I finally booked a unit for Memorial Day Weekend sight unseen because their rep (Cheryl) told me their website was down. And because of the holiday, they charged a 3-day minimum - which was fine. Drop off Friday and pick-up Monday. That's what the contract stated and what we paid for. However, when we arrived at the campsite on Saturday - the trailer still was not delivered! We had to call them to make sure it was indeed coming. When they finally brought it, they "forgot" to bring the generator we also rented! And later on night 1, after using only about 3 gallons of water, the fresh water ran out! So they also did NOT DELIVER THE UNIT WITH A FULL TANK OF FRESH WATER. And it is highly unlikely they even emptied the grey water from the last rental since it was full when they came out to refill the water. Gross. In addition, the unit was very old and outdated. Pieces of brittle plastic would pop off when we tried to operate basic levers and knobs. When I shared my displeasure with Cheryl in paying for 3 days and only receiving 2, she reluctantly agreed to refund one day of the rental. As of the time of posting this review - she has not refunded any money to me or returned my messages (no surprise). AVOID THIS VENDOR! There are several other options in the Kernville area that provide far better service and will give you a vacation worth remembering. Our friends at the adjacent campsite used a different vendor and had a completely different (amazing) experience.

I had been in a rock slide and blew out my tire. Rocks were actively falling in the canyon. At least 2 other cars were totaled. And I think a total of 8 to 10 vehicles were impacted by this. I had to make the decision to evacuate my vehicle as boulders were coming down within feet of me. I had an expired registration so chp impounded my car which is totally on me. However given the extreme circumstances the chp informed me that the tow company had discretion on the fees. I approached the owner Bill with a very reasonable payment plan. My fees were at that time $898. I offered $600 and the reminder in 2 weeks. Bill decided to lecture me on my registration and was beyond arrogant and talked over me. I understand that im at fault for the registration issue and those fees and i took care of those. I feel like given the extreme circumstances some discretion could have been shown and some empathy. I had to leave my car so quickly on the side of the road I left my purse, my car keys l, my phone, obviously something happened. Cal trans knew there were active rocks and boulders falling. I think the chp would have let me call AAA given the situation. I saw so many reviews about Bill and his lack of manners and they were all true but hes actually worse than anything anyone said. He felt the front brakes and said the rotors were warped and he was sure that's what was causing the problem. Told him we'd like to get that fixed and he said he would start looking for the parts. Several days later, we hadn't heard back so we called again. He said he had his parts guy looking for what we needed but he hadn't found the parts yet. We told him we were only in town for another week and really wanted this done before we left. He told us we could find the parts ourselves if we were in a hurry. So, we called the International dealer an hour away and they immediately told us they had the parts we needed. (Why couldn't his parts guy find them?! It took us like five minutes.) Had the parts shipped overnight so we could get them installed. Called Brian, he didn't call back. Texted and reminded him we were leaving town soon and basically begged him to come do the install. He agreed to come on the last day we were in town. After the parts were installed, I took the bus around the block to test it out. Steering felt EXACTLY the same. No change at all. So even if the brakes needed new rotors, that obviously wasn't the problem we wanted to fix. Now we're out over $1200 and our steering still sucks. Wrong diagnosis, bad communication skills, zero effort to help us find parts. Overall super bummed with this entire transaction. But I guess our brakes are better now. ‍

This mobile mechanic company was really really helpful and really helped me out when my van broke…read moredown in Kernville. They made it a point to try there best to help me the best they could and even though the business didn't go to them because of the size of the job and the time restrictions we had. They went above and beyond trying to help me with my situation. They were even willing to give me A Tow which is another service they offer. At the end of them helping me I tried to give them alittle Tip just to show my appreciation and they declined it. This in itself showed me the kind of man Bryan is and the kind of business he's running. So we said forget about taken the vette back to Downtown FixUs Automotive We took the vette to Transcend Automotive up in Lake Isabella. To fix the front lights they wouldn't close on the front of vette. We also wanted oil change and filter change , change spark plugs,fix the glove box it wouldn't stay closed. When you roll passenger window down it sounded like a scraping noises. We wanted the radiator flushed. Needed brake lights fixed. And change the brake pads. This company did it all with 6 days. 6 Days. I'm not kidding. They called us everyday to let us know what they're doing or what they found. They are all friendly. Reasonable priced. They are on it. Old school. We have had no problems with the corvette. We definitely know where to take our vehicles to. They're on it. They are definitely an Automotive Shop. So after paying thier fees I called AAA and PRECISION TOWING responded to the call. The owner was their with the employee to pickup my car. My first impression was how friendly and kind and approachable the owner was. They towed my car to their yard and repaired my tire charged my battery but my car was still not drivable. So I had to get it towed home used AAA again and the distance from their yard and my house was more than what was covered by AAA. So there would be a small charge but when they called to say it was on the way they waived that charge!!! I cant thank them enough and will recommend them to anyone needing towing services.
