I…read moreunderstand their reasons for cancelling the appointment - and I don't disagree with their practices - but they left me in a terrible position. I made an appointment for a broken tooth and pain. They didn't have an opening for almost two weeks. They had that entire period to tell me they wouldn't see me. Instead, with a worsening medical condition in my mouth, they called me at the last minute and didn't even offer a 'sorry' for my trouble. Again - this isn't about their policy, the quality of their service, their location, or even their facility - it's the abject lack of professionalism in cancelling an appointment at the last minute for someone with an issue that needs attention soon. There's not enough dentists to go around up here, but I wouldn't recommend dealing with these people.

Parking is easy and free, the signage in the facility is helpful and the staff - no matter the department - makes every effort to make you comfortable and well-cared for.

I was so pleased with Peninsula Family Dentistry recently when I had to have a crown put back on…read more I'm up here for the summer and I'm going home in a week and just wanted to have it put back on until I get home. I called the Negaunee office and they were able to get me in that morning. Andrew Ekdahl was the dentist who took care of me. He was so very conscientious about getting the crown to fit right. They offered to do ex-rays, but I told them I haven't had any problems, and I will be home in 2 weeks and have a dentist appointment coming up, so I'd just rather have it put back on.
