This is more of a hodgepodge group of stores and vendors. You do have clothing stores like any other mall, but also a section where individuals have booths selling their goods like a flee market. Unlike malls elsewhere that have lived passed their prime, full of empty stores, this one appears to be full with a lot of people shopping in it. For me personally, the Burlington Shoe store was decent. There is even a Dollar Tree if you want dirt cheap stuff (and who doesn't) made in China. Outside of that, not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

The discount and earned rewards are worth the cost of membership. I could spend all day there, perusing the various things that interest me. I am not happy with their change to adding a code to get into the bathroom. I realize they had issues with homeless people misusing the bathroom, but as a rectal cancer survivor, I don't have the time to hunt for an employee to get the code. I was literally seconds away from a bowel accident today, then had to turn around and find an employee. I was lucky, there was a guy shelving books close to the bathrooms. What if he hadn't been there, though? If I had to walk to the customer service desk or the register to get the code, I would have definitely had an accident. My suggestion to anybody that has bathroom issues, or small children, ask for the code as soon as you walk in the door. That way, you don't have to hunt for an employee and risk accidents. That is what I will be doing from now on.

They also have so much more like collectibles, musical equipment and much more. You can definitely kill a few hours here if you aren't careful. So much to see. I did find a couple books I wanted at a good price. I also found a used computer keyboard I needed. The books are somewhat organized but finding specific authors can be challenging. Their book collection is extensive. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of parking. I'll be going back to spend more time. I didn't have a lot of time to spend. I ordered the traditional cinnamon roll and a sea salt chocolate chip cookie. The cinnamon roll had really good flavor, especially the frosting and dough, and I thought the cinnamon-to-roll ratio was perfect. It was served slightly warm, but I did find the roll to be a little dry. The cookie, however, was easily my favorite. The combination of chocolate chips and sea salt was so good that I would honestly go back for a dozen cookies before getting another cinnamon roll. The customer service was pretty standard and not particularly personable, but the food was the main reason I stopped in. Overall, I enjoyed trying the spot, and that cookie definitely gave me a reason to come back.

I was approached by a white male employee with white/gray hair and glasses in the tv section who asked if he could help. I politely told him, "No thank you, I'm just looking. I'm not buying today." What really bothered me was the way he spoke to me about my decision not to purchase that day. After I repeatedly explained that I was just browsing, he made a comment along the lines of suggesting options for me "when I have the money." I never told him I couldn't afford a TV, nor did I say money was the reason I wasn't purchasing one that day. He then went on to tell me that anything under $600 was "bottom of the barrel." At that point, the interaction felt incredibly condescending and presumptuous. There's a difference between helping a customer understand different price points and making assumptions about their financial situation. The irony is that I walked into Best Buy intending to purchase a TV, washer, and dryer within the next month. I was genuinely considering spending a significant amount of money with this company. Instead, I walked out feeling judged and disrespected over a purchase I simply wasn't making that particular day. I will never be back.
