There is something very special about NPCC. You can feel the presence of the Divine there. I am new to Atlanta, so visit as many as 3 church services every Sunday searching for Divine inspiration & wonderful fellow Christians (THE ONE AND ONLY RELIGION STARTED BY A PROVEN GOD!). Keep feeling myself drawn back to 3 churches, including NPCC. NPCC is unique for having a very dynamic, sincere and magnetic pastor, brilliant sermons, excellent music, a big Auditorium that is very full with lots of beautiful happy adults of all ages in the audience, even more beautiful and happy children in fun rooms with wonderful leaders built around the massive Auditorium. And a sense of the Divine in almost every child & adult I observed & had contact with. Excellent, friendly outside crew efficiently directing you to open parking spaces when arriving & safe exits following the service. (This is more unusual than a great leader). During the last 8 months, I have lived in 4 States from Wyoming (my home) to Atlanta where I luckily own some nice houses. And I will be returning here often. I have not missed at least one church service (sometimes several) every Sunday since - God spoke to me twice - in a very normal male voice that just sounded like a 40 year old friend (I think He recognized His personal intervention was the ONLY way I would have any hope of living with Him in Heaven (wherever that is...)! Until then, I may have attended a church service 3-10 times a year for Easter, Christmas... (I had His invisible presence on an invisible horse riding next to me as I grew up on huge ranches. So why did I need to attend a church?). Now I know. And when I did attend, I was driven to select special churches with good people and great Pastors/Priests! North Point is one of THE VERY BEST I have ever experienced! Attending events there, joining with good people and being inspired by Godly leadership is memorable & life changing! read more

I attended and volunteered at North Point for over 13 years. I have volunteered in leadership positions at multiple campuses. I loved NP for the first couple of years attending and then as I matured I saw things different. Andy's view point on politic or social issues change to keep congregants coming on Sunday's and tithing to the church. He has had negative press in regards to hosting a conference that is "gay affirming." I have noticed a lot of Nepotism within the organizations staff, if you related to a higher up staff member or Pastor you automatically get a job at the church even if family member is not qualified. Leadership at the church is never held accountable and if you question the leaders you get shut out completely. North Point is a great church to start your faith journey. In my opinion, I feel like North Point churches are extremely toxic . Andy Stanley's staff misses the cue to meet people where they are and discipling God's people. read more

Somebody very dear to me got me coming here awhile back, and it's been a long time since I made that trip here again. North Point has many branches around town (buckhead, Alpharetta are the 2 popular ones). This campus sits off exit 10 on 400, and there are some decent breakfast places to hit before attending. It's a massive campus and the massive parking lots WILL fill up. Best to get here early, which is what I did this AM. They have up close parking for parents that have kids daycare age, and also a shuttle that runs constantly to take you to the front. The reasons why I love this place are probably reasons others don't: - live music - large crowds - come as you are - no judging - bring your coffee in with you - child's ministries that are fun and interactive - get lost in a big crowd - Andy Stanley I came solo this AM, in search of trying to find some healing from the anger I have housed within me from losing whom I thought was my soulmate and the lies and corruption of my values and boundaries. I've taken my anger and put it out on everyone. I came broken. What I love the most about this place is that Andy is always preaching something that is affecting me at THAT time I come. Today was about anger, loneliness and fear and how those three things can even corrupt our own values. It hit me so hard, I almost cried. And at the end, they played a song about waiting for God to make a move. It's what I needed to hear, bc I was ready to lash out and corrupt my own values and do what I've done in the past. I know internally I'm broken from the love I've lost and the life I wanted with this person. I'm so happy I attended today, so that I can go into my own shell, reflect and be better at handling my anger, fear and loneliness. I don't mind being in a big crowd and not noticed. I don't like being in the spotlight but surrounded by a large group is where I feel comfortable at times. I'm giving a low score due to the fact that I didn't leave satisfied. I am hungry for knowledge! I've been trying to attend this church since I moved to the area. It looked like a big beautiful establishment that many people attend. And I wanted to be part of that. I came inside and seen soo many people. I was welcomed and they gave me a tour around the building. I was so amazed by how decorative it was. I love it! But I just didn't like the sermon. The preacher said 2-3 verses in the Bible but had a long wore out sermon about integrity. And out of all the things to relate integrity with, he decides to bring up slavery! I was so unsatisfied but the time I left. Thankfully they give out free slushies at the end.. right? read more

