What I should have asked was: is that four boxes per day, per person, per week, per month, per year... or per lifetime? Does the box policeman track these numbers, I wonder?? Last weekend I took five without any issue, so clearly the box police were off duty. His tone was curt, too, which didn't help. I need the boxes for a short-term project, so this is not something I do every week. Thank goodness. Fortunately, there are plenty of other liquor stores in the area. Typically there are various cases (24 cans) for $13.99 and 12 packs for $6.99. We stopped in this week and the deals were so good we ended up stocking up for the whole summer. The gentlemen that work the counter are also great and always willing to help you out to the car if you find your hands are full.
