The almond toffee crunch did not have a good taste. I've tasted this candy from multiple locations and this shop's version did not have good flavor. As I turned to leave, I noticed sunlight coming from a 2-3 inch gap under the door which immediately had me thinking that rodents have easy access to the shop. read more

Great little store. They are in town on the main street and it was so quaint. Totally photo worthy frontage and they have a menu and instructions outside to ensure the safety of clients. One family allowed inside at a time, and you find out quickly once you step inside. It's super small and quaint. The employee was super nice and I wanted to try the peanut butter bombs, but I eat vegan, and I had to skip on this treat. I did grab some old school dots (those pieces of sugar stuck to paper) and that was a super awesome treat, but it was so pretty and so many great gifts in here. read more

Cute little shop in quaint North East; the lady behind the counter is none other than the owner herself, and she makes these chocolates and treats by hand in an off-site location. And they're pretty tasty, too. This place has all the charm of a small town in one tiny house; the signs outside are delightful, the store has a solid assortment of mainstream candy (Wonka, jelly belly, etc.), niche brands (Harry Potter candy, Pez), sugar-free selection, and of course, CHOCOLATE! I worked in a candy store for ages. The only thing missing here is chunky English toffee. I tried some Chocolate Peanut Butter fudge (delicious, super creamy) and homemade buckeyes (yum!!!). The chocolate is all weighed out and is really quite affordable for handcrafted stuff. And the presentation! I'm a sucker for cutesy stuff and this place takes the cake. I almost didn't want to eat it. Bonus: sweet doggy treats available; 1 cent select candies on Thursdays! Guys, I got way too much candy, and it was all worth it. read more

A Pleasant Experience and A Great Birthday Gift My coworker and I pass this little candy shop on our way to work almost weekly, and for several months have excitedly talked about what decadent sweets could be found inside. Well yesterday, I wondered no more. As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted by the counter attendant and the smell of chocolate. The counter attendant was very patient at my indecisiveness at what dark chocolates to get my father for his birthday. And while my father prefers the classic chocolates(cherry cordials, raspberry creams, truffles, all of which I selected from the counter), there were chocolate covered mints, pretzels, marshmallows and many other varieties of chocolate goodies. I was even shocked to see fishcer's popcorn, but as regular popcorn with sea salt. The counter attendant as I've said was very helpful and even asked if I wanted a ribbon for my box of chocolates and the color. And half a pound of chocolate for a little over twelve dollars was a great price for homemade chocolate! My father loved the chocolates and I happily recommended the shop to my coworker. I'll definitely be a returning come Father's Day! read more

This place is not kid friendly ? I made a statement with a question mark because I just don't understand how the owner can't crack one smile when 4 children , 2 teenagers and 2 Adults darken your doorstep at 3pm on a lazy slow Sunday afternoon . Each child was allowed to pick one piece of candy and adults got chocolate from the glass case . There was no help at all from the owner . She would just ask in a Karen like voice ---Chocolate OR Dark Chocolate in a robotic sounding voice . Their was a rainbow sticker on the door stating that they welcome all ....but do they welcome 4 black children from the inner city ? Do they wonder why a white couple has them in their family ? Maybe the owner was just having a bad day or hated her job ? Either way ....treat kids well and they will come back . I promise this will be one place for that I shall not return !!!!! So I'm pretty sure Woody's makes you wait for a table whether there's a wait or not so you can shop around this little town, but I'm glad I did because I found a tasty dessert! Came into this little candy shop and started eying through the case. We found enough items that perked our interest to start ordering 2 by 2 of all sorts. As others have mentioned, the chocolate salted caramels were great. I loved the bunny tails which were covered in coconut. The molasses sponge covered in chocolate is not something you'll find many other places and the raspberry filled dark chocolates were decadent. We spent less than 12 bucks and had a bunch of chocolate treats for later. Places will never have everything you're looking for, but they do a great job of cramming a ton of sweets into this tiny shop! read more

Love this place! The sea salted caramels are the best, and the white chocolate peanut butter cups are pretty good as well!! Not to mention you can also get Fisher's Popcorn here!! On the weekends sometimes they even have cupcakes! Valentines Day they have chocolate covered strawberries - this year my hubby actually got me sea salted chocolate caramel dipped strawberries -- THEY WERE AWESOME!!! Highly recommended!!! They just opened back up today! The staff were friendly and helpful and the chocolates are great! Salted caramel is definitely the most liked. It is definitely cheap compared to the prices of chocolate in New York, where I was coming from. Highly recommend it, especially because it is in the heart of a cute, quaint town. read more
