9/17/21: Very active park! Big and NOT SO BIG dog parks, tennis courts, walking areas, skate park, volleyball, picnic areas. Great space for all kids of every age. Enjoy!

Lots of space for your pup to roam.

Lots of space for your pup to roam. My buddy Java said he particularly likes the shady spots on a hot Spring day. They could use some nice public restrooms. The park can get somewhat busy on Saturdays mid morning!

I love here . Very safe and clean . And see mountains behind dog park . My dog are so happy play .

Dylan had a great time in this clean, spacious park with plenty of trees, benches, wood chips, and a variety of guests.

Visiting from Colorado, my 9 1/2 year old Great Pyrneese loved the clean, spacious park. So much to sniff...so little time... Water. Trees. Wood chips. Fenced. Very nice park!

This dog park is great! I've only encountered nice people and nice dogs, which isn't always the case at other parks. It has two parts: big dog and small dog (25lbs and under). There are always tennis balls and rope toys for the dogs to play with, and TONS of water bowls. The small dog side is really hit or miss as to whether other dogs will be there. The big dog side always has at least a couple pups running around having a blast. It's part of the North Domingo Baca Park, which is really nice and there are soccer fields, a kids play ground, skate park, and some outdoor rec areas next to it. There is a public bathroom next to the playground, just a short walk from the dog park. The only issues I have with this park are that not everyone picks up after their dogs (at least not on the small dog side), and that the small dog side isn't very popular.

Ok so I love this dog park hands down but just to let you know they have some high maintenance pet owners who have no coping skills haha they can't handle dogs playing but it's just a few who like to complain about everything let's just say and oh you know those kind of people but still it's a good dog park.

Hi yelpers! I just took over my mom's Yelp because you have to hear it from the dog's mouth! My name is Presley Teller Montoya. Yep! I have all last names.I'm 2 years old and I'm a very spirited pup. I have tons of energy. The best place I release and let go is at North Domingo Baca Dog Park. I chill with the big dogs and kick it with the little dogs. I have tons of friends there. I love this park because there are no bullies. If any of you dog moms and dads want to meet up let my mom know we're down like James Brown. Here's my of approval. Well I just took a bath and I'm exhausted. my first nap of the day is in full swing. Laters, Yelpers

It is an honor to be squeezed out once spring rolls around so the high school can practice from 4 to 6 PM but otherwise the courts are generally available and well visited. One of the great local pros Amanda runs tenacious groups from 12 to 2 and you can easily learn something by playing in an adjacent court. The rates seem reasonable, and the people all seem to know each other well and enjoy their time together as well as improving, smash his doubles strategy and coming to the net. It's not uncommon to find someone claiming to be the local marshal of the place cleaning up debris and letting the participants know of upcoming schedule changes. I find the nets somehow are always the right height. The active bocce ball and wall climbing chords immediately north of the tennis courts, as well as the birding new swimming complex that has been under construction for at least the last three years make one feel that this is the center of physical activity in North Albuquerque. The people are all very friendly and somewhat competitive. There isn't a lot of dispersion in talent among all the people who play there, but there seems to be a fair amount of good Nature competitiveness and play and I think that is one of the hallmarks of Albuquerque outdoor it seems to me that no matter how much the city has invested its citizens have reaped and 10 times that amount in their enjoyment, their longevity and their cardio

There's a large "urban camping" situation going on at this park. Lots and lots of people camping out here, with pitched tents, little shelters, lean-to structures, and the works. There are some pretty good examples of cool structures that can be made out of tarps and shopping carts. The park is bisected by 3rd Street, which cuts right through the heart of it, dividing Coronado Dog Park from Coronado Skate Park, which seems to have even more of a population of campers. Parking for this park is rather difficult, since it's right along busy streets. There's no restrooms here, and most of the trees seem to be dead/dying. Perhaps from the lack of water or the tremendous amount of pee. This isn't a good example of the parks that the Land of Enchantment has to offer. I'd suggest going elsewhere, even if you do need to walk the dog. If you're having some early morning hair of the dog, then this might be a good place to go. Fortunately, you don't have to worry about your dog running onto the freeway, since it's elevated at this point. There seems to be no segregation for big dogs and little ones. I wouldn't come to this park after dusk.