I'm so blessed to be part of the NPCC community. I love serving in their children's ministry, being part of my women's small group, and contributing towards the church's many nonprofit partners. My favorite time of year is "Be Rich" where we come together to donate to local nonprofits to "be rich in good deeds" (1 Timothy 6:18). Since NPCC is so large, they have the scale to provide amazing environments for all chapters of life. I'm grateful that Andy takes a loving stance on anything political. Division is our enemy, not someone across the aisle. The "Unconditional" conference this fall 2023 also looks like it'll be a great event for parents of LGBTQ+ children. Jesus taught us to love one another, and the more I come to NPCC, the better I get at that. read more

I was recently at North Point Community Church for their Catalyst Conference. The conference was such a great experience and so organized. The church building was huge! We got to walk through see the babies and kids area and it was beautiful decorated. The volunteers and members of the church was so nice and welcoming. I had my one year old daughter and often people on staff were checking in on us. My husband and I already love Andy Stanley's sermons but his church is impressive and his heart and the church h is evident. If I lived in the Atlanta area I would totally go here. I would definitely recommend this church and trying this church out. read more

I feel a little weird rating a church on Yelp, but I've had a great experience. I was invited by a coworker. Even though I grew up in a church and consider myself Christian I really had not been to church for 20 or so years. My experience of church as a kid was lots of singing, a scripture reading and a sermon that never really connected to me. Since attending here I have to say I love the music. I was even shocked to hear a techno rendition of a song one morning. As for the sermon or message I've found them to be very engaging. The series on the fundamentals of Christianity has been awesome. And today was something different. I guess you could call it a discussion with John Dickson. If you're someone that enjoys history biblical or otherwise, and learning the why of things this Sundays service would have been great for you. So this might not be the church for everyone but it has me engaged and looking forward to the next service. read more

