I transferred here from another more expensive school just a fee weeks ago and I'm already 1000%…read moredone with this place. Yes it's cheaper, but you get what you pay for I guess. First I spent an entire day calling their IT department JUST trying to log into the website. Most of the people I spoke with acted like it was a huge imposition for them to have to do their job. I finally spoke to a man named Brad who was extremely helpful. I guess the previous 4 people I spoke with didn't think it was necessary to tell me about the verification app I needed to download or that I needed to set up something called a "FERPA Identifier Code". But that was just for one website. You need to go to another website for your courses. And if you have any e-core courses those need to be done on a third website. But before I could do any of that I had to get my advisor to register me for classes. It turns out they won't accept most of my transfer credits for what they are. It doesn't matter that I took Intro to Literature because that's clearly so much different than Intro to AMERICAN Literature. Now comes accessing classes. Two different websites with two different logins requires more calls to IT because of course it does. Now I learn that since "Gordon State doesn't charge additional fees for online classes" I will have to pay additional fees for Proctored exams every single time. Except they DO charge additional fees for online classes. otherwise, what is that $287 Online Course Fee on my bill? Proctored exams require a download of a new Web Browser. Fine. They will also require me to have 2 photo IDs, be in an empty room with a door, and to have a mirror set up to the Proctor can see that nobody else is in the room. This school is not even worth all that effort honestly. I emailed my advisor to ask about my financial aid refund so I can buy my textbooks and she responds by telling me when the course drop deadline is. wtf? that's not what I asked. I have to pay for an access code for a third website to access one of the courses that I am already paying for. So I need my refund to do this. Only classes have already started so I guess I'm just screwed? Most of the classes do not require textbooks. That means you get to read all material on a screen so if you get migraines from reading on a screen you're out of luck. This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding the bullshit ive been dealing with at this place. I can't imagine being a student that relies on living on campus. That must be a whole other shitshow. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. I will be transferring to any other school after this semester because it's not worth the aggravation.

They travel about 35 min a few times a week and do the rest online. Gordon campus is so very pretty and the staff has been so nice, funny and accommodating. I hate to see all of the negative comments because it's a super sweet college.

We traveled from California to visit relatives in Georgia and we went out of our way to attend this congregation and it was well worth the anticipation. Service is on Saturday morning at 10:10
