After speaking with the lady up front (I believe it was the owner Donny's wife, but not 100% sure) she talked us into using their services because she convinced us that their sod was locally grown and they had expert installers. We spend almost $1,000.00 and they came by the next week. Everything seemed to be ok after they left, but less than a month later, the sod stared to brown. MULTIPLE requests (including text messages, phone calls and visits to the store) and months later Donny finally agreed to replace the sod. NO notification that they were coming, I got a knock on my door the last day of October (7 MONTHS later) they were there to replace the sod. In the middle of the guys replacing the sod, Donny (the owner) literally pulled up in front of my house, got out and screamed in front of my entire neighborhood how he didn't think my sod actually needed to be replaced and to "never effing call him again" (Yes I have it all on video if anyone is interested). After an altercation, he trespassed me from his store. Nice way to deal with a customer that only wanted to get what he paid almost 3X what he should have from a local business.

They're also incredibly informative and helpful. I recently purchased some herbs from Ed's and their team meets you at the entrance to try to guide and assist you. It's a nice touch. Once you move on to the area where the herbs are, other folks will assist you there as well. Additionally, the selection of herbs is superior and more varied than what you'd find in the nearby home stores. Ed's also carries a ton of flowers - fortunately they are around to answer questions because the selection can be overwhelming. Bottom line: there is no better place in the area for landscape that beats Ed's. Even for Christmas trees or herbs.

Though he had plenty of time to do so, he did not give us any kind of heads up he would be late until I called numerous times and emailed the owner. At that point (30 minutes late), he told us he was still an hour away. When I mentioned to the owner, Conrad, that we understand these things happen but the lack of communication created a lot of inconvenience for us, the response was very snippy and unprofessional. Additionally, he tried to convince me of an untrue version of events, which was such weird way to handle the situation. I expect he will respond to this review in a similar manner. I would not recommend this company. They are rude, overpriced, and definitely consider their time to be more valuable than yours.

The renovation included lowering the concrete ceilings by 6 inches in the entire unit so sheetrock and recessed lighting could be installed. New tile, hardwood floors, bedroom carpeting, and, heated patio floor were part of this extensive renovation. New wiring and plumbing along with complete kitchen and bathroom renovations were completed. This included removing and moving some walls and adding closets and renovating other closets, as well as all new doors for existing closets, all new light fixtures, vanities, and toilets. The remodel included new tile throughout both bathrooms, including new shower doors and tile. Firuze's design center has the most comprehensive and unique collection of granite, marble, and floor and wall tiles when compared to any others in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The first question we are asked when visitors enter our condo for the first time is, "Where did you find your countertops, cupboards, and floor tile." Thanks to Firuze's great collection of products our condo meets our goal of being a unique, modern and stylish, yet most importantly, a very comfortable place to call home and entertain guests.
