I have been there 3 times and I found some great bargains every time I go in there. The employees are really nice and polite.

If you're within driving distance, it's a no-brainer. Plus, the variety and selection here is great, perhaps unmatched. This review is for the store at Thruway Shopping Center. This is the place to buy underwear. At least, for me it is. TMI? This underwear includes not only boxers, plain white briefs, colored briefs, and assorted boxer briefs, but undershirts too. There are many fabrics and styles to choose from. It can sometimes make the purchasing decision difficult, particularly when it comes to undershirts. Do you want 100% cotton or a 60/40 blend? Do you want your shirt to be loose fit, regular fit, slim fit, or extra slim fit? Are you wearing for comfort or performance? V-neck or crew cut? What color shirt? (They're not all white.) Decisions, decisions. One neat thing you can do here that you probably can't do at other Hanesbrands retailers is you can actually try on the undershirts. The staff will un-zip-lock the packages and un-tape the shirts so you can try different sizes and styles on. This was a great way for me to find out that the slim fit shirts are uncomfortable (to me). I may have ended up buying them (and regretting it later) otherwise. Not sure if you can try on the boxers, boxer briefs, or briefs... As far as pricing goes, you can get a 3-pack of basic white undershirts here for about $15. This is comparable to a discount retailer, but Hanes Mill Outlet often runs specials such as buy one, get the second half off. Not only that, but there is a free loyalty card you can have stamped each time you go. These loyalty cards result in future discounts -- for example, 20% off an entire future order. Not bad. The Champion athletic apparel brand is part of Hanesbrands, so there is a lot of Champion merchandise here. I'm a big fan of the Champion shorts and pants, which I often use to lounge around in. Soft and comfortable. Even though this is an "outlet," most, if not all, of the merchandise I've purchased here has been "first quality." As in, the same quality you'd find at a mainstream retailer. Note: Products that are 100% cotton will shrink in the dryer. Through many years of experience, I have learned to size up (above the package-printed measurement recommendations) on certain articles of Hanes clothing. You might want to do that too. Service is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. Hanes TAGLESS® apparel FTW!

I originally planned to stop back by the Greensboro location, but I wanted to stop by here again. I had came by here before when I first heard of Hamricks from my cousin. to me, it reminds me of a discount store like Burlington or TJ Maxx, or Big Lots. Most of the items are decently priced. I know that I got some shoes that were similar to Sperrys from here turn my first visit about 2 months ago. They have prescriptions to write the store. I noticed that many of the items does not have a price listed. The store is divided into different departments or areas. There is a sign above hanging from the ceiling to help guide you in case you want to go to a specific area. I browsed for a little bit just to see what they had. I had had no intentions on really buying anything, but you never really know. Check out can be a little difficult. The line starts in one of the aisles and supposed to go down it and around the right so that it loops around. I feel like they need to have an arrow pointing to the direction of the line because the sign is hanging from the ceiling doesn't make it very clear. I was standing thinking I was next in line, but really, I was not at all. Vanessa was the cashier who processes my return. It was a quick and easy process, and she was very friendly and polite. She stated everything that she was doing and how the refund would be processed. I use my credit card to make the purchase and I had needed it to get the refund. I grabbed the wrong credit card , so the right one was in my car. Nonetheless, I went to grab it from my car and she was patient until I returned. Many options here and I plan to return.

I never really know what they're gonna have until we get there. They do run an ad in the Sunday Paper. Not everything they sell is gonna be high-quality and some things will be the same as seen on TV or things that I consider too cheap to purchase - some stuff really cool and you just have to look. Cheapskates delight at this place - I do laugh that they live to crank the price up on the tag so they can put things on a big sale - they have price checking scanners throughout the store that are accurate. Hint - a lot of times things are even cheaper then they are marked - regulars okay is this and are always price checking - they just ask that things you don't want you put back where you found it after scanning. I love the antique store next door as well.

There's been a lot of talk about Trosa Thrift store around town lately. I've seen it all over…read moresocial media so a friend and I decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

The employee who checked us out was super nice. He gave us mor einfo about the store and gave my son a free item because he was wearing a Star wars shirt. I will be back when I am in need of items for my home.
