Recently took my car here to have the leather on the drivers seat repaired. They replaced the leather to a perfect match and I was able to the car up later that afternoon. The leather on the front seats of my wife's 2010 Lexus was starting to crack and split, so it was time for repairs. I took it to an upholstery business in Marietta for an estimate and they wouldn't even bother to return phone calls or messages (check my review of them). Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find the highly-rated North Point Auto Upholstery. Took the car over to them and Zulman (sp?), the father part of the father-son owners, was very kind and helpful. We used color swatches to find the perfect match. He gave me what I considered to be a very competitive and fair quote. He ordered the leather and called me a couple of days later to tell me the leather had arrived. I dropped the car off and it was ready the next day. I got home and noticed there was a lump in the left seat. I called Raphael, the son side of the team, and he was exceptionally nice. He said to bring it back and they'd make it right, which they did. The seats look fantastic! They are every bit as good as when the car left the factory. I am extremely pleased with the way things went. I wouldn't hesitate to use North Point again. Be aware that they don't accept credit cards - only cash or a check is accepted. Two thumbs up for this business! They sell cars as well here. I flew to Atlanta to purchase a car they lied about. It is the 2006 Lexus Sc430 they have for sale. I checked the VIN with Lexus and saw they recommended the timing belt and water pump, rack and pinion, transmission gasket, valve cover gasket and spark plugs be done immediately. I specifically asked them if the rack and pinion was leaking before I got a cashier's check and booked a flight because I'd be driving it back to DC. They said, "No it's not leaking at all. You know the dealer, they tell you it needs everything." I fly down the next day, catch an Uber there all to see that the car has been in at least one minor accident evident by the terrible paint job on the rear bumper and the damage to the front bumper and rack and pinion which was leaking HORRIBLY. The entire boot is torn and covered in power steering fluid and the steering wheel shakes violently at 60 mph. One of the guys there, says, "It'll be fine. My coworker has been driving it around. It'll make it fine." These guys showed complete disrespect of life and just wanted a sale and didn't think twice to commit fraud to do it. I have a wife and kids and this guy didn't hesitate to lie to me about the leaks to get me to fly down and the tried to convince me to drive this death trap all the way to DC. They also knew about the issues because they told me someone else came in with the printout from Lexus and they told me that the repair was only $600 to fix once I get there and called them out about it. I called two dealers and was quote $2,000. Do not support these guys. And if you must shop with them DO NOT TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE. Only through text, email, or messenger so you can have it all in writing. UPDATE: They have since reached out and instead of trying to make the situation right by offering the car at a lower price or compensating me the money I'm out for flying down and having to catch 3 Rideshares; they are saying that they are going to sue me for leaving a negative review. I reached Rafael, the owner & operator, in regards to my nissan titan driver seat being torn due to getting in and out of the truck over a span of three years- I had thought I needed a whole new seat it was so bad. I had received other quotes from other competitors whom were offering the same service description- repairing just the upholstery and matching the fabric -, but MUCH more expensive... within 2 days of my initial phone call, it was repaired with matching fabric, material and very well-upholstered. Great find! My passenger power seat quit working / completely stuck all the way forward. I dropped by and asked if they would take a look. I bought a new switch at Napa just needed it installed. A previous upholstery business told me the seat had to be removed , would take a couple hours, blah blah, $$$. Much better experience at Northpoint. I didn't get the guys name but he took a quick look and said he could fix it in 20 minutes....and he did! Great price too. Great team, thanks guys! read more

This was such a terrible experience that I want to warn others to stay away! We had them re-upholster front seats in my husband's truck. What they actually did was order some cover from California that does not look good at all. I knew they were ordering something but I though they would custom fit it to our seats. That did not happen. When I told them that I was not satisfied all they could say was that they know how to upholster and that was the best they could do. They never called to let us know it was ready as we had requested and they drove our truck 18 miles while they had it. When I asked them where they had driven the truck they denied driving it. I always take a photo of the odometer when I leave my vehicles for service/repair. Worst experience ever. Stay away from this place... read more

I heard of this place by referral from some other body shop that doesn't do upholstery, and I was not disappointed! The two gentlemen (father and son) who run the shop were very cooperative, even after the convertible roof I'd bought arrived with broken glass and we had to wait for a replacement to be shipped. The new installation looks FANTASTIC, and I think they may have done some extra work to reinforce and protect parts of the new roof so they don't rip in the same place as the old one did. They had a bunch of older cars in the shop, including a 1950s second-gen Ford F-100 and an old MG. There were also some newer convertibles, including a Honda S2000 that they own (same model as mine). I saw some of the work they were doing to the other cars, and it all looked flawless. I would recommend these guys just from having a look around their shop! read more

A Hidden Gem My 2006 Honda S2000 had been showing signs of needing a new top, so I began researching auto upholstery and top replacement sources in the Atlanta metro area. Purely by chance, I was referred to North Point Auto Upholstery by a used car dealer in the Roswell area. When I first visited the shop I met Zalman Niktalov the owner and I got a good vibe ( a man of few words for sure) from him as well as a good price on a top equivalent to the original. Sometimes you just have to trust your instincts and so I did. Once the top replacement got underway I met Raoul and Alex, the son and nephew of Zalman who actually did the work themselves replacing the top. This shop is definitely a family affair with the kind of dedication and hard work that has made this family owned business the success that it obviously has become over the past sixteen years. I have an eight year old Acura MDX. The driver side seat was torn down to the foam padding. Given the age I wasn't sure what could be done. I pulled into the shop and they explained that I can replace just the torn part of the seat. They would also replace the armrest covers. The price was very fair, but I was skeptical about how it would look. I wasn't sure how they could possibly match the color. They did the work the very next day. The work was excellent. If I didn't know the seat parts were replaced, I would not have known they were replaced. It was a perfect match. I have never written a yelp review before, but felt it was necessary given how great a job they did. I highly recommend them. Quick service, great prices, excellent workmanship. read more
