We hadn't seen Shucked before and I knew it'd be the funny light hearted silly type of humor we'd enjoy together since we love laughing. We had a great time. My son wasn't originally planning on attending but his flight was delayed by 9 hours, and the box office provided exceptional service when I needed another ticket upon arrival. While the production runs are pretty short it's so special to have the opportunity to catch the touring shows. We valeted the car and pre ordered ice-cream for intermission. If you live nearby this is a no brainer and even from a good drive over I'm still considering several other shows. The performance hall is very lovely, plush seats, lots of nice options for snacks and drinks. Bring a sweater because it can get a little chilly but perfect escape for whatever weather TX is throwing at you. Every individual from valet, to box office, ushers and more provided such great service. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to returning and making more of a day of it while in the Fort Worth area.

The subtitles above the stage made it much easier to follow along with what was being sung, which really enhanced the experience. The atmosphere was perfect for an afternoon performance, and it was nice that drinks were available. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. We sat in the upper section, and it did get a little warm--but considering it was a full house, it was understandable. Overall, it was a beautiful performance and a great experience.

Everyone here is incredibly helpful and willing to please their patrons. This year I saw La Traviata, Dog Days, and Hamlet. All three very different in their own ways, two of which are unique to any opera. If you haven't seen it, La Traviata is the opera that inspired Pretty Woman. It's very opulent, dramatic, and short. This makes it a fantastic first opera for anyone wanting to experience a show for their first time. It's a classic and easy to follow, plus the performers this year do a pretty good job. Dog Days is completely different. This show is dark, very dark, and not at all for the faint of heart. Set in a post-apocalyptic world with a family starving to death, you meet a man in a dog suit. This show is not like your average opera with very little melody to follow, but the subject matter is deep and will intrigue you. Definitely not kid friendly. But great. Hamlet is not like your typical Hamlet. I won't spoil anything, but you will be surprised. Plus as soon as you enter the lobby you're immersed into the Hamlet world, one which you're really not expecting! Their customer service staff is so friendly they will help you find the best seats at your price point. There are student packages and lots of opportunities for discount.

The grand tier is really high up so I do prefer floors 1-4 ideally but I would not be scared to see a show from level 5. Sight lines are nice throughout. I may have to think about one of the extreme side seats on higher levels. That could restrict sight lines some. The Broadway shows are always great - in my opinion the sound and seating at Winspear really shine versus Fair Park Music Hall. Concerts here are fantastic and I would jump at the chance to see a favorite artist at the Winspear. Easiest parking is the Lexus Red lot but it is a bit pricey and naturally takes a while to empty out post show. Still you can walk around after the show and let the crowds clear out or get a snack at the Flora Cantina next door. There is also dining inside the center up high which looks really great. Amazing views from inside on all levels. What a gorgeous building and we are lucky to have it in our city.

The house acoustics are wonderful and the seats were comfortable enough to endure an almost three hour show! Honestly, the bathroom situation could be improved, because the lines were so long (even for the men's) that I really had just enough time at intermission to go there and back. It's a first world music venue with second world bathrooms. Also, I am not a tall guy, but airplanes have more legroom than the Morton Meyerson. I will give them an A+ on programming though, great show, especially to bridge a cross-generational audience! OK, I know Danny is 74 years old, but the bulk of his fans are much younger!

About 5 years ago a local nonprofit had one of their fundraisers here and I remember thinking it was a really great venue. We got to wander around the 5 different galleries and watch the harpist they had in what I now know is one of their two theaters. After cocktails we were ushered into a large space that they had cleared out- but left all the paintings on the walls- for dinner. The seats were surpirisingly more comfortable than I expected, although the legroom was a little tight for my long legs. For reference, I'm 5'9 1/2". The acoustics were excellent! I liked that there were drinks and food options available, and that drinks could be brought into the theater. That's rare. My only complaint, which may not be the fault of the Majestic, was that the lead singer's voice was drowned out by the instruments. To be fair, Amber's (the lead singer) voice is very sweet and soft. The instruments of the band sounded great and were very crisp and clear, which was a testament to the sound system and acoustics in the room, but they overpowered the lead singer. The lighting on the stage was also very good. In the basement of the theater, there are vintage artifacts from the theater, and details about the history of the items and the theater. This is very nice and a great way to preserve and teach the history of the Majestic for generations to come. For parking, there's a nearby outdoor parking lot down the street but the cost is $30 to park. I would definitely return to the Majestic for a concert!