So you've decided to turn to Yelp to find a church. And why shouldn't you? It's helped you in so many other ways -- like finding awesome things to do in Atlanta, giving great tips on restaurants, and letting you know the top 10 reasons why your car is better than MARTA. TLDR; A big christian church with a big heart. Get into a small group to feel a part of the community - you'll thank me later. WHEN AND WHERE There are actually several services on Sunday morning (and at least one on Sunday afternoons). Although this is the 'main' campus, you might want to check out one of the other campuses in the Atlanta area as well -- there might be one much closer to you than the Northpoint campus. Check their website for more information. PARKING The first thing you'll notice about this church, is that it's big. Like disneyland big. That kind of bigness comes with some interesting challenges, like "How do you get that many people in and out of the church parking lot quickly and safely?". Northpoint does it with an incredible set of parking lot volunteers and police traffic control. You'll be guided in and out of the parking lot. You'll be asked to stop to let pedestrian traffic cross. If you can deal with traffic at a Braves game, this will be a piece of cake. Just don't forget where you parked. And in case you're worried - they actually have a free shuttle from the more distant parking areas. GETTING INSIDE Find the part of the building labeled 'Main entrance' (it's close to the middle) and aim for that. If it's your first time, I highly recommend you check out the 'new visitors' area. You'll most likely get a free CD to take with you, and a quick tour. If you've got kids, you'll be shown where their classes are. Don't worry - you're under no obligation to take them there (it's more like a show and tell). Also, don't worry about this introduction preventing you from getting a good seat -- they'll set aside some good seats for you. If you're finding your own seat, it's no big deal ... you'll be handed a bulletin and you can find your own seat. THE SPACE It's a big space, but closer seating goes fast -- so if you want to find a good seat you might need to get there several minutes ahead of the service. Also, be aware there are 2 main seating areas, referred to as the 'East' and the 'West'. You'll probably notice a large stage area flanked by two large screens (to help you see the action a bit better). If you want to sit higher up, you'll notice stairs to the balcony area on one side of the space. There is a cry room for nursing mothers (just ask an usher if you're interested). This is a non-denominational church -- look around and you won't find many symbols indicating it's a Christian church on the inside. It might make some folks uncomfortable that they can't spot a gigantic crucifix or any stained glass windows. For most, it's a bit of a relief. THE MUSIC The first thing you'll notice about the service is the music. Most likely, you're not going to see a choir or hear an organ. Want a sampling of what you will hear? Check them out on iTunes. (No, I'm not kidding). If it's during the summer or a major holiday, don't be surprised if you notice some awesome rock songs mixed in. You might even think you've wandered into some kind of live concert event, with players shown on the big screens. On father's day (the first day I attended) I was delighted to wander in to 'Sweet Home Alabama' being played. If you would have told me that Ronnie Van Zant had come back and was playing that day, I would have believed you. They were that good. If you find that certain rock songs can have spiritual undertones and might be awesome in church, keep reading. Also: Please be aware that it's loud. Not "front row at a Bon Jovi concert" loud, but probably much louder than you've experienced at other churches. Northpoint has a big space and their sound system fills it very well. Normally there are about 2-3 worship songs at the beginning of each service. THE MESSAGE Generally speaking, what follows is about a 45 minute message from either the Northpoint pastor (Joel) or the senior pastor (Andy). Sometimes there are guest speakers, but it's rare. Generally speaking, they will be teaching as part of a several week series with a theme. Expect a lecture style format with a few visual aids. It'll be based in the Bible. You'll have a few takeaway points by the end. OTHER CHURCH LIFE If you can believe it, the amazing parts of this church don't actually happen on Sundays. To experience church community, get plugged in with a community group. Twice a year, the church hosts a large 'Grouplink' event. The basic idea is that you get plugged in to a small group of folks living close to you that you can 'do life' with. SUMMARY Yes, this is a big church. No, it's not for everyone. But this place attracts a lot of people for a reason -- they do a lot of things well. read more

was looking for a church since i've arrived in Georgia. Went to a few other ones before finding North Point. I was amazed at the size of this place. Knew I was in for something big when i saw the HUGE car line to get into the facility, as well as the shuttle buses bringing people in from afar. The west wing was gigantic...felt like i was in a concert. the musical group that was performing was off the chart!! they were one of the best bands i've ever heard at a church. the acoustics, the sound and their voices were all amazing! The pastor did his sermon and it was very touching. Eventhough i was told it was more of a promotional day (promoting groups), i was touched by the things they said and felt like i was drawn here. The people were amazing and friendly. they saw that i was new and took it upon themselves to introduce me as well as give me a tour of the location. I even sat down with some of them, discussed what was on my mind and explored their extensive book shop. (even buying a few books). This place is not for the person looking for a small community church, but for one who is ready to experience everything a mega church has to offer read more

I went for the first time this past Sunday. We just moved here and have been looking for a church. We really liked it. It reminded us of our church back in in San Diego (Eastlake Chuch) We felt welcomed, everyone was very nice. Our children enjoyed their service, as did we. Sadly, Andy no longer teaches the gospel--that we are saved from the guilt of our sins by God's grace, not anything we do. His messages leave you with the feeling you should "do better" in a particular area (the topic of the sermon) to be "a good person." Basically, try harder and do better. He has preached on the need for Christianity to disengage (stop quoting) from the Old Testament, and has suggested the gospels (some of New Testament books) aren't reliable--because they were written by humans, according to him. (He needs to discredit the Bible, or re-interpret it, to get away from the moral injunctions to avoid the sin of homosexual acts. The church has a large number of gay attendees and Andy has openly defended their choice to marry each other). Instead of the Bible, we should base our faith on the resurrection, he says. But how do we know about that event apart from the New Testament? The positive: Andy is very charismatic in terms of his delivery and easy to listen to. He leads seminars all the time to teach other leaders how to be like him and also experience a megachurch success. Musicians are very talented, sound is well-done, kids program is engaging; small groups, mission trips, and lots of ways to get involved. Casual dress is fine, you can get lost in the crowd, and feel free to bring your coffee in! read more

