Very friendly, good pricing, fast services. I have a 11' Caddy CTS Coupe that I don't trust just anyone to work on.

They are very accommodating in letting us drop off our car for an oil change and pick it up later at our leisure.

What I love most about then is that they never try to sell you anything extra like most mechanic places, they just do what you ask and get the job done fast! Unless it's something that's really bad and needs repairing ASAP they will let you know and are very honest about it! I get my oil changed here and it's about $26-28 bucks for a basic oil change and filter. They are really fast and most time I get out in under 15 minutes. I never think of going anywhere else! I also got my front brakes fixed here, and they got that done in less than half an hour. It was about $200 bucks, but it NEEDED to be done as they said I had about 2 weeks left before it could cause some bigger problems. They also pull the car out for you so you are ready to roll out after paying! Customer service at its finest! I also know they have a car wash and that they have a ladies day and a gentleman's day where they have a cheaply priced car wash, I think it's Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get their car fixed. You can't go wrong with these guys!

A few weeks ago, I went in because my brakes were squealing. They told me I only needed new brakes, so I had them replaced. About a week later, the new brakes started squealing again, even louder than before. When I took my car back, I was told they would not warranty the brakes because I did not replace the rotors. The problem is, no one told me I needed new rotors when they originally did the brake job. If replacing the rotors was necessary for the brakes to work properly or be covered under warranty, that should have been explained before I paid for the service. Now I am out the money I spent on new brakes, and my brakes are louder than they were before. I no longer feel that Grease Monkey stands behind their work or fully explains important information to their customers. Sadly, after being a loyal customer for years, I will not be returning.

Overpriced and a waste of time!…read more Waited two days while my vehicle sat in their parking lot waiting for them to inspect an engine light. When I dropped off my vehicle the morning of the first day the associate at the front desk told me it would only be a few hours. After that time passed and I hadn't gotten any update I decided to call to see what the issue was. I was met with a rude response by Doug that this wait time was normal, that I shouldn't bother them if they haven't text/called, and that I should call back before closing if my vehicle still has not been seen. Doug gave me no time frame to how long it would take. So eventually it got close to closing when I called again and decided to leave my vehicle overnight to get it seen quicker. It wasn't. They finally inspected it late in the afternoon on the second day where they found a faulty catalytic converter. Doug quoted me $3000 with the OEM part and $2500 for the "cheaper" aftermarket part. It was outrageously high and not worth the service wait time. I quickly talked with another mechanic I trusted who quoted me a little under $1000 for the repair while being very helpful and nice. I am going to take my business elsewhere after this experience. While some staff are very helpful and nice the experience with Doug was one of the worst I have had. Even the diagnostic fee of $107 wasn't discounted for an extremely long inconvenience. Don't go to this auto shop unless you enjoy wasting days/weeks for service that amounts to expensive price gouging for your wallet.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE…read more If I could give a negative rating, I would. Extremely disappointing and misleading experience at Carmine's Import Service. I was told by Tesla that my 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance needed a battery pack replacement. Before committing to Tesla, I called this shop and spoke with someone I believe was named Max, who assured me they could do the job and had third-party battery options that would be cheaper than Tesla. Based on that information, I paid $400 out of pocket to tow my car from Raleigh to their shop. That's where the red flags started. * It took over two days just to get a diagnosis, and I had to repeatedly call for updates. * I was charged $243.13 for the diagnostic, despite the delays and lack of communication. * My advisor, Marissa, told me she was "looking for a battery," which alone took another full day. * When I finally received an estimate, I was shocked: $28,000 total, with $23,000 claimed just for the battery. For comparison, Tesla charges around $13,000 for the same battery replacement -- and I personally found a compatible battery online for $14,500, which still makes their quoted $23,000 battery price extremely inflated. When I asked for a detailed, itemized estimate (battery source, labor hours, cost breakdown), I never received one. They could never explain where the battery was coming from, how many labor hours were involved, or why the price was so high. I asked twice to speak with a manager. Messages were taken both times. No manager ever called or texted me back. Because no repair was done, I then had to pay another $500 to tow my car back to Raleigh, wasting $900 total in towing alone, plus the $243.13 diagnostic fee -- not counting time and stress. Between the lack of transparency, the exaggerated battery cost, the inflated estimate, and zero management follow-up, this experience felt misleading and unprofessional. I wasted time, money, and trust bringing my vehicle here. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
