My partner and I took our car here about six months ago for service. The radiator was replaced, but we had to tell them to look for an oil leak we knew was happening. they did "repair" it, but we were overcharged in the first place and now the car is back in a different shop for repairs on the exact same issues. Didn't seem to want my business... My daughters car needs some work, they are only 5 miles from my house and i like to use local businesses... When i called and told them that the car needed a few things done, they started acting like it was a bother... Then they told me they were going to charge me $66 to tow it to their shop, then $70/hour to look at it... So, that's over $10/mile to tow it to their shop where they want to charge an additional fee before they do any real work on the car... I get it, they charge to trouble shoot and put it on the computer, but that's pretty excessive, my insurance agent was even surprised that they would charge to tow it to THEIR shop where they know they would get the work.... read more

I've always had a good experience at North Davidson Auto. Owner does great work and all staff is always friendly every time I come in the door. When I had an expensive repair years ago, they even let me pay over time as I didn't have it all up front. Really got me out of a tough spot when I rely on my car so much. read more