Several years ago when we would visit our gay son in the Atlanta area we would attend NPCC. This church has all of the trappings of a progressive, friendly and inclusive community. And up to a point it is... Yet, Andy Stanley's churches run right up to the LGBTQ inclusion line, and then they lose their fearlessness. This church is far more concerned with appeasing the masses of straight, white Christians than they are about being lavishly loving and affirming, you know as Jesus would be. So one can attend, contribute their time and money if they are queer, but they will never be affirmed and treated as equals with their hetero pew dwellers. Need to get there as the doors open for your service as it becomes hard to get seats together for any size group the closer to time for the service to start. Volunteer staff was amazing at getting the crowds in and out of the parking lot. Sermon was good, but short due to the time constraints. Does provide child care services during the sermon. read more

This church is the place to be if your are unsure about faith or religion. It may seem big at first but their groups and children's ministries allow a big space to serve many people. I love that the children aren't just going to be "watched" but learn on their level! Same with the student areas, they teach so the students can understand. I had a great time as Andy Stanley was there and he is always engaging and interactive with his audience. He has created a great environment here. Ok. Scott and I have been attending NPCC (North Point Community Church) in Alpharetta since November 2007. If you are not into organized religion, have walked away from the bible thumping southern baptist churches in the past, or just can't get excited singing amazing grace, then ... this church might be just what you are looking for. With parents and grandparents part of the ministry field (one of those bible thumping preachers I was referring to (grandfather) and then my parents are missionaries in Peru and Africa), I can tell you more about the bible than you ever wanted to know and frankly, more than I ever wanted to know. So I walked away to explore religions and spirituality. That was over 10 years ago. I swore I would never step in another church again (the whole organized religion thing). Well, to make a long story short, I did, back in Nov 07, and was blown away. Our first Sunday at NPCC, the first song we sang ... was Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode. Ok, that got my attention. They have a live band (yes, steel guitars, electric keyboards, full drum set, etc.), three big screens and a camera crew on stage that if you didn't know any better, you would swear you were watching MTV or VH1. Then was the sermon. I was braced to hear some BS that I heard a million times before. OMG. Andy Stanley, the pastor of NPCC, delivered a MESSAGE, not a SERMON. I was blown away when Andy said that it's ok if you don't believe everything I am telling you. Take what you do believe and work with that, everything else will come later. Wow, a preacher that doesn't demand you believe and follow the bible word for word. So, if you are sitting on the fence, or even if you are off the fence, but in a pasture far, far away, give NPCC a try. You just might be surprised as I was. Last note - ok, yes NPCC is huge, but as Falicia said in her review, they do have 3 campuses - Alpharetta, Brown's Bridge, and Buckhead. They have 3 services, 9 am, 11 am, and 12:45 pm on Sunday only. (so yes, the first Sunday I attended was at 12:45 pm, and I still got to party on Saturday night! Everyone walks in with Starbuck's coffee to ease that hangover. lol/jk) There is no Sunday night service, there is no Wednesday night service. BUT, they do have an awesome awesome awesome children's church. If you would like to go, but would prefer to have a friend to sit with, send me a "yelp". I really enjoy this church. I've only been attending for a little while but, have already connected with a bunch of young people here. Not only that, but the message is great and easily accessible to everyone. If you don't live OTP (Outside The Perimeter) you could attend Buckhead Church which is a branch of North Point. The message there is one week behind the message of North Point. North Point offers FUSION groups which are groups of singles clustered based on age or location. You get together and basically hang out and bond with each other knowing that you have a common bond in faith. The group I'm in has about 20 members who attend but 50 or so on the list. This is a great addition to this church because it's so large and this makes it so much more friendly and encouraging to know others. There are also GroupLinks and ministries for couples. This church has so much to offer, whether you are well versed in the scripture or are new to the faith. Of the friends I know who attend, we all grew up with different denominations but, find so much from this church that brings us all together. Isn't that what it's all about. If you have children, there's Wamba Land for the little ones (up to 5 years old, I think) and services for 1st-5th graders, middle schoolers, and high school students. From what I've seen, it's a high energy, motivational service that really teaches kids about God. More to come as I get more involved in the church! read more

