serve. It feeds into the Beeler Street Parkway, which is a long green space with a trail that runs through it. It is hard to differentiate between where the Plaza ends and the Parkway begins, but that is no big deal. It is all nice anyway. The plaza was established in 2018 and is a hip and trendy spot. I really like the seating they have set up on the plaza they have chaise lounges and picnic tables. They also have a couple of grills to use as well. Because it is located in a neighborhood and primarily meant for residents, there is no designated parking. You can just park on the street in neighborhood and head over. Outside of being a local resident, I do not see this is a destination spot. It is a very nice park and I loved lounging here. If you do venture here, you will not be disappointed.

Four baseball fields anchor the sports side of things, and a sprawling open field beyond them gives you real room to breathe: kite flying, pickup soccer, or just wandering with no destination in mind. Even on a gray, overcast day, the green holds its color and the whole place feels alive. The space-themed playground is the centerpiece for younger visitors -- and honestly, for older kids too. It's genuinely fun, not just functional, with multiple play structures, accessible rubber surfacing underfoot, and swing options for toddlers and bigger kids alike. Scattered throughout the park are standing rocks engraved with planets and space facts -- a nice touch that adds a little wonder to a walk. Some of them are showing their age from years of Colorado weather, but the idea behind them is solid and still sparks curiosity. Three covered gazebos with charcoal grills are spread across the park, making spontaneous cookouts easy. The paved walking and biking path loops the entire perimeter -- roughly a mile -- and connects to Aurora's broader trail network. Tollgate Creek runs along the western edge, adding a quiet, natural buffer to what is otherwise an active, well-used park. Parking is ample, and the grounds stay well-maintained. Best for families with kids of all ages, regular walkers and cyclists, and anyone who wants a full afternoon outside without driving far. It's the kind of place that becomes a weekly habit without you really planning for it to. Mission Viejo Park is free, open daily 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., and located at 3999 S. Mission Parkway, Aurora. If you haven't made it over yet, it's worth the trip -- rain or shine.

It has great playground equipment with this foam like rubbery floor stuff under it to help cushion any severe falls. 2 different types of swings, those for little kids that are like a butt harness and those that are for bigger kids and even adults to swing on. The park has some great sheltered areas that include a table and some bbq's. In the spring, summer and fall is nearly always full of people playing football, soccer and baseball. It's got a long paved walking trail that goes around the entire park. This trail is about a mile all the way around the last time I walked it. I will have to walk it again and update this post. Not like I don't walk it all the time, I just forget how long it is:) Ample parking as well. Great place to get out and get some sun if you're in the area.
