The North American Bigfoot Center is located at the intersection of Highway 26 and 212, next to a burger place, a pizza place, and a gas station. The facility features a gift store, a free information center, and an $8 admission area featuring dozens of exhibits. These displays show "evidence" of bigfoot and historical artifacts related to the sasquatch. There's a life size replica nicknamed "Murphy" that is a popular backdrop for photos. Altogether the museum took us probably 30 minutes going at a pretty quick pace. You could take longer if you stop to read everything. The staff at the ticket counter can be seen in photos in the exhibits, so they are experts and can answer any questions you may have. I'll admit that I am a bigfoot nonbeliever, but I think the museum did a pretty compelling job of making their case. They invite you into the world of possibility and it's fun to imagine that there are things we haven't discovered and questions we can't answer.

Whether you're familiar with the lore and history of bigfoot or not, this place is a great visit! They have so many casts, videos, and other cool things to see and learn about. Plus, the gift shop is stellar. Highly recommend to anyone even remotely interested in the paranormal/cryptids/etc.

Fun little stop along highway 26! Whether you believe or not it's fun!! Gift shop prices are a bit high but you can pick and choose what you find valued!!! The staff was super cool! Very nice and friendly!!

Timing didn't work for us to walk through, so we stopped and took some photos outside. The owner pulled up and took pictures for us. He was very kind! I wish we could have stayed to check out the place. It is right off the highway, so this is a great stop to stretch out your legs. Can't wait to come back and go inside!

My grandson has been super curious about Bigfoot so we thought we 'd stop by on our way to Mount Hood. Conveniently located right off Highway 26. It's $8 for Adults. Full of Bigfoot sightings information with map detailing locations. Interesting "facts". The animatronic like Bigfoot at the entrance with sounds was his favorite. Worth a stop just for the fun of it

This was a place that my daughter who loves anything and everything Bigfoot. We stopped and it's $8 per adult else if you're a senior, under 12 or military then you get a discount or free entry. They have a store of items to choose from and second location that they had lots of 3x shirts and that looked good. Many options for myself. I spoke to the guy and he said the county the museum is located in has the most Bigfoot spotting. He said Mt Hood is a hot spot for Bigfoot. They have a research lab upstairs. He said everyone that works there had a Bigfoot encounter. That's what sets them aside from the others around the US. The museum is a collection of artifacts taken or discovered from sights all over the US and Canada. They have an item that has the Bigfoot smell. It's awful. It's the smell you would expect. Raunchy. It was a good stop.

This was my second time at the museum. I left just as amazed and happy as the first time. Tyler was so interesting and fun to talk to! I could have stayed all day. Niko was so nice and helpful. I was also lucky enough to meet cliff himself. He was so friendly and so willing to talk I couldn't believe it. The museum is so fascinating. I wish I could bring everyone that I know that says there is no evidence. I love the gift shop. I love everything I have purchased. All quality. If u are anywhere near this place STOP! You won't be sorry.

Great employees, great environment. Quaint but jam packed with info, relics, data, research, etc. make your way through the gift shop into the actual museum, wave to Murphy (bigfoot statue) on your right and walk through all the different displays of local and international data and research. Wrap up the visit by walking through the gift shop again and buying all your souvenirs, take a it stop at their incredibly clean bathroom if need be, and then be on your way. Restaurants and gas stations located in the same area so great for travelers passing through or simply for this curious folks!

I took my nephews while in town for the holidays. The 6 year old said Bigfoot was a myth so I took him here to show him the facts. Lol The staff was super friendly, and it was something to do during all the Covid restrictions. Turned my skeptic nephew into a believer. So much in fact he kinda was spooked by the Sasquatch sounds. Listen, I put respect on the Yeti name. Period.

It was good in all but I'm not really interested in big foot. It was a fun little experience though.

But whether you believe or not, the center does a great job of laying out their evidence, and their theories.

My wife and I have frequented almost every hotel, and most of the pubs and taverns, and Edgefield is easily has the largest variety and quantity of offerings. If any location can be considered their flagship, Edgefield is probably it, and their care and attention to detail shows here. You'll find everything here, from apparel to craft brews, liquors, ice cream (spiked!), glassware, soaps and lotions, souvenirs, tchotchkes, doodads, and gizmos galore. There's also an espresso stand, which is a nice perk (hah)! If there is something McMenamins brand that you crave, there are few locations comparable to find what you're looking for: 23rd Ave, Old St. Francis (in Bend) both come to mind, but one of them's...a bit of a trek. And besides, who isn't looking for a reason to come to Edgefield?

That's wack. Ruined my happy experience. Why was an unmarked guest allowed to charge to a room and an actual guest was not??!
