Unbelievable!! Poor service! I just walked out. I've waited approximately 2 months for an eye appointment. I'm harassed by text messages making sure I'm keeping my appointment to only arrive and find I have to wait 2 1/2 hours to be seen. Use your text messaging system to alert your "potential " clients so WE can make an informed decision. I then request a new date. Instead of finding a way to satisfy a "potential " clue for your issues, I'm told nothing through October; which is where I stopped the assistant and walked out. I came to have an eye checked for an active nerve. Not to spend the day with you guys. read more

Poor Follow up. I get a general feeling of 'going thru the motions'. Can't see an Ophthalmologist without seeing an optometrist first. I guess I can't choose my provider. Surgery was easy and everyone is so nice. The facility is spotless. One eye done and one eye to go.

I had surgery four a pterygium on my eye and Dr. Vira also scraped my cornea to get a shadow off. It's been about 6 weeks and I go every week to be seen. I have seen Dr Easley and Dr. Vira post op. I have been so well taken care of by the doctors. I have been on different medications , different drops! It was impossible to see out of my eye .The discs that were being put in my eye made it impossible to see , it even hurt quite a bit. I had to even wear a patch . But I finally got a disc I could see a little bit more with. I'm so thankful to Milan Eye Center I know they are taking the very best care of me. I would recommend them to anyone . read more

I've been going to Milan Eye Center for about a year or 2 now. I can't remember exactly but I go to the Alpharetta location. I've had nothing but a good experience. The staff is friendly, the wait is very minimal. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. Dr. Vira is also very nice and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them. Milan Eye Center and Dr. Densi were recommended to me for a second opinion related to glaucoma and corneal damage from an enhancement to my LASIK procedure 20 years ago. The eye center is extremely well run and very professional. The technician who ran several screening test was kind and thorough. Dr. Densi was everything you want a doctor to be... Kind, brilliant, compassionate regarding my very complex eye problems, and gave me recommendations about what could be done, even though he didn't have a great solution for me. My friend had a stellar experience because her issue was Cataracs and vision impairment only. She was nearly blind and changing her glasses prescription every six months previously. She now has 20/20 vision and no glasses. read more

I just couldn't recommend Milan with good conscience. What seems to work - clean office, reasonable scheduling, wait time within 20 minutes or so of appointment time, Dr. seemed competent. But all is called into question with the following. I was referred by internist for complete exam including refraction for new prescription. A tech teaching a tech later followed by an intern completes virtually all tests. Dr. follows up at the end and looks over results and does some checking of his own. Starts to fall apart...leave with prescription to get new glasses. Fill it elsewhere (they don't sell frames - no big deal, not their thing). Pick up glasses with new prescription and it is clearly VERY wrong. Continues falling apart...get new exam at regular optician; prescription from Milan is WAY OFF (not just a little). Have to refill prescription and optician does Milan a huge favor (no charge for new exam and no charge for redoing four pairs of glasses). One heck of a professional courtesy by Brigg's. Here's where it comes unhinged...I call Milan to let them know, struggle with the system to get a hold of anyone (best luck is to hit the new patient button) and share the story with the woman on the phone (after asking her if she was the one that I should talk to regarding how events unfolded - she says that she is the one to tell). I tell the story. And now these are direct quotes...she says, "oh, someone should have told you that vision prescriptions and refraction aren't our specialty, we aren't as thorough with those." I said, "you've got to be kidding; is that really your marketing message?". She says again, "someone should have told you." I let her know that Milan both sent me out the door with a vision prescription and charged me for the effort - not to mention that they clearly had an investment in the machinery so must consider themselves somewhat adept. Never once an apology. We signed off with me asking that she pass the experience along. Who knows if she did or didn't. Just awful. Needless to say, if you're not "thorough" in one area of an exam that it pretty much calls it all into question. Or just say up front, as your phone operator suggests, that you're pretty good in this area but not very good in others. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Milan consider alternatives. Or go ahead and I hope that you only experience the pretty good at what they do stuff. read more

If you are considering Milan Eye Care, be very careful and ask a lot of questions as to your responsibilities for payment. I gave one star for the reception and courtesy at the front desk. You would think this is a professional and well organized situation by their first reception, unfortunately that is not the case. I saw Dr Easley a year ago. After my exam and a test, he referred me to Roswell Eye. He and his assistants confirmed that my records would be forwarded to the other office. I paid my $50 co-pay and thought that was it. The records were never sent to Roswell Eye, and I got an additional bill a month later from Milan for another $150 for the visit and the test. I emailed, called, and wrote the billing office to understand why the office charged me additionally for the office visit ($100) and the test I never received the benefit of having sent to Roswell Eye. It took almost a year to finally hear after several attempts to communicate that Dr Easley coded the visit in such a manner that the co-pay does not apply. And the office told me it was my responsibility to make sure my records were sent. The billing office participants are completely dismissive and take no responsibility. I was so hopeful that reasonability and professionalism would prevail. I was wrong and very disappointed. read more

First cataract surgery went great. I was checked in and went into surgery on time. The staff was very friendly and attentive in the front office, pre and post surgery. Though I was nervous when I got to the surgical center, the anesthetist nurse addressed my concerns and I was very relaxed going into surgery. Dr Desai did an outstanding job, pain free. The post op checkup was the following day and the staff and Dr Easley were friendly,caring, and answered all of my questions. My vision had already improved to 20/20. The experience at the Alpharetta Office was outstanding from beginning to end. The receptionists were welcoming, friendly and efficient. They put customer first which is rare these days. The nurses in the surgery area were caring, accommodating and professional in particularly Eileen. The anesthesiologist, April was fantastic. I did not get a bruise on the IV site, great. Finally, there are no words to describe Dr. Desai's caring, knowledge and overall expertise. He was just what I had always imagined a doctor to be but not found. Worthless. Tried to gouge me for paying full price for a situation where my son simply fell asleep with contacts and they claimed it was because of it being a pre-existing condition. What malarky.
