    The mainstream candy.

Cute little shop in quaint North East; the lady behind the counter is none other than the owner herself, and she makes these chocolates and treats by hand in an off-site location. And they're pretty tasty, too. This place has all the charm of a small town in one tiny house; the signs outside are delightful, the store has a solid assortment of mainstream candy (Wonka, jelly belly, etc.), niche brands (Harry Potter candy, Pez), sugar-free selection, and of course, CHOCOLATE! I worked in a candy store for ages. The only thing missing here is chunky English toffee. I tried some Chocolate Peanut Butter fudge (delicious, super creamy) and homemade buckeyes (yum!!!). The chocolate is all weighed out and is really quite affordable for handcrafted stuff. And the presentation! I'm a sucker for cutesy stuff and this place takes the cake. I almost didn't want to eat it. Bonus: sweet doggy treats available; 1 cent select candies on Thursdays! Guys, I got way too much candy, and it was all worth it.

2 1/2 lbs of chocolate goodness!

Flawless chocolates and fun vintage candy. We stopped in out of curiosity and it's now a destination spot for us.

This place was amazing. Went there a few months ago and the dark chocolate peanut butter cups haunt me to this day. I have to go back.

It was just me, so I only got half a dozen donuts with a knife so I could taste them all! I tried: Cookies & Cream, Salted Caramel, Maple Bacon, Toasted Coconut, Chai, and Fluffernuter. Let me start by saying the cake part of these donuts is just perfect. Not too dense, lightly crisp on the outside, and insanely fresh. The toppings might sound over the top, but they weren't. They were perfectly subtle to add a hint of flavor without a dose of diabetes. And the coffee- such unique lattes both in name and flavors. I went with Davy Joey's Locker with an extra shot of espresso. So good. Not overly sweet and not bitter at all. And then I just had to try the cute little pistachio cannoli. Shell was filled upon ordering, so the shell was nice and crispy. Now this was super sweet, but I haven't met a cannoli yet that wasn't! Barista was friendly & bubbly and patient when it took me some time to pick my 6 donuts. Basic tables and chairs with some bench seating along the window. Pillows & chairs could use a refresh, as well as the bathroom, looking a bit worn & dingy, but that's literally the only negative thing about this place.

Three of us met there for lunch today, and it was delicious. Two of us had the Chicken and Waffles: thick, tender waffles topped with beautifully seasoned fried chicken thighs, then doused tableside by Kimberly with house-made maple-jalapeño syrup. Melting butter and scattered pecans added just the right crunch and richness. I also tried the blue corn grits--creamy, savory, and delicious. Our third guest had the Eggs Benedict with collard greens: perfectly poached eggs, silky hollandaise, and greens that were absolutely "grandma good." Drinks included a great sangria and spicy Bloody Marys, and dessert was carrot cake with homemade vanilla ice cream--golden yellow, egg-rich, custardy, and speckled with real vanilla. Great service, casual ambiance, and down-home, chef-cooked food with a touch of grandma's magic. Definitely recommend.

Why is there not a dress code? It ruined my entire evening with my date. Good food can only last so far when the ambience stinks. Speaks volumes about who they cater to. It's very loud in there. And, the ambience and decor is cafeteria like. The food is good. The service is good. But why they don't have some form code is beyond me.
