I can always count on Dr. Kanter to take care of my teeth, gums and cancer check and do it all pain free! Our family has gone to him for more years than I care to admit... Todays visit was for a what I thought was a gum infection and he confirmed it with only 1 X-ray. He's sending me to an endodontist and said he could show me more of what's happening if he took a 360° X-ray - but, he didn't want to charge me for it at his office when he knew the other Dr was going to just repeat it. That's what I love about this office - great, thorough care but you never feel gouged like I've heard other friends say about going to a Dr! The hygienists are awesome too! Always so friendly, careful and I feel like a million bucks after the cleaning! I have seen Dr Pross for over 2yrs at North Pointe Dental. I was looking for a dentist that also had the lab on site. I called several around Tampa, and finally landed on North Pointe. It's a friendly office environment. The staff are great, always helpful and accommodating. There are drinks and coffee available while you wait, but I never wait very long. I have had two crowns done with Dr Pross and Jimmy in the lab. They both fit perfectly and I have had no issues since. Everyone makes me feel special and cared for when I enter the office. read more

Dr Tindell was very knowledgeable and explained information well. I have a swallowing issue and adjusted the chair so I would be more comfortable even though he had to stand during the procedure. he and his hygienist were very patient when I had to swallow and they had to stop. Generally I try not to give bad reviews, especially for services because these folks may indeed be perfectly fine for other people. They did not sit right with either myself or my spouse so I thought I'd pass along that if you didn't like their service/work you are not alone. I have plenty of tooth/gum problems so the fact that my issues are painful is not unusual. They were supposed to coordinate care with a periodontist and did not follow up. Wound up with an emergency but took it elsewhere because a week or two prior my spouse had problems after leaving this office, too. Her teeth and gums are amazing. But after they convinced her to have some old work redone (embarrassed to say how much $$$ this cost) she went back for an adjustment as was predicted by the dentist. When she went in, the dentist said he did not understand why she was there. Then he proceeded to make the problem worse. She's never left the dentist with pain, but that's what she's got now due to the "fix". We are both going to a different dentist. That so far, I'm very happy with. Will write a review of them after a few more visits. read more

Called early this morning to see if I could get an appointment today with Dr. Tindell, my usual dentist, because I've been having a lot of pain/sensitivity in one of my upper molars. Dr. Tindell was booked but I was able to get in with Dr. Pross and his nurse Teresa. I highly recommend them both. Teresa took an x-ray and asked questions to pin down what I was feeling where and had briefed Dr. Pross about everything she and I discussed, so I didn't have to repeat a thing. Impressive! Dr. Pross gave me a thorough exam and has referred me to an endodontist, and Jessica was kind enough to get me an appointment. Teresa gave me some samples of cleaning tablets for my night guard, which I appreciate. Love this office and the care and attention given by the dentists and all their staff. I travel 45 minutes to my appointments and would actually travel double that to get the awesome care and treatment they provide! read more
