I always had real Christmas trees growing up, but I had never bought one as an adult. Nevertheless, Almost Heavenly Trees & Greenery made the process way easier than I could have expected, and for the first time, like ever in my life, we left the tree lot with the first tree we looked at. This is a fantastic 'mom and pop' tree farm operation and the young man, forgive me that I have forgotten his name, was super fantastic! He spent 20 minutes with us making sure we had the exact tree we wanted, and even helped up strap it to the roof of our car for the trip home. I feel really bad that I've forgotten his name because he was so personable. Not once did I feel like he was rushing us even though the lot was busy. And the trees are spectacular. It didn't look like much when we arrived because it is just trees in a lot, but they are quite fresh. The trees (douglas firs) from the family farm in WV were cut about a week before being sold. We ended up with a frasier fir (personal favorite) which came from a farm in NC but we were told they were about as fresh but they just couldn't confirm the day they had actually been cut. The prices were very reasonable, especially for being a local business and not a 'big box' store. We were just so impressed and are so very happy with our lovely tree that we are definitely life-long customers as long as we are within reasonable driving distance! They last all of December, always get it the day after thanksgiving and keep it up until New Year's Day. This year our tree fell over after being up for two weeks. It didn't feel secure and I called to get some advice and spoke with Matt who explained it was likely our tree stand (which it was) and offered to have someone come to our home to install our tree in a new tree stand the following day. As promised, Sam came with the new tree stand and put our tree in it the following day. They went above and beyond and followed through on everything they said they would. We will continue to get our trees from almost heavenly for as long as we live in this area and I have already told many people about this company so you should be expecting some new customers! The selection is not as great, and the prices are a bit higher, but staff are friendly and helpful. The drive is also somewhat longer for me. Recently I noticed quite by accident that they have been adding a 50 cent "fuel and freight adjustment" to every purchase, no matter how small. I could understand if it were a percent of the purchase, and if they were up front about it. However adding a 50 cent surcharge to a $7 purchase is a bit much. I would have sent this comment to them directly if I could have found a way to do so on their website.

The manager Mr. Carlos didn't care to look at the pictures. He refused to replace the tree or refund the money despite the 1 year warranty the sales people said we had when they were buying the tree. He just said he couldn't do that as the store doesn't provide compensation for lost trees. I wouldn't recommend buying bigger trees in that nursery. The store doesn't honour warranty.

Over the years, we've done apple, strawberry, and blueberry picking here, but the fall pumpkin festival is the best. There are tons of activities for the little ones - hayrides, a corn maze, farm animals, and more. Tubby's BBQ is on-site if you need lunch. The line can be long, but it moves quickly. It is on the pricier side, but well worth it. The farm is beautiful, the experience is fun, and it's a wonderful way to get the kids outdoors.

They had a huge selection of trees and different varieties (clearly marked). Their prices were posted and they took care of everything else (trimming, putting it in the base and lining it up and strapping it to the car). The staff is friendly and helpful, there to answer your questions and help once you pick your tree. The trees are fully, good quality and reasonably prices. They usually carry your tree to the front where it's trimmed and wrapped then secured on your car. I did go on a Sunday so it was busy, but not overly crowded. One word for that: egads! We did a frantic online search to find appliances, and stumbled upon Appliance Land Etc. The Appliance Land website didn't show many details about specific appliances in inventory, but we went anyway, trying to avoid the big box stores if possible. They had a great selection, but really only one in the size that we wanted (30"W 66"H 30"D) but it matched exactly what we were looking for. Dennis was amazingly helpful and awesome. He checked the inventory and saw that he had last year's model of a fridge in the size that we needed. He offered us that model for about $50 off the normal retail since it was a floor model. Turns out, the inventory was wrong and the model on the floor was the 2015 model. He offered us the same discount on the fridge, and we're having it delivered for free on Tuesday. I'll write an update to my review after the delivery. They offer haul-away for $20 and they will recycle it. A couple of notes, we found the same model fridge at either Lowes or Home Depot, and it was the same retail price. We chose to support small business. Dennis also gave us some good advice on microwaves and how easy it is to install them in lieu of a vent. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone shopping for appliances. We're looking to redo our kitchen in a year or so, and we'll definitely be visiting these guys when we shop for appliances.
