I need a gentle, no upselling dentist I can trust. Dr.King was my second dentist I tried when I moved to Tampa. The first could not deliver on either of my requirements. Dr.King is wonderful! I like her staff and that matters too. I trust Dr.King and if she recommends something, and she has not recommended much as I've had a ton of work done previously, I know she sees a need. I would like to warn all patients that the receptionist at this office will sign you up for insurance and without telling you she also signs you up for automatic renewal. I had Joan sign me up for a dental plan in 2019. She signed me up for automatic renewal without telling me and I was charged for 2020, 2021, and again in 2023 without my knowledge. In that period I went to the office and had work done without insurance paying anything. They quit accepting that plan after 2019. Then she sells me a new plan in 2022 and I soon discover I had been paying for the first one for three years without any benefit. I complained and they cancelled my insurance without reimbursing me for anything. I knew I would never get my premiums back for the first plan but they should reimburse me for the second. They have ripped me off of 150 dollars and when I disputed the charge they refused to settle the dispute. This was Joan's mistake, she never asked or told me she was signing me up for auto renewal. This is so wrong. Besides that, after spending over 10,000 for crown replacement my mouth has never been right. My mouth bothers me constantly now and 3d xrays don't show what is under the crowns but something is not right. I would advise you all to stay away from this office, you may learn to regret it as I have. read more

Let me start by saying that I loathe going to the dentist. I do it, begrudgingly, because I want to have teeth and not scare people away with bad breath. But I do not like it one bit. I changed jobs a while ago and had to find a new dentist closer to my new office. (I like going during my lunch break.) Several co-workers recommended Dr. King's office so I called and made an appointment for a cleaning and x-rays. Upon arrival, I was asked to fill out the standard paper work and was seen right on time. Score! My hygienist was really nice and welcoming. She made great conversation and was so friendly and warm. Since I was a new patient Dr. King herself did my cleaning. I think this is awesome! It is great for her to get to know her patients and adds a personal touch. She was very quick and also very nice and friendly. The office is clean and quiet and the staff was really great in general. I'd highly recommend Dr. King's office. read more

Dr. King made room for me in her schedule and even let me be the last appointment of the morning since I am not sleeping great these days. I am so pleased with Dr King and her incredible staff! I have been a patient for a few years, and always find the office staff so friendly and helpful, especially with scheduling my appointments around my work day. My hygienist, Blanca, is also wonderful, and very thorough. Today, I had an appointment with Dr. King, to have a some extensive dental work done. The office is taking several precautions including calling first to enter, taking temperatures before entering, and the entire staff was wearing masks, gloves, and protective coverings. I've been coming here for close to 11 years. While the office staff has changed over the years they're all super friendly and get me in and out quickly and always on time! Went in to get my teeth cleanned and a tooth pulled in preparation for my invisaligns. Never had a tooth pulled while remaining awake. Dr. Hussein was terrific...numbed me up and all I felt was pressure. I swear it took under 10 mins! The space has healed up nicely!! Best tooth pulling I have ever had - if you can believe that!! If I was a Tampa local, I would definitely go to Dr. King all the time. I had to go due to an emergency toothache and Dr. King and the staff were wonderful. She could tell I was in a lot of pain so offered to numb me up first before discussing the options (I sooooo appreciated this as the pain was a 9 on a level of 1-10, 10 being the worst). She said due to my symptoms, I needed a root canal and recommended an endodontist. Ultimately, I didn't have any work done at Dr. King's beyond the X-rays and the numbing, but the whole experience was so positive at a time when I was hurting so bad. She seemed like a dentist who truly cares about her patients. I wish I lived in Tampa so I could go here because a good dentist can be so hard to find! read more

All the ladies that work there are super friendly. Dr. King did my cleaning herself, which I thought was nice. My dental hygienist Debbie was amazing! She was so friendly and personable.
