I usually have a favorable experience at this UPS location, but today was frustrating. We often…read morecome here for returns, and while I appreciate the convenience, the store felt a bit messy and disorganized today. One of my packages required a printed label, but unfortunately, their system couldn't scan the barcode, even though the address was clearly visible. I asked if they could manually enter the address, but they said they needed a scannable barcode for the truck. When I offered to email them the label to print, I was surprised to learn there was a $1.25 charge for label printing--even though the issue seemed to be with their system. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but it felt disappointing as a loyal customer to be nickel-and-dimed for something beyond my control. I left without completing my business there which was also terribly disappointing. Hopefully, this is just a one-off experience, but I will probably try a different location next time. Also, for those interested, it looks like they no longer carry greeting cards, which I had photographed in a previous review.

My sisters and I went to FL to move my dad from his house to an assisted living facility. It was an…read moreawful job- mentally and physically difficult. The very bright spot of our week was The UPS Store. Dad had crystal glassware and sterling silver tea sets from his mother and grandmother. We wanted to keep it all in the family so we shipped it to our homes. Bill, the owner/manager said that he'd insure our cartons but only if he packed the items to ensure it would be delivered without damage. I thought it was a scam but then realized that our own packing job was completely inadequate. Bill carefully packed each item into a carton, then placed that carton inside a second carton that was lined with bubble wrap. We had a total of 7 cartons and Bill spent more than an hour on us. Apparently he had each of his employees professionally trained to properly pack fragile items. If items are delivered damaged, his store pays the insured value. UPS shipping isn't cheap, then adding the cost of their packing it for you adds up in a big hurry. But these are heirlooms. Insurance or not, they needed to be delivered without damage. We received our cartons of crystal, glass, silver, ceramics in perfect condition so far. Florida to NC and CT. The cartons to NM are expected to be delivered tomorrow. It wasn't cheap but Bill delivered as promised and we felt it was worth the cost. We learned that they do shredding too. So we went back with a pile of Dad's old files that needed to be destroyed. We highly recommend Bill and this UPS Store!

**Awful rude and childish behavior from the staff at this store **…read more I am new to the area and I showed up at a UPS store around closing time to ship a small package and the workers locked the door even though the front sign said OPEN. I had something urgent that needed to be shipped and instead of helping or directing me to the UPS store five minutes down the road the rude middle-aged white woman who was working there said "BYE ! .... BYE !" Insinuating for me to go away, shrugging me off instead of taking 30 seconds to direct me to the next UPS store. I asked if there's any other UPS stores in the area and the Rest of the workers said NO and wouldn't even come to the door to assist a paying customer ! A quick search and I found the store open until 6:30 and shipped my package but at no help from the staff at this store ! Completely rude and unprofessional - staff should either retrained or fired ! NO place to act like a child at a business. Let corporate be aware of the unprofessional behavior and review the security footage from 6/10/26 around 6:00 pm to see how they didn't even bother to help in any way. If the store is closed - turn the OPEN sign off and learn how to act and treat customers. I will never ship from there again. I felt completely disrespected! Terrible service 0 stars. Unseen by most,because of its remote location within the Myakka State Park forest. Originally, in the early 1900s it was the home of El Jobean's only post offices/ general store by a visionary named, Joel Bean. Today the historical property remains intact as a restaurant and lounge for local musicians. Ironically the history of Joel Bean can be best defined in verse 9 of a song titled The Ballads of El Jobean. "But there is only one here who has visions Of a city not so mean That shall rise above the present To dream of El Jobean" Should you visit this property you will find yourself surrounded by local and ageless musicians playing songs like that one. Along with a handful of other travelers and visionaries who have answered the calling to the sound of old El Jobean.

When I got there I waited a little while. (Unusual). Then an employee asked if I had a will that needed to be notarized, I said ye and he said we don't do wills. I suggested that they let customers know when they make an appointment that they don't do wills. I will still go there to mail packages, but I was disappointed Ted this time.
