They are all amazing, and it's easy to get into right away to see one of them. Dr. Lawson (who I have seen the most) is incredibly knowledgeable. Anytime I come in with a problem Dr. Lawson is able to pinpoint exactly what is wrong and fix it. I would never trust another chiropractor. He doesn't just crack unnecessary joints, and he tells you exactly why he is doing what he is doing. On my last visit, I had asked if I could be squeezed in if possible as I was leaving the country for 10 days and my jaw had seized up completely. Last time this had happened was due to stress, and it had lasted a week. I'm unable to eat when this happens as I can hardly move my jaw. Dr. Lawson saw me within 2 hours of me calling. He did enough work on my jaw and gave me exercises so that my jaw was better within 5 hours and hasn't seized up since. I was also able to eat on my vacation and enjoy my time off :)

I had to use up my benefits somehow, and considering I have terrible posture and spend much to much…read moretime online, I figured that the best way to work it out was to get a massage! It turns out it was a good thing I did. In all honesty, my requirements for massage were that they were registered, and that the place was convenient. A friend passing by recommended this place, and I am so, so grateful that he did. It is very clinical, clean and professional - it looks good, and that is important. It looks healthful, but it was still a little relaxing. My back is apparently like a brick - while I didn't quite know that, I did know that I had a lot of tension. Quite a lot. I told Sarah (who is really nice and very good - excellent mix) to go hard, and she went hard: this was no relaxing girly massage (although I 'm sure you can get those too). Just to clarify: I specifically asked for her to go hard, and to ignore me if I squealed. My back is STILL sore, but in that delicious way where you can feel that it is looser and absent of knots. I'm going back in a week and I'm a little scared, but I'm looking forward to feeling completely light and loose again. I've gotten through layer 1... Anyways, I'm looking forward to trying out a number of their services! They offer chiropractic, acupuncture and naturopathic sessions, and I'm eager to see what I can do to make my body work for me...

I have been going to THE Downtown Sports Clinic (Bow Valley) for 8+ years. As an engineer working…read moredowntown, it's extremely accessible during the work day and I know I'm always in good hands. The physio therapists (Siobhan, Lori, and Jennifer) have all helped me out! I'm impressed that they are up to date on new techniques - I've even had acupuncture as a treatment for my twisted ankle. They are all professional, and great at listening to address the specific issue. What I like the most is that they're great at focusing on improving the issue, but also suggesting preventative maintenance and/or strengthening exercises so that the injury will not happen again. Jennifer was especially helpful after my motor vehicle accident and assisted with all the paperwork to ensure I could focus on getting better. I also received massage therapy treatment at the same time. It was great to have the physio and massage therapists at one clinic who were both familiar with my situation. I currently see Michelle for massage therapy - she is punctual and always inquires how much pressure to apply. The admin staff are wonderful at accommodating my schedule when I call in for an appointment - thanks! THE Downtown Sport Clinic is excellent, as they really care about their patients. The staff are personable, professional, and I would recommend them.

I like that these guys work as a team and consult each other regularly. Andrew has been checking with the Physios for a while to make sure things are on track and going how they should and referring me back as needed. The reception staff is also amazing. I have a challenging schedule and the girls never complain, they just cheerfully find a time that works and they get it done! It's also incredibly convenient being in the downtown core.

I started seening David after a car accident anout 2.5 years ago. I have multiple incurable…read moredisabilities (EDS, pOTS, Fibromyalgia and a comprised left artirial artery in my neck) and he was the first medical person I'd ever met that knew anything about my body, my conditions or my pain. Things were great to start with. He seemed compassionate, insightful and like he genuinely cared. Then things started to slip. I wasn't getting a lot better and my chronic conditions have me in excruciating pain most days. I guess it was too much for him and he wasn't interested in helping make my quality of life any better. After about 6 months of seeing him, David started telling me to kill myself. He described different ways to do it that would be untraceable (rhubarb leaf tea) and to make sure to not tell my legal team what he was suggesting. I continued to see David because his adjustments helped keep me functioning and there aren't a lot of people/specialists around that know about and can work with, my conditions. When I saw David last in January 2024 he sat down and told me I needed to contact MAID. So that after my best friends wedding next year, I can cash in my chips. What kind of medical professional consistently tells you to kill yourself and doesn't even want to try to improve their patients quality of life? David made that conversation completely about him and how 'horrible' he supposedly felt saying it. Hearing your specialist constantly telling you to kill yourself, is distressing to say the least and makes your brain go in a million different directions. That day he did it with a 'witness' in the room. I didnt know how to react im the moment, so I tried to comfort him, a conversation we had even had before. This time he took my words out of context, spun them around and convinced himself that I'm inappropriate, said things i didn't say and that I am 100% the wrong. Now refuses to see me, hasnt actually said a word to me and relies on my legal team to relay messages. I didn't even know what his problem was for over a month. When i did go in because my ribs popped, he wouldnt speak to me and threw me around like a random sack of bones. It hurt, made me feel very sick and my body was in worse shape for it. Something is absolutely messed up in this man's head. I can no longer, in good conscience recommend David Volpi or Strive therapy to anyone that needs anything more than the most basic of care.