I never thought I would ever see a negative comment about the church that changed my life!! North Point is a unique ministry that may seem a little strange to people who have grown up in traditional churches as I did. Yes there is christian '"rock" music that is the focal point of the worship portion of the service. Yes you will see people walking around in shorts and flip flops. Yes the church is HUGE with a diverse crowd. What North Point is known for is that it is inclusive of both believers and non believers. What attracts people to this church so much is that you can come as you are, and not have to worry so much about being judged or not being good enough to be amongst believers. THAT is what reels them in to North Point. Once people come for a while, you often hear the call to serve in some way out of the many opportunities we have at our church. And you will also hear the call to join a community "small group" that gets you out of rows and into circles of folks you will study the Bible with and grow in your faith with. It DRAMATICALLY makes this huge environment into something easier for you to grow spiritually. You see it is the PEOPLE that lead others into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ at this church. Not necessarily the pastors, not the light show, the people who GET what North Point is all about and who actually dive in to serve or to form community groups that are the foundation of our church. For someone who may be offended by world class musicians performing a secular song (sometimes better than the originals), what would you say to that person who came, after never going to church, or after suffering the scrutiny of being a non believer in another church and rejected it? What if that person thought North Point was cool, kept coming, got involved with all that North Point had to offer, and turned their life over to Jesus Christ? Would you be offended, or happy that they finally found a church that they can relate to? I venture that you should have given North Point a chance, and explore the wonderful ministry that it is! I agree...it's not for everyone - but no place is. This church attempts to meet people where they're at spiritually and help them grow their relationship with Christ and others. I never "got it" going to a more traditional church week after week growing up and in college, but everything clicked once I started going here and listening to the teaching. The church has wonderful leadership and seems to be excellent stewards of the money, resources, and talents it's been given. read more

What's not to love? Casual open environment. God. Rock bands. God. No pressure. God. Relational communicators. God. Get my drift? I love that they are partnering with the family to impact the children in the church. Parents so readily, and often, leave it up to the church to teach spirituality, but North Point believes that parents have the greatest potential to impact the child. So, they work very hard to create environments that the whole family can connect with and love. And they equip parents to be spiritual leaders in the home. I love that. I also love that they are focused on volunteering, serving and interceding. From the Be Rich campaign to Do Justice to GlobalX, it's evident that North Point believes in being the hands and feet of Christ. Love it! read more

