The light pastry decorated with your choice of toppings gives you a number of different combinations for your dessert. They also sell other items like a hot dog wrapped in the pastry. Sometimes there can be a line at the food cart but I've been pretty lucky that if a line was started I was usually at the front. All the different stands I've been to have had friendly and fast service: sometimes you can strike up interesting conversations while waiting for your food. Since Beaver Tails Is sold at food stands there is usually seating areas close by to enjoy your delicacy.

This Sobey is located up on the hill close to Costco. I was surprise this Sobey is called 'Extra' and was not sure why. When I walked in i was pleasantly surprise to see how big this Sobey really was! They have a huge variety of food! There are a good mix of asian selection like sushi, noodle soup, and fried asian dishes. On the western side, they got chicken, ribs, beef, pot pies, Salad, soup, pizza and most of them are hot and ready! The cool part of this place is that they have courses for Cooking! they have a nice set up for a class room setting of 15 people or more. Today I felt like their chicken, hot meal, and salad meal for $18.99. Not a bad deal, it will definitely feed 3 people comfortably. For the hot meal i got their mac & cheese and slaw for the salad. Mac & cheese was very creamy and good. Chicken was perfectly done. Slaw was refreshing.

I had plans for the evening but my husband was considering going back into town (a fairly short distance from port) to grab us another round. If you love donuts like we do, get there quickly.
