In my bathroom, it was a complete renovation; all I kept was the toilet so everything else was new. The guys installed a new floor, vanity, lights, shower, shelves, mirror, medicine cabinet, and curtain. The entire project took two weeks. We heard of them through a realtor who worked with them for another client. They gave Hauptman glowing reviews which were fully met and justified with our build. We cannot speak highly enough about the team of craftsmen that work for Hauptman. They are professional, personable and highly skilled individuals that gave our home many small but important custom finishes that we enjoy daily. Custom finishing and materials takes time to put into place and cannot be rushed. Hauptman has been in the business of building for decades and has solid relationships with all of the subcontractors required to build a home. This also attests to the type of builder that Hauptman is. When we had an issue post build with our fireplace, the contractor immediately came out and resolved it for us, replacing the defective part. First class service all the way. When we realized after our roof had been fully shingled that we needed a patio cover/roof for shade, Bill drew up 4 different options for us to choose from and seamlessly attached the sloped patio roof to our existing home structure. It looks like it was part of the original design and not the after thought that it was. Hauptman is a builder that values integrity in everything that they say and do. Their prices are very fair for this locale's market. Bill and team demonstrated a patience working with my needs for handicap features throughout our home and exceeded all of our expectations. We hired Kitchen Master Design and Modelling because we liked their designs the best of the four…read morevendors we got designs from. They were also the only ones that would redo the lighting in our place without dropping the ceiling. They also have a five-year warranty, which gives us peace of mind with such an expensive and major redesign. We had new solid wood floors installed, complete remodel for the kitchen with new cabinets, sink, island, and quartz wall tiles, added new appliances and they were able to add conveniences such as a pantry and more functional cabinet spaces. They also updated our lighting and electrical switches. Na and Sway were generally good at responding within a day or so of reaching out. There were a few times when we had communication issues, such as what was written in the contract, but we were able to resolve them quickly. I also commend them for helping with getting our Sub-Zero/Wolf appliances through the door even though they were not responsible for that and helping fix damages done by the ABW appliances delivery team. We would recommend them again, the kitchen cabinets, fixtures and lighting are very well done. Our condo is small so their ability to help turn the kitchen into a space a master chef would be proud of and is more functional and better floor plan is much appreciated. The finished kitchen has a wow factor for everyone who has seen it and could be in a design magazine. We intend to use them again for our bathroom remodeling jobs in the future.

Near the end of the project, we had an issue in our basement (unrelated to the remodel, a wall came down when we put up our own shelving) and they were able to come in quickly to completely reno the basement as well. Some of the highlights of working with Kitchen Master: - 5 year warranty. Enough said. - Great personal service: Na was super responsive, and helped us make decisions on finishes within my budget (even coming to the house with countertop, flooring, and cabinet samples based on a general idea of our style). I'm pretty indecisive so I have to give Na a lot of credit for putting up with my text messages that said things like: "Would this paint color look weird with the tiles I selected?" Or "idk, what do you think we should do with this space?" Her suggestions were definitely better than what I could come up with on my own. - Budget: Na and Sway really worked with us on our budget. We were able to get quality where it counted with no upsells, and spend less in areas that either weren't as important to us, or where the price is less of an indicator of quality. This was really important to me because I don't have the time, patience, or expertise to price shop for materials on my own. -Creativity: I had two contractors tell me they likely would not have the space to turn my powder room into a bathroom with a shower. When Na and Sway came over for the estimate, they very quickly identified that they could move the toilet and sink to another spot and knock out the pantry to make it happen. It looks amazing, and feels more spacious than before strangely enough. We also wanted to knock out part of our kitchen wall, but their were vents in the way making it impossible. They quickly came up with a solution to MOVE THE VENTS (!) at a lower cost than expected. - Professionalism and Quality: The end project was incredible and it feels like a different home. Na and Sway feel like family and I will definitely use them again.

He demolished our house and rug out the hole to pour a new foundation. He was also really nice to our little kids who were so interested in the whole process. He explained what was happening and showed them the machines. They were over the moon. Now his team is back to do the final dirt grading. His machines are already there and ready to go. I would work with him a thousand times over. I wish all jobs went as smoothly as this one has with him and his team.

We contacted Neal (the owner of Double K) to see if he had an opening to refinish the half bathroom…read morein our home. From the moment Neal came over to get an idea of what we wanted to the completion of the project it could not have gone smoother. Ralph (the project manager) and his crew did an excellent job. Ralph was more than happy to take the time to listen to our thoughts and was great to work with. Since Double K had done such a great job with the half bath we contacted Neal once again to completely gut our aging kitchen. As with the first renovation the process was flawless. He had great suppliers to work with Jack from Appliances Unlimited, Keith from Kitchens by Quality, and Bob from the Tile Shop. All were a pleasure to work with and took their time to listen to our ideas (although in most cases their ideas were better). Again, Ralph and his crew did a great job -- we are beyond happy. As Double K were redoing the kitchen we noticed a sag in the the ceiling of our carport. We had noticed it before and it was continually getting worse. We asked Neal if he would take a look. He provided an estimate and they had it done (I believe in a day). Long story short. Finding a great contractor with a crew you can completely trust is a difficult a task. I can firmly say -- that task is not an issue for us anymore. Double K has very much proven that we needn't look any further.
