My glasses needed a screw to attach one arm of the frame back to the rest of the frame. I have no other way to explain it. I had a minimal wait time and the repair occurred quickly. I was in and out. This was my first visit to the Roswell eye clinic, and I had a very positive experience. I was looking for a new eye doctor, and my family recommended this clinic. When I initially walked inside, I was immediately impressed. I was greeted by multiple people at the front desk, and I appreciated their use of technology in allowing me to confirm my information and sign the acknowledgment forms on a computer screen. April, the Certified Paraoptometric (CPO), took me to the examination room, and performed visual acuity tests. She also used the Optical coherence tomography (OCT) to take images of the retina or back of the eye. I valued the way she took the time to explain each step in the process. Afterwards, Dr. Flanagan, the optometrist, came into the room and finished the eye exam. She was professional as well as personable, and she took the time to answer all of my questions. The next step in the process was sitting down with Chad, the optician, to review eyewear options and select frames. When I had questions about the charges, and what my benefits covered, he provided all of the details related to the frames, the lenses, and all of the various options. The final step in the process was checking out and providing payment. Yolanda, the front desk manager, was friendly, and she offered me the opportunity of scheduling my next appointment before I departed. After leaving the clinic, I received emails with a post visit survey, as well as a reminder of my next appointment date. I would definitely recommend the Roswell eye clinic to others, and I look forward to my future visits. read more

They were knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and had me out in under 1 hour. My family's experience for eye exams has been great. They even discovered an issue that we had been unaware of for years even though we'd been seeing an eye surgeon since he was 6 months old. He's now 20 years old, away at college and had his last exam in 2024. His glasses fell off in the lake this past weekend so we called to get a copy of his script so he could risk getting a replacement pair. they sent the prescription with NO doctor signature (we all know it was signed in 2024), and in big black marker is written EXPIRED. the law in Georgia is 2 years, but Roswell Eye Clinic expires them after 1 year. It has the date of the exam and their expiration date, but without a signature, it's invalid even if the eyeglasses store recognizes it within 2 years. So this college student is stuck nearly 4 hours from home and over an hour from any decent ophthalmologists, can't see to drive and no way to resolve. We thought he was good to go for the school year. We loved REC so he planned to go back in 2026. They've lost 2 customers and countless others because I've referred so many people there. read more

BEWARE! I made an appointment to have an eye exam at Roswell eye clinic, and even though I called them the day of my appointment and alerted them to the fact that I had travel problems beyond my control due to delayed flights, they were not willing to work with me and wanted to charge me a late fee even though it was my first offense. That tells me they are all about money and too by the book where there is no empathy that sometimes situations are beyond someone's control. Very disappointed and I will be finding a different eye clinic. Hope this helps someone. read more

I've been coming here for years but will take mine and my families business elsewhere. How the front desk treats customers - all customers - matters. Horrible. Just Horrible. Expect to be upsold by "eye doctors" that are sleezy car salesmen in disguise. If the VA sent you here, don't go! You won't get glasses and you'll get a "free" exam with 3 people begging you to buy a kit to clean your eyes for lots of money and for $600 the doctor will fix your dry eyes that you get diagnosed with. Also, if the VA sent you here, they refuse to accept the insurance and send you to the billing counter to pay for your exam. That's what they did to me read more

Not only do they try to scam people out of their money but they discriminate and price based on race apparently. I watched as they charged a white woman and her daughter less than they charged me for the same services. Short of being nearsighted came into this place with perfectly healthy eyes and Now I'm worried about if I have to see another doctor because my eyes are messed up not only did they give me EXPIRED contacts they rush the entire process to where my eyes ended up irritated bloodshot and probably infected at this point. I was recently pleased with the service that I received from Roswell Eye Clinic. I was particularly impressed with the service and support given by Greg Hendrix on my eye glasses. Also, I have seen several of the doctors who have treated me for eye infections, who resolved the problem and gave me great instructions for preventing the problem from reoccurring. During their exam they used some impressive technology, and went over scans of my eyes reviewing the health of the optic nerve and that I currently don't have issues with macular degeneration. If you're looking for a new eye doctor/glasses I recommend you try Roswell Eye Clinic. My experiences over the past several years have made me confident I am working with the right people. read more

I've been going to the Roswell Eye Clinic for 20 years. I can't say enough about their outstanding care of their clients. They keep up with technology, and they are caring from Katlynn, who answers the phone all day and remains the same person at 9 a.m. that she is at 6 p.m., to Greg, an optician, a legend, who is Mr. Awesome, to Dr. Scott who is concerned about my dry macular degeneration and reminds me to wear my glasses with the blue light blocker while I'm on the computer for 50+ hours a week and in addition is unflappable (take my word for it), to Daniel the super friendly, intelligent, office manager and Optician, and finally, a shout out to Dr. Sharon who is maybe semi-retired and competently directing traffic in the 'front of the house.' Dr Sprouse was Very professional and very nice but the facility has very poor standards for cleanliness. The water fountain in the front lobby emits mold. I've had several cups of water and 9/10 times there is mold found inside my water. One out of two bathrooms is also consistently out of order. There is usually 5-6 people waiting in a line just to use the restroom. When you finally get to use the restroom there is no toilet paper or paper towels available so you have to air dry your hands and source scraps of toilet paper to clean yourself. read more

I have been using Roswell Eye Clinic for several years and have been satisfied with the service I have been provided. Then, this year I asked for my prescription so that I could purchase additional glasses from another establishment. It's worth noting that I did buy glasses from them this year and have either bought glasses or spent several hundred dollars updating my script. They refused to give me the information needed to buy glasses elsewhere claiming they did not have it. I purchased glasses from them not thirty minutes prior. This is predatory behavior especially since the least expensive glasses they have are well over $200. I'm sad that I will need to find a new Eye practice but I can't support a business that would hold my medical data hostage. read more

