I brought an old Fairfield leather office chair that I paid $25 at a second hand store. I knew the brand very well, so I knew its worth (try $1,500-$3,500 easily). I saw past the ripped seat, and I thought that it would be less expensive to have the seat re-leathered than to purchase a new chair in the same brand which is true in theory; however, the price of the leather panels were far beyond what I wanted to pay for a chair that I only wanted to place into my work office space, so I didn't want to invest a lot of money. Alex helped me search through fabric swatches and I found what I thought was unique and went with my theme of traditional elegance with a touch of interesting movements in that space. Viola! Mag's had what I was looking for, and Alex gave me price that was fair. He told me I could pay when I returned and I left with his word that he would call me in a couple of weeks. True to his word, Alex called me and I dropped in to pick up my baby. I was so pleasantly surprised and pleased when I saw the beautiful new seat cushion. Alex is simply a wonderful artist with a eye for perfection because he added a little more padding to provide the right depth the seat needed to the final sewing. I almost did not recognize the cushion if it weren't for the fabric. Alex and his genius hands made this seat cushion sparkle. I was also pleasantly surprised that they brought me the left over fabric, from my re-upholstery job. It is not too much, but it is enough for me to take right back to them, and order a few small accent pillows to match the daybed. (Which I plan to do soon.) They could have discarded the fabric or made pillows to sell in their shop, and I would never have known the difference. The honesty meant a lot to me. And speaking of fabric ... they have zillions of beautiful choices, in all price ranges. They were very patient with me and I am a person who does thorough research and takes her time, before I finally make a decision. At first I was a little nervous - I couldn't find much of an online presence for Accomplix. However, I was able to find them registered with the state. Vikki was very polite and helpful when I expressed my concerns, and so I decided to hire them to do an on-site repair of a broken hutch door. Kerry and his assistant were so friendly and professional and did such an excellent job with my hutch that I knew I could trust them with my teak patio set, which they picked up and refinished at their warehouse. Unfortunately, I was unable to attach photos here - but they do not do justice to how beautiful this set now looks, thanks to the Accomplix team. I can be pretty picky, and since sewing and upholstery have been a hobby for decades, I know the difference in excellent quality materials and workmanship versus so-so. (Do not confuse them with Bob's Furniture, as they are a complete different business with no connection to Bob's Upholstery.) This is a three generation business, which was started in Marietta in 1960, and their experience and dedication to their customers is evident. Shawna and her sister and daughter have always been delightful and helpful, and kind enough to fix some things that I goofed up (or purchased poor quality at a place a few doors down from their location). They never cut corners on quality, zippers on cushions and pillows are perfectly completed, and they never over or under stuff. You will definitely see the quality here. I've seen them be extremely patient and courteous with less than delightful customers, so that makes my shopping experience more pleasant. I have recommended them to at least six friends who are also happy with their services and products, and one friend drives over from Alpharetta every time she needs something.
