She doesn't do anything about other people getting into your business what is going on in or who you have over or what is in your vehicle but if u complain about anyone else she just tells you to mind your own business. She thinks it is right for her or the maintenance guy to just walk in to your apartment whenever they damn well please but excuse me you might own the property but we r the ones that pay the rent for the units so stay the hell out of our personal life. They act all nice but when u have your back turned they are back stabbing no good lying nosy worthless people that I think never even got pass kindergarten. She can't even get off her lazy ass and walk around the complex to see if anything or for that matter anyone has a problem in their units or if anything is going on that shouldn't be. They make up these stupid rules and regulations that they want everyone to abide by but we the people that live on the property say HELL NO WE WONT GO. Feels like we went back to 1861 to the civil war era and we the people that live here are slaves for the landlord when SLAVERY HAS AND IS ABOLISHED. let's go back to the units themselves shall we, the carpet is not really clean like they say it is. We have a steam cleaner and the water is always BLACK. The cabinets are suppose to be white but they came out being dirty and darker than the night sky. Our current manager encourages neighbor to spy on neighbor and feed her information. I don't know why because she only yells and complains but never acts on any information she gets, even police reports. There is a tenant living here who's young teen and pre-teen boys have shot bb guns at other tenants and their children, staggered out of their apartment drunk and smoking, and took the father's car for a 45mph joy ride through the parking lot while other kids were out playing. This tenant still lives here!?!? The drug dealer finally moved out, but only of his own accord and I have a junkie for a neighbor who has stolen prescription medications out of other's apartments. If I had the means, I would already be out of here! This manager doesn't deserve all the blame, Oakbrook Corp doesn't care about any of this as long as they're collecting rent! I know because I've lodged several complaints with corporate and they continue to do nothing!

I'd give ZERO stars if I could…read more I lived in an apartment owned by David Viaene in 2015 until someone else purchased the property (not that he told anyone) I only have bad things to say about this guy. He's the definition of a slumlord. When we first moved to an apartment in Neenah, it was January 1st 2015. Anyone who lives in Wisconsin knows that winters here are cold. Well somehow we only were getting half of the voltage to the apartment that we were supposed to be getting. Which meant the heat didn't work. We actually had to stay at a hotel the one night because it was so cold. We were using space heaters and the thermostat on the space heater said 32° We clearly told him as soon as we realized what was going on. We were told his ONE maintenance guy would be coming over that same night. He literally never showed. We didn't get a call, we got nothing. If I remember correctly, he came the next day at some point. Here's some other top hits of things wrong with his properties: * when we moved in, the oven wasn't even in the property. It was delivered to our door step. Just an oven. Sitting outside in January, in Wisconsin. We had to bring in our own oven and install it. *the carpet was so poorly installed that when we moved furniture (like the couch) the carpet was literally moved as well. *there was clauk on our floor and our bathroom sink in just random places for no reason. Like they accidentally got some on the kitchen floor and then just left it. *the cabinets brand new when we moved in and there was clauk all over the inside of the cabinet. It looked like a monkey could have done better. *our back door needed a different key than our front door, but we were never given a key. So we couldn't even use it to get back into the property unless we left it unlocked. *our parking lot was basically made of cement and gravel and was super uneven. Huge divots. *our gutters were so bad that when it would rain a lot, the gutters would just pour water out right in front of our door in multiple places. *the apartment was so poorly sealed and insulated that energy bills in winter would be $200 Overall he was seriously the worst landlord I've ever had.

This company took over my rental property last year and they were snappy with me from the…read morebeginning, I am a person who likes to be as polite as possible and rather then be open and upfront about charges they snapped that I should have read the lease better. The utility charges are inaccessible and for all I know they could be making up a number as it was different for all of us in the building and its supposed to be split. upon move out I got charged almost triple what I had been previously charged for utilities for the common area and even though we spent 5 hours cleaning and shampooing carpets they still charged us almost 400$ to clean. When they toured the property they came in in boots and muddy shoes I repeatedly had to clean up after their tours and they were incredibly rude and disrespectful. If you rent from them in the future dont even bother attempting to clean they will charge you regardless and their charges do not meet what the lease outlines. Overall the company is disrespectful and while yes, they are a business they were very ignorant on human empathy and being organized as a business.
