Wow. Just wow. I'm so blown away with this incredible place helping this homeless female vet in my…read moredire time of need. Reached out to them in desperation as I was living in my car and they reached out next morning asap eager to provide any assistance they could. I had been calling 20-30 homeless shelters and organizations a day trying to seek immediate shelter, and this ranch is the only place that stepped up to take me in . The owners are generous beyond words, just unconditional love and support every step of the way. Their cause is noble, their hearts are boundless, and they truly live by example. Could gush over them for days for all the help they've given me. Amazing housing accommodations- literally fully stocked cottage with the most tasteful decor and well thought out necessities already provided. If something wasn't there, they were eager to provide it asap. The farm is just adorable; all the animals are well taken care of and are such a pleasure to visit. It's quiet, comfortable, peaceful, and you can tell how much care was poured into putting these places together. Just all the little touches they've added. There's a full-sized oven/stove, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, washer and dryer provided, a place to shower, storage embedded for me to squirrel away belongings as needed, too lol. Roku TV was installed in my current unit today. Free and good Wi-Fi. Keurig for coffee. Even a water purifier! O_O Seriously what homeless shelter does that?? None. None I tell you. I've been there, lived in a shelter for 6 months, and this ranch blows every other place out of the water. If you are a woman veteran in need of housing assistance, please consider reaching out to Valor Ranch! If you are looking for a non-profit organization to support, I cannot recommend this lovely ranch enough!

Wings of Love was on Facebook, and I saw the pictures of the birds they adopted. Some of them came in with no feathers and miserable, but then a month or two later, they'd post an update photo, and the birds looked so amazing. When the birds would spend time at the Haven, their feathers would come back, and you could see the light shining in their eyes again. Then I checked out their adoption policies. They do home visits, they have a lot of questions you have to answer before you can adopt, and they take this adoption stuff really seriously. I loved that! It means these precious birdies who will live a long, long time are going to have good forever homes, and hopefully it will be their last home! No more trauma, no more sadness, no more neglect or abuse. We were so lucky to find them. Even though they were a bit of a distance from us, we fully expected to have to take a few trips back and forth before we could bring our baby home. After much thought and talk with the director of the Haven, I finally decided on which bird to adopt and I brought my Goffin's Cockatoo home a few months ago. Already, he's integrated into the family so well and I love him so much! I was lucky that my bird had been in a Haven foster home before I adopted him and they have been wonderful with helping me learn more about my bird and his likes and schedule and foods and dislikes, etc. I love how they have foster homes that help prepare the birds for adoption and get them more used to human contact and interaction if they haven't already been in a family. Our new cockatoo family member has a little brother named Conner, a Conure, and I am in birdie heaven with them both! I highly recommend Wings of Love Bird Haven for adopting birds... or sadly, if you have to release one to someone who cares and will take care of them. They are amazing.

This is a Non Christian Agency! We have been with them two years and I will tell you that upper…read moremanagement doesn't care about any of there individuals. We adopted a 21 month old and not 1 upper management said congrats or anything. We moved on campus and right away started having bites on us. We're not sure where they were coming from. So we moved into another house and it got worse. Come to find out it was bed bugs! So they treated the house three times. Each time we had to leave for a night or two, board our dogs at our own cost. So now we got so fed up we purchased a house and gave notice. Woke up one morning and my son who is 21 months old had bites lol over him which we took pictures and notes and dated. Sent all this information to upper management and no response. Finally I followed up with maintenance and they said in a week they would review the issues. I told them I was going to lose over $15000 worth of furniture and requested $2500 for all of the stuff we are losing. They said they will have a meeting on Wednesday. Well here it is Tuesday and they denied my request. Very unprofessional and don't care about anything but the next family to come into the house and bring them money. I would not recommend this agency to anyone if you are going to live on campus. Randy Odom (Vice President) doesn't respond to emails at all. Jason Curry President, puts everything on other people. I will be taking this up with the trustees and anyone else I know. The only people that are worth anything are the case manages but even they don't stay long with them. These people allowed a 21 month old to get bit nightly and not respond to my emails about helping us after the 3rd treatment which they promise would fix the issue. Well no it didn't. My kid has to suffer along with a bunch of other kids. It's a shame that all the Christian stuff in front of people is exactly that "A Front". Please do yourself a favor and find an agency that really goes out of their way to help you.
