The renovations that they've done at NP pool, especially the kiddie pool, are awesome. They added a splash pad, sloped pool, lots of umbrellas, chairs and more. The concession stand food is pretty typical/average. They accept cash and card for your entry fee. Definitely a great public pool! read more

North Park Swimming Pool was once considered one of the largest swimming pools in America when it opened in 1937. It's size is approximately 50 meters by 100 ft. It ranges from 2 ft to 15 ft deep. Over the last 80+ years, the county has kept the pool in great condition. All generations of my family have swam here. Today, entry for adults is $6 and children and senior citizens get in cheaper. You can swim laps, rent tubes, go down the slide, jump off diving board, complete the water obstacle course, or play in the kids splash pad. There is also a concession stand with standard food. One thing to note is there are no chairs at this pool. So bring a towel, blanket or your own chair. No need to worry about parking, there is a huge lot. read more

I LOVE North Park pool!! The only reason I couldn't give if the full 5 stars is unfortunately just cuz of parts of the bottom of the pool, Ive been going to North park pool for YEARS and years and there are a few places where chunks of the bottom are "potholey" like and yea who wants to cut their toe right? Its not everywhere and its def a big enuff pool u can avoid but I mean come on you just renovated and added stuff like the splash pad that what u cant re-concrete the pool off season or whatever, or atleast patch the crappy parts..CORRECTLY..not just fill and leave it crappy n lumpy..lol. And speaking of updating...man oh man the inside of the consession stand need a little TLC as well..I know its been there awhile and its historic and so kn but if they did something to those parts I think it would make it THE POOL above all others!Even if it already is to me! One of the best things about North Park is the prices, for being as large and having ALLLLL the xtra things they have they haven't WAY upped their prices like other pools that just rob you like CRANBERRY Pool..if you've ever gone their hey its a cool pool but I dunno bout you paying 16DOLLARS,yup u didnt read wrong,16DOLLARS for a child or adult its the same unless they r under 2,o so kind of them huh? But for real who do they think they are sandcastle or something???Northpark has JUST as many if not better Xtra amenities as cranberry and they haven't changed their prices to something RIDICULOUS. You CANT BEAT IT!!!, for the size and everything they have...PLENTY of space in the grass and so on I just cant thank them enuff for not being money grabbing robbing/taking advantage of ppl's wallets like other places. I mean it's legendary for its size and I LOVE that,u never have to worry that u cant find an open area to swim around opposed to other places if its busy your body to body in the water...and who wants that?not me!! U dnt have to worry bout it at North park!!! And for the size it is so nice and clean, u dont have leaves and bugs floating like in others! So to sum up, if you like swimming in a MASSIVE pool or take the kiddies to a fun swim place they have plenty of room to enjoy themselves and a big splash park area next to their massive kiddypool as well and waterslide and a ninja obstacle course....and on and on..amd ALLLLL of that stuff at a steal of a price compared to other pools in areas...they will forever be my favorite pool to take my kid to, THATS FOR SURE!!! read more