"CORPORATOLOGY" I am a Christian. Every day I ask God to replenish my mind, body, and spirit so I may act according to His will. Christ is my path to God. I have accepted Him openly... Living in His image isn't easy. I am a "sinner." I've made poor choices at times. Some of my bad decisions have occurred long since I openly professed my faith. Still, I read the Bible and earnestly strive to live each day better than the last. During my "searching" stage, I regularly attended North Point Community Church. I liked the message. I liked the messengers. I liked other people who attended North Point. I liked the progressive atmosphere. In short, I liked the packaging... I fit in well at North Point. I was young, affluent, progressive and occasionally active in group activities. Still, I hadn't fully committed my life to J.C. I liked hanging out with Jesus, but I went my own way when our meetings at North Point were over. I hit very hard times during my searching stage. Economic conditions affected my income substantially. About that time, Andy Stanley delivered a sermon on financial responsibility. I made a decision to pay off my debts completely. I went home that day and decided to hang out with Jesus a little more. I search my home for my Bible. I couldn't find it anywhere. To this day, I'm not sure what became of it. I decided I would acquire a new Bible the next time I attended services at North Point. The next week, I asked the staff at North Point if they had a Bible for me. The answer was an enthusiastic "Yes!" All I had to do for it was pay $10.00 at the store located in the Church. Keep in mind that I was very strapped for cash. My money was going back in to my business efforts. I had cut my personal expenses to the bare essentials. I viewed $10.00 as lunch and transportation expenses for one day. I explained this to different staff members. To keep this story short, I'll just say that I ended up walking out of North Point without a Bible that day... I decided to conduct some "market research" on my way back home. I stopped at a few different Christian Churches including another of the non-denominational variety. I went in, and explained my situation. All of the churches offered me a Bible. No cost. No demand that I return it. No requirement that I sit for services. No demand that I ever return to their house of worship. "Go with God!" and "In Jesus' name" were a couple of responses I received as I left. When I returned home. I thought deeply about my experience. I made a decision to give my life fully to Christ that night in the privacy of my own bedroom. I have not been back to North Point since that day. I am now attending another area church regularly. I am volunteering my time to organizations outside that church which promote Christian principles. And, oddly enough, my financial situation no longer appears so bleak. In conclusion, I'll say this.... The idea that North Point is non-denominational is not the reality. And, I am quite certain that North Point's leaders are fully aware. North Point literature may state the contrary. North Point members may say differently. North Point's statement of faith may argue otherwise. Nonetheless, I've come to the conclusion that the staff has created their own denomination. Very creatively I might add... North Point has been clever not to brand their style of worship. Instead, it is packaged as an "anti-brand" a non-denominational brand to be exact. Here are some charactistics of North Point's non-denominational variety... + A body composed predominantly of affluent professionals. + A well choreographed production + Well packaged product literature + Adoption of a franchise business model + A storefront in every location + Revenue through their own product lines + Sales of their products on-line (although indirectly) +I could go on if you'd like me to... In short, North Point is a marketing machine. Imagine what would happen if folks started to asked a few simple questions: Ask where their money goes. Ask staff to give their personal testimony of the events that led to their baptisms. Ask about their Church Partners the "Plant" program. If folks still come to the conclusion that Northpoint is non-denominational. They should ask the church to comfort them in real time of need.... Better yet, ask the church to comfort local non-believers in THEIR time of need... Or, simply ask them for a bible... Or perhaps ask them if they can arrange to visit a sick, poor neighbor in her home... Chances are folks may wind up making the same conclusion I did. This church is definitely not for everyone, as the previous review (Sassi K) says. Andy Stanly has said that fairly often from the pulpit as well. The church, and most specifically, the worship service, which of course, is all that a lot of people ever attend, has got a specific purpose and goal. The service is designed specifically to be a church destination NOT for people who would otherwise go to church somewhere else, like Sassi K probably would, but for those who otherwise would not go to church at all. As you learn more about the way it's designed, the worship service is like a foyer. Everyone is welcome, but it's OK if you don't like the house. There are Tons of conventional churches for you to choose from. As far as being bible based, the preaching and message is spot-on biblical, and the criticism heaped on this church is not typically that the preaching is unbiblical. While Andy is certainly very cool, he doesn't preach a prosperity gospel (in fact, quite the opposite) and you won't find anything heretical. It's sound preaching. Sure it's entertaining and humorous as well, but fundamentally it is very sound preaching. It is definitely a hip, modern worship style, and it can be a little loud, but I'm 42 and I don't find it ear-splitting. It isn't as loud as some churches I've been to, who seem to be trying to change an old established model by trying to bring in a "Christian Rock" sort of worship service. The volume level is typically fairly appropriate for the contemporary Christian sort of audience, although I personally wouldn't mind if they turned it down a notch. One of the things I like about the North Point churches is that they don't have to worry about the old established membership that doesn't like contemporary Christian music. If you don't like this church, it's not at all being arrogant to say "That's OK. You probably aren't in the audience of the people we are focused on serving." In today's sermon, which was on giving, he preached about being a percentage giver. He said something about it being important to give a percentage of your income for your own sake, not for the sake of this church. He even said that if you are not already a percentage-giver, then please don't give your money here, we don't need your money and there's enough people who care about what is happening there that the church will make it without your money. Maybe that sounds arrogant to some, but I find it refreshingly direct. Parking is a challenge and getting in and out takes a while. I recommend getting there at least 30 minutes before the service. If it wasn't for the parking problems, I'd give this church a 5. I definitely like it more than most churches. I can honestly say that I look forward to this service when I am in town (which is almost all the time now, luckily) and I have started reading my bible a lot more after attending here regularly. My wife is more religious than me and she'd probably prefer something a little more traditional, but she likes it that I am at least somewhat involved with church now. read more

