After discussing with my insurance provider, they confirmed that I was indeed eligible and even called North Point Eye Care to clarify. When I called back, the assistant said she would return my call, but instead, she just texted me. Without scheduling an appointment, she started telling me that they would not offer any refunds if something went wrong with my order. I explained that the office should stand behind their services and provide a refund if there are any issues, but she refused to provide service and insisted on their no-refund policy. This lack of accountability and refusal to guarantee their work is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid North Point Eye Care, as they do not guarantee their services and do not prioritize customer satisfaction.

I took PTO to drive 40 minutes to my appointment only to arrive to a note taped to the door saying that the center was closed until further notice. I even received a reminder email the morning of my appointment and there was no indication of cancelation. When I tried to call them, their line was disconnected. I call every center's number I could find and their lines were all disconnected. As I sat in the parking lot trying to get anyone to answer the phone, I watched at least 6 other patients pull into the parking lot, walk up, read the sign, turn right around and leave. Looks like I wasn't the only one that didn't get the closure message. I better not be charged as a no-show for their unannounced closure. I won't be recommending them to anyone based off of this interaction and customer service experience alone.

I swear I would choose the dentist over the optometrist because I cannot stand the feeling of something in or near my eye, and only made it about 2 weeks in contacts many years ago. With that being said, both Dr. Sivan & Dr. Whitbourne were fantastic!! They were attentive, precise, and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and ready for them to take a look at my eyes. I feel like they both have this calming, quiet energy about them that helped me relax. They even let me opt out of dilating my eyes and had a machine that took x rays behind my eyes so they got a full visual without having to mess me up for the next hour or so with the solution. I did pay a fee for this whereas the dilation is covered, but I still thought it was worth it. Front desk staff was also extremely helpful upon check in and at check out. It's a beautiful, clean space and located right in Vickery Village. Highly recommend!

I had severe astigmatism and nearsightedness with onset at age nine. The special contacts I needed…read morewere uncomfortable and I hated wearing glasses. I could read the "E" at the top of the eye chart and that was all. As soon as I could, much later in life, I did something about it. Two co-workers recommended Dr. Ashraf of the Atlanta Vision Institute when he was with his former lasik surgery practice. On their recommendation, I had the same surgery performed (using a type of Bausch & Lomb equipment that is obsolete now). He corrected my eyes to 20/15 in one eye, and nearly 20/15 in the other. This was back in 2001 and I swear by my results. Lasik, though performed under a streamlined process, is still surgery, and you experience minor discomfort and inconvenience as you recover. The success rate is very, very high, as a result of being carefully screened beforehand. Read the literature accompanying your consent forms. I referred Miss D. to Dr. Ashraf after he formed the Atlanta Vision Institute, and he performed a different type of vision improvement surgery for her, and three years later she also is very happy with her result. We paid for and received the one-year touch-up package, though she did not use it.

To top it off the person who helped me, Grace, looked completely confused and did not remember having a conversation about 2 pairs of glasses, when she went to speak with someone else, I could over hear them and nobody was aware of the 2nd pair of glasses. I was starting to feel like I was losing my mind but my husband had been with me during the first visit and recalled everything I had encountered the first visit with 2 pairs of glasses being ordered.
