This mall is not my go-to, but I do like to stop here occasionally. During my recent visit, I shopped at some of the stores. The stores had a decent selection of merchandise, and I found some items to purchase. The parking lot had a sufficient number of spaces for vehicles and seemed to be safe.

There's a bunch of other restaurants as well, coffee shops, miscellaneous retailers and a Walmart (not a Supercenter). You could easily spend a few hours here and do some damage to your wallet. It's always been spread out enough where there always seems to be plenty of parking (holiday shopping may be different). It may even be on the bus line from the city. If you're looking for a traditional indoor mall, Pittsburgh Mills isn't far up Rt. 28, but like many malls, it's seen better days.

During my visit, I thought that the buildings were in good condition and that the parking lot had many available spaces for my vehicle. I could not shop for clothing, shoes, or accessories here, but I did shop for household goods at the Dollar Tree, and my husband browsed in the comic store. Overall, this shopping center is an asset to the community of West View, but I would not recommend that out-of-town people make a trip to shop here.

Its restaurants include Panera, Panda Express restaurant, Wendy's, and Denny's. The mall also has a Bank of America and a MedExpress. The mall is located on the easily accessible McKnight Road. The parking lot has lots of parking spaces. The area is safe and clean. I do not visit all of the businesses here, but I do regularly shop at the Dollar Tree, and each year I buy some furniture from Bob's and Ashley. The merchandise is an excellent value for the quality. I also drop off my donated clothes and house goods at the Goodwill.

Examples of current tenants are Monte Cello's restaurant, Rotten Apples (computer repair), Completely Polished (nail salon), Mainstream Boutique (women's clothing) Embroidery and More LLC, Parry Custom Homes, Wing Kings, Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids, Minuteman Press (business printing), Quest Diagnostics (phlebotomy and labs), Salon Centric, Treasure Hunt (jewelry), and Peace Love and Little Donuts. The parking lot of this mall is not large, but during my recent visit, I easily found a spot for my vehicle. The grounds were clean, and the area seemed to be safe. The mall is located right near Perry Highway, so it gets much traffic. I am giving a neutral rating in my review, because I do not plan to frequently return to the businesses in this mall in the future.

I shop at this mall only if I am passing through the area. The parking lot has an adequate number of spaces. This mall is not fancy, and it has limited options for shopping for clothing and groceries (the other mall across the street contains those types of businesses). I consider this mall to be more of an occasional destination for residents who live in the Fox Chapel area.

South Hills Village is a nice indoor shopping mall that has moderately priced stores. About 130…read morestores sell a large variety of merchandise: clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, sports goods, electronics, furniture, and more. Anchor stores include Macy's, Von Maur, Dick's, and Barnes and Noble. A movie theater is a walk across the large parking lot. About 21 casual restaurants sell foods and beverages. I have shopped at this mall off and on for over 10 years. I shop mostly for women's clothing, foods, and gifts. During my most recent shopping trip, I felt happy with the condition of the mall and with the selection and prices of merchandise. Overall, I think that South Hills Village is one of the best malls in the Pittsburgh area.

Restaurants include Starbucks, Alladin's Eatery, Italian Village Pizza, Bruegger's Bagels, and Chipotle. This mall does not have the types of stores for buying groceries or clothing, but I do occasionally visit this mall to eat at a restaurant or to make a small purchase. McKnight Road has a lot of traffic, but I can fairly easily pull into and out of the parking lot for this mall. The parking lot is not large, but I have always been able to find a parking spot when I needed one. The exteriors of the buildings were renovated a couple of years ago, so they now look much nicer.

Food you have Chick Fil A (with a very efficient drive through system), Red Robin, Bob Evans, Chilis, Panera, Coldstone Creamery and more! For retail, there are giants like Walmart, Five Below, Ross but there are also smaller (but still chain) businesses like Lane Bryant, Game Stop, Rally House and Carters. There are several businesses that are in a "loop" in that there are blockages to getting onto the main "road" of the plaza. But, overall, the parking lots are well maintained and well marked. The one down side is that because it is so large, it can be hard to navigate. If you are looking for a specific business, GPS might take you to the vicinity and not the actual business.

Restaurants include Dunkin', Chick-fil-A, Red Robin, Arby's, Bob Evans, Chili's, Panera Bread, Starbucks, etcetera. I recently shopped at some of the stores. I easily found parking spaces for my vehicle near the stores, and I liked the stores' selection of merchandise. I think that this shopping center is a very good one for people who live nearby.