I just attended for the first time. I wish I could take the time to write a lengthy in-depth review from a theological perspective, but I can't. Other yelp reviewers have broken things down more thoroughly. In short... There was nothing distinctly Christian about what Andy Stanley said in his either pre-recorded or off-site message. (Not sure which it was. The volunteer I spoke to afterward couldn't tell me with confidence when or where the message occurred.) It was surreal to see thousands of people gathered together reacting to, sometimes with laughter, the images of Andy Stanley projected on huge screens as he spoke from another time and/or place. People were reacting as if Andy Stanley was present and real while, in fact, he was virtual. Much of what Andy Stanley said directly contradicts the tenets of the historical Christian faith. In one of the more extreme examples, Andy Stanley claimed there is no difference between people regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey. Google "Regeneration by J.I.Packer" for a Christian take on the matter. Virtually all of Stanley's message was oriented at promoting what might as well be treated as a secular business interest known as North Point Community Church. None of his message communicated the gospel. None. Even Wikipedia is able to communicate the gospel pretty well. Google "the gospel" and read the result. While only God knows the current state of the hearts of others, I find it difficult to see how Andy Stanley could be a Christian and do what he does. I believe Stanley is afraid of the gospel as communicating it might risk alienating future customers. I asked a volunteer afterward if she happened to know how much Andy Stanley is worth. She did not. The book store was filled with many, many products bearing his name. This "church" is a perfect example of using 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code for personal gain. If Andy Stanley's church/business enterprise had to pay taxes like the restaurant down the street, I suspect he'd choose a different business concern and leave the church model behind. It is worth visiting this "church" if for no other reason than to see a very talented and ambitious sales and marketing expert at work. Andy Stanley has been able to convince hundreds of people to volunteer their time (work for free) to help market his products. Think about that! It doesn't rise to the level of "The Wolf of Wall Street" in the arenas of sex, drugs, rock-n-roll. But hey, at least Jordan Belfort has the integrity to acknowledge what a snake he really is. This is a great church for people who aren't comfortable in a traditional church. If you need a place to begin your faith journey, this is the church for you! It is big, but getting involved by volunteering or into small groups makes it feel small. read more

I love this place!!! Don't be discouraged by the size of the building! The messages are clear and so practical. They have awesome environments for your children/students and opportunities to find community around you. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone curious about faith or even if you already have a faith -- caters to all. read more

Mission is to lead people in a growing relationship in Jesus Christ. All of our journeys after different and North Point Community Church is a great way to discover what God made you for. The music will capture you and the small group will having you dig deeper. It is a church for the unchurched. Focused on giving, loving, and serving. Some might argue the commercialization of NPCC but they aren't looking deep enough. I challenge everyone to experience the difference. read more
