That heady combination of steamed dimsum, smoked meat, with that herby undertone that makes me want to get a bowl of noodles of a plate of siumai every single time. There's simply nothing like it here in Manila, not even in Binondo (Although the back of the New World Hotel kinda sort of smelled like it back in the early 00s, and I don't know why). Simply put, every time I caught that scent I knew I was going to have a great meal. And that's exactly what I got at Eat Well. Basic Hong Kong staples done simply, done with a bit of flair, done extremely right. We made the suggestion that they change their tea pots into copper or something else that will retain heat.