Went in for a normal eye exam and that was fine, except when I had mentioned to the doctor that I had a bit of dry eyes and another concern I can't even remember now, he just said we'll have someone come talk to you about some "products" you can use to help with those. No education on what might be causing the issue or anything. When the person came to talk about the "products", she didn't know anything about them other than what they were and what they cost. No samples. No suggestions of other products I could use or methods to avoid using expensive eye drops and all. Just pushing very pricey "products". Now, because I asked about Lasik during my exam to see if they thought I might be a candidate, they didn't give me a direct answer and just asked me to come back in a few days later when their main doctor could see me. Fast forward to that visit which was almost two hours long when the doctor wanted to determine the prescription of my current contacts which consisted of 30 minutes of him making measurements and my just sitting there waiting, instead of just contacting my previous eye doctor to get my prescription. So, not happy at them wasting my time. Then the doctor proceeds to give me a long pitch on why I shouldn't get Lasik because he used to work for one of the big Lasik companies and badmouthed the procedure with a totally condescending viewpoint and not at all an unbiased review of the science. He then proceeds to explain why I should get sclaral lenses from him instead, basically because he can make a fortune charging my insurance for these contact lenses that don't really fix my experience of vision correction and cost around $2300/yr. At this point, I tried to leave as quickly as possible, but I still needed an updated set of RGP contact lenses. They then walk me out to the waiting room (mind you, without my contacts so I am basically blind) and I have to wait for someone else to come talk to me about what to order. When I had questions for that guy, they took me into another room and made me wait some more before someone else came in with a quote for the new contact lenses, at which point I about had a heart attack when they said they would cost around $500. I have been used to paying around $20-30 on top of insurance covering somewhere between $150-200, so this seemed absolutely absurd. Maybe their lenses are significantly better than every eye doctor I've been to before, but I doubt it. When I said as much, the guy left, made me wait a good while longer, and then came back and offered a much lower price but I had definitely already decided that I wanted nothing to do with them. Overall, I felt like they wasted a ton of my time, were constantly pushing expensive add-ons, and had no concern for my experience either as a patient in their office or for my experience of vision correction in my life. I will never go back here and I would strongly advise looking elsewhere... Good eye doctors who actually care about you and not just lining their pockets exist, just not here. read more

FRAUD ALERT!!! This company STOLE MY MONEY and kicked me out of their facility with only a third or what I paid for! I have a RECIPT PROVING WHAT I ORDERED AND PAID FOR! My issue with them is how insanely expensive they are. My eye exam, contact exam and contacts were a total of $857.00. Just the PLAIN contacts were $455.00. I paid $200 for contacts in Austin Tx just 18 months ago and my sister got bifocal contacts elsewhere for $320.00. They also charge 2 fees for the exam, one as eye exam, one as contact exam for a total of $363.00. I occasionally need to go to a retina specialist and don't pay this much for an exam. Call around and don't make the same (very expensive) mistake as me. read more

I took my mom, the patient, in for an eye exam and potential glasses purchase yesterday. We were 30 min early and took us immediately any way. Channel, the initial eye exam assistant, led with an enormous bright smile and a kind manner, being very gentle with my mom and understanding as my mom is hard of hearing. Then Dr. Sarah Flanagan came for the eye exam was just delightful and pleasantly surprising. She even laughed hardily at the jokes my mom told. Last, we worked with Greg Hendrix, L.D.O., Licensed Dispensing Optician. We were more shopping than buying but he made an amazing case for a sale and boy, my mom and I are still thanking about his breakdown and delivery. We may still go back. The quality of products and time they spent with me for a perfect fit is fantastic. I love my glasses.

Was told 7-10days for glasses to be ready. It took well over 3 weeks and when I got a text saying my glasses were ready it's a process for that too. I came in the office for a refund was informed I would get a call from the office manager and never heard back from anyone. Today I was told I can't get refund because the glasses were here now. They set the expectation high in the beginning then don't deliver towards the end. They make sure to collect the money in the beginning and become less engaging during the process. Definitely not happy and not be returning. read more

If you want an eye doctor who is acutely aware of your lifestyle to a point he asks-"Can we do away with your lash extensions to help your dry eye?"..then by all means..come here! If you end up with Greg, you will get someone who will tell you if your frame selection looks good or "let's see what else we have" and will work with you for as long as it takes. This is the by far the worst eye clinic in Georgia I went in for my appointment and waited 45 minutes to be seen because there employee didn't put my birthday in correctly for the insurance and they treated me like an outcast because I'm black !!!! the people at the front desk are about as helpful and friendly as an insurance adjuster. The are rude and unhelpful. All they can do is ask for your name and hand you a pager. All I went in for Was grab new glasses, couldcthe girls help me NO! I got a pager to sit there for 40 min and wait for reps. ( I walked out told them there customer service sucks. I will go grab my glasses anothef day and it will be my last visit to the overpriced eye factory. With this said I do like the people who sell the glasses- they are helpful and nice- FYI the most important job in any office is the front desk, And in 7 years I have been going here, I can tell you not once have they had a friendly person at the front. on another note it's time end your mask mandate at Roswell liberal eye care. I appreciate that the pandemic has resulted in necessary delays, and this is one reason why I did not rate lower. I got glasses 5 years ago and even though they were the most expensive eye clinic, they were excellent. I went there for new glasses and the attention to what I wanted haa really decreased. When you look at pricing, they have expensive "extras" at high prices. Then, after paying they sent me anirher $100 bill with no explaination. read more

I have waited 3 weeks for the perscription to be filled - only to find out the glasses were in but I was not notified. The last time this happened they checked my email and phone number which were correct. This time it's "Oh I am so sorry!"
