Don't even think about it... Just book and pay the membership. Dr. Farag and his staff are amazing…read moreand finding out your results right away is priceless. So organized and detailed and if Dr Farag sees something he does an ultra sound right there and discusses the results with you right after and make a plan. I see so many recent reviews griping about the fee. Have you looked at your insurance bills with other providers after finding a potential problem. I bet you will find the fee to be the same after you pay for co-pays, parking and all the additional fees. Or instead you can go to Northwestern where they tack on fees left and right and make you wait for weeks for your results and then multiple appointments later plus the stress of waiting and you've already likely paid the $390 anyway in co-pays and fees cause insurance is BS. I started at NW and had months of stress and appointments. Never again. The piece of mind is worth every penny. Do it. Trust me.

He provides a calm atmosphere, excellent x-ray technicians, and his immediate attention to my current test results. I am guessing all that must have created a lot of new patients. I am now 65 and can't afford the $390 concierge fee and am looking for a new facility for my mamogram. I am disappointed that he is my third Northwestern Memorial doctor that has skipped down the road to become a concierge doctor. I have other specialists at University of Chicago Med, they never do this, only the NWM doctors go this route. I know he is the best and hires the best x-ray techs (never cause me pain). By reducing his patient population, I seriously hope he is able to help breast cancer patients that need constant imaging.

Do not go to Dr. Gale. I have never felt so dismissed and ridiculed…read more She gave me a prescription and it gave me horrible side effects. That's not her fault I totally get that so, I went back in asking her to give me another kind. If you do a quick research, or have lived long enough, you know certain medications don't work well for some and very well for others. When I expressed my concerns, Dr. Gale just told me to stop taking it and there is nothing else she could give me because what she gave me was the lowest dose available on the market. I expressed that I have taken something else in the past that did not give me these side effects I am experiencing. She kept saying she doesn't feel comfortable because my side effects were so extreme etc. Then she went ok fine I can give you this different medication. I said wait, that's the name of the medication you gave me. She said no that's not what I have for you on the intake form. From that point, she just kept making up excuses for how she didn't make a mistake and gave me a prescription she didn't intend to give. And in the end she goes, well what do you want me to do. Which medicine do you want? What kind of a doctor asks a patient to give them a medical advice on how to treat their patients? A horrible kind. The kind who doesn't care to bring in her patients intake forms to check and take notes. So long story short, my experience with her was absolutely terrible. All the other people who worked there were fine. This review is strictly for Dr. Gale. Please save your time and go see someone else.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience today. I called the office to request copies of…read morereceipts I need for a tax-related appointment, and I was told they would not release them unless I set up a payment plan. I explained that I am more than willing to pay my balance and even offered to set up a manageable plan (around $10/month), similar to arrangements I currently have with other medical providers after giving birth. As many people know, postpartum medical bills come in continuously for months, and it can take time to catch up financially. Despite this, I was told the only option was to pay off the balance within three months, which is simply not feasible for me right now. I tried to explain my situation, but there was no flexibility or willingness to work with me. It feels incredibly frustrating that receipts for charges I've already paid (with my own credit card) are being withheld under these circumstances. I've been a patient of Dr. Kelsey for years and have always had positive experiences with him, which makes this situation even more disappointing.

She doesn't make me feel rushed, which is always a concern when seeing a doctor. I've gotten lucky there with medical providers. She's no-nonsense, funny, pragmatic, and approachable; I don't feel embarrassed or like I'm asking a stupid question. My primary care nurse had suggested Dr. McNair for years before I finally visited her, and the first time I did I was annoyed with myself for giving in to my fear (I don't relish visiting doctors) and not going to see her earlier. Here's hoping I need to see her for obstetrics care soon. My biggest complaint isn't about her or her care, but is how practically impossible it is to get an appointment with her. I mean that's a testament to how beloved a physician she is, which does inspire continued confidence. I had to try for four months before I finally was able to get in--and that's as a returning patient. That is incredibly nerve-wracking. Don't get confused by the elevators. You select your floor outside the elevator car, then hop in the elevator that it tells you to use. There's parking in the building, though it's pretty tricky because it's also a residential building (though those spaces are somewhat set apart), and the vast majority of the parking spaces say they're for small vehicles only. My car is a small SUV and I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable parking it in one of them. There is parking elsewhere--this is an extensive medical campus, so there are other parking garages as well as the potential for street parking. The advantage of parking in the garage, though, is that they validate. I don't know how much street parking is so it's quite possibly less expensive, but it's Streeterville, so you never know.
