As much as it pains me to update my review after 4 visits and visiting their church anniversary "party", I felt the need to update my review. I was excited about this church ... the messages were clear, on point and Bible based, the music was great and the staff is wonderful. The church facility is very nice as well. So what's the problem(?) The issue for my husband and I was the piping in of secular music in the church before church service starts. The Sunday I'm speaking of we heard "Earth, Wind and Fire". We were confused :{. Our feeling is that there is a time and a place for that and not in God's house. God's House is Holy ground and only Holy things should take place there. The same with the Church anniversary party in the park, gospel was played then secular party music was played, then gospel then secular music, then gospel, etc. Again, we were in happy reverence and praise mode then came party music.... we were so confused.... We left the event very early and have not been back to this church since. We really thought we had found a church home and were left sad and disappointed to have to leave. Though we loved this church we Love the God more and have to follow the Holy Spirit and not man. I cannot express how much we loved this church and are sad to stop going but for God we'd still be visiting. read more

Wonderful church! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The sermon was great and the praise and worship team is excellent.

Eagles Nest is a down to earth church with a pastor that is usually straight to point, and delivers an instructional message each week. It's an excellent church with God fearing pastor who never pretends to be any thing more than human. The new facility is amazing and like any other business, with excellence comes GROWTH... which includes a bigger building. I'm not surprised by the judgmental "Christians" who have left a less than positive review due to their own personal preferences. The woman who is "heartbroken" because music being played at times that isn't gospel is another example of a judgmental Christian that is so "holy" that she'd rather leave the church. There no scripture that says music other than gospel is a sin. If you like a particular song that doesn't promote evil, has clean lyrics, doesn't negatively affect your thoughts, and doesn't cause you to sin you can be pretty sure that you're not going to hell. We as a people make up "Christian" rules to be upset about. It's why so many people don't want to be a Christian, constantly judgmental and negative for no reason. read more

Finding the right church for you is one of the most I important things you can do in your life so I took it very seriously. There are a ton of very amazing churches in the atl area but this one is extremely special!! read more

There's dedicated children's church, there's parking, there's friendly people, come dressed as you are, leave the rest up to God. There's times when life has gotten the best of you. There's times when the spiritual forces of this world attack your mind, your thoughts, your outlook. There's times when you feel like isolation is best because you're lost, in constant crisis, unsure how to deal with chaos, and straight confused. That was my life, even as a proclaimed believer in Jesus Christ. The joy of life and faith in God were stolen by my situation and circumstances. It is intended for us to receive encouragement and edification in community. When we are weak, they fortify us as our circle. My husband had been praying for a church home for us and led us to Eagle's Nest. Never have I felt more at home, welcomed and renewed as a church. Pastor Lee Is theologically sound, and his doctrine is welcoming to all brokenness regardless of background, issue or culture. He doesn't seek to guilt trip you into the gospel, instead shows you the answer to removing yourself from the proverbial hamster wheel of life's problems. We are in the midst of a corporate fast. As a spiritual leader teaching us that prayer and fasting are the only way to fight and rebuke those big strongholds; this is remarkable. I look forward to the testimonials and triumph that we will all have, and I thank God that my faith has been restored in Jesús, not my situation. There is Eagles Nest Español, a wonderful ministry that meets at 1 PM and for hispanohablantes. The pastor and wife Fernanda are awesome. I wish we'd do more bilingual services for us bilingual families so we didn't have to chose one service or another, but either way the message is there, it is real and I love my church. read more

FINALLY! After 8 mos of courting this church, my husband and I joined Eagles Nest Church. Just like I knew my husband was "the one" after our 1st date, I KNEW Eagles Nest was going to be my church home. I scoped the church for a couple of months solo and then I brought my husband for a visit. Just as I expected, he loved it! Like dating, there is no substitution for time and we wanted to court a while before we sealed the deal. Pastor Lee's teachings are like no other and I look forward to Sunday mornings. I don't care how late I may stay awake on Saturday night, you'd better believe I'm still getting up for church Sunday. You don't want to miss the word and you want to build on the previous week's teachings. Eagles Nest is so warm and inviting from the time you pull into the parking lot until the time you depart. Every single interaction with everyone is so genuine and you feel like "wow, people like this still exist". I love how Eagles Nest is a "teaching" church and the focus is on being the best "YOU" that you can be. The congregation is diverse and is growing by leaps and bounds after almost 6 years of existence. You won't hear any "hooping" preaching here, but you will get a "real" word. I grew up in a well known Baptist church here in Atlanta, and I have to tell you I couldn't WAIT to become an adult to find my own church home. I never got anything out the message and couldn't wait for it to be over. Now I can't WAIT for the message begin and I hate for it to come to an end. Pastor Lee is also a native ATLien, which is a rarity nowadays but I'm so proud to see my homeboy representing so well. My husband and I both have been members for a month now and have thrown ourselves into volunteering in the ministry. My husband has always gone to church but has never felt compelled to join a church or for that matter even volunteer so that speaks volumes. Our 20-year-old college daughter loves the church as well, so much that she listens to the sermons weekly online. You already know he's a winner if he's reaching 20-year-olds who think parents are clueless. Things you need to know: * Located about 1.5 miles off Mansell Rd * Come dressed as you are! No judgment zone * 3 Church Services: 8:30a, 10:30a, & 1pm (Spanish/Espanol) * Bring your own coffee in a spill proof mug or arrive early and have free coffee at the Nest Cafe. Free doughnuts are served after each service. * Just come and feel the love in an uplifting setting, listen to great a mix of contemporary and traditional gospel music, and put on your seatbelt for an awesome word! * Pastor Lee tackles subjects that most clergies are afraid to discuss, but NEED to discuss. This is a great church in the Roswell Area. Been to several in Georgia area, but what I love about this church, is the fact that the Pastor is straight forward and tackles topics relative to today's life. My heart is broken, recently decided to not join this church after the pastor announced a partnership with Joel Osteen. Osteen is a die hard supporter n long time friend of Trump. Osteen stood beside Trump n pronounced him as a good man, despite Trump's subpar value system. I am suprised Eagle's Nest decided to partner with this man and then go as far as to encourage his congregation to volunteer for Joel's Atl Hope event to do things like collect money for Osteen after Osteen charges 15 per seat at a large stadium. I am done and disappointed. I hope the Pastor decides to course correct the path he has placed the church on. I only attended the church for 9 months, but fell in love with it...then they moved to a new location, which I was initially excited about. However, then the script was flipped..I barely recognized the church...they seem to be only about a mega church platform n political realm now...yes, on the last day of service at the old church, a politician was introduced...nothing about her community cause...Yes, to say I am disappointed n heartbroken is an understatement ...it use to be a nice church. My husband and I have had a very enjoyable experience at Eagles Nest. We are not members, but have visited 4 weeks in a row. I really appreciate the candor of the pastor and his messages. You can tell he is lead by God and really cares for his church family. I also really appreciate the pastor calling us personally (even though I missed it and he left a VM) to thank us for coming after our first visit. Nice not to feel like just another number in the crowd. The staff/assistants of the church are so very welcoming and friendly. I get a really great vibe from this church and will continue to go. We saw this church on the news for speaking with members of the community about really uncomfortable issues and knew this was the place for us! And ps. For such a small choir, they can BLOW. The worship here is like no other. I've been to mega churches that don't produce half that sound. Kudos to the choir and the musicians! read more
