Kitchen design I came here to see how much cabinets would be for a kitchen remodel. I made an appointment ahead of time. They have a small showcase area of different options. To start the appointment he discussed the differences in ours and theirs. I am not really sure what company the comparison was against because other cabinets I looked at were very similar to northeast factory direct. I then felt pressured to pick the exact cabinet selection. He said they had off the shelf and then more custom cabinets and he made it seem like I couldn't change my mind. I had a design layout and then he proceed to recreate it in his system even though I asked him to offer his own ideas. I just left feeling that no personalization was made to the process. I LOVE the furniture selection. So many models and choices to choose from. I had to wait an extra week because my recliner was out of stock. Once it came in (after the 4 week wait) delivery was very smooth. Guys on the truck were super. 4 stars because I saw the same recliner elswhere for a little less money, anywhere from $20-$40 less. So I'm not so sure about there pricing. But they are in my neighborhood and close, I don't mid supporting that. read more

My husband and I went to the W 140th St location to find furniture for the family room. Ashley greeted us, and all of the sales associates were friendly and helpful. We were able to look around and discuss our thoughts without anyone hanging over us. No pressure-sale atmosphere! We're very happy with the variety and were able to find just what we were looking for. It really was surprising to see every style and name brands. After we thought about our purchase, we were able to call and let Ashley know of changes we wanted to make. Fast forward to furniture delivery and we have a few issues with our new sectional and loveseat. I tried to reach out to the store for over 30 minutes and was unsuccessful. Finally they called back the next day to inform me someone from their warranty department would be in touch. I am still waiting on that call. At this point I am no longer satisfied with my purchase. It is not always about the sale but also service after the sale. I will update this if they can provide any help in a timely manner. Unfortunately I am unable to get service on my expensive sectional and loveseat until next week. I did not buy a close out item as this was a special order high end sectional and loveseat. Salesman tried to sell us different configuration that we weren't interested in, specifically trying to sell us the loveseat and chaise. After attempting to leave because he wasn't amenable to selling us what we wanted, he apologized and started "writing it up". The price he quoted for the sofa and chaise were correct on the order but after we paid and left we noticed the item number on our sofa was different than the one we asked for. HE WROTE UP THE LOVESEAT instead of sofa. We called immediately when we got home. THEIR RESPONSE WAS MIND-BLOWING!!! NO RETURNS!!! "You shouldve checked BEFORE you left the store! ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS! "YOU signed off on it!". We had to LIE and say we wanted an exchange for the larger sofa in order for them to take back their mistake. Okay, so the hot tub control panel and heater worked after 3 (3!) replacements. Until this winter when something caused breaker to flip off and the water in the tub froze. Froze, as in one solid six foot block of ice. After their diagnosing the tub in 10 degree weather, I've decided to buy again, a similar tub. Wish me luck this time... read more

Do they have good prices? Sort of. Do they have good customer service? Not even close, very unsatisfactory in fact. Bought a sauna from them and had it delivered and installed by them. It was damaged. The installers took pictures and sent them in and said someone would contact me to get this resolved. A week later no call, so I contact them. Well, they can't help me out because they want me to contact the manufacturer. It's their in-house brand NEFD Home Wellness. They don't service or fix their own stuff. I call the manufacturer, and they have no record of me purchasing the item. NEFD said they would take care of it, they won't. I would have refused delivery if I would have known that I have to call the manufacturer, arrange delivery and assemble it with the new part. Plus there are runs in the finish all over the place. BOTTOM LINE - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS. The $100 you may save isn't worth it. read more

She said it would be about two weeks and gave me the procedures for pick up.. It came in in less than two weeks.. I had a family member pick it up to save myself delivery . I do not understand the negative reviews. I had been looking for a couch for months. I even committed to one from Macy's. No dice they did not have the color I wanted and would be 5 months wait. I came here, the manager showed me around and answered all my questions and no hard sell. I left and went to another place in the area. Could not find anything that I wanted. I came back and spoke with Marc again and committed to a couch. He advised it may take till the fall for it to arrive. Avoid this company. Paid NEFD for quartz countertops. They hired Rocksolid Surfaces as their subcontractor to install. Countertops are not completely level and the seam needs to be filled again. NEFD and Rocksolid Surfaces, who they DO NOT use anymore, were very unresponsive, with the exception of one woman who tried to help but with no results. I was not asking them to fill the seam for free. Rocksolid Surfaces was going to charge me $250.00 just to come to my house and then time spent repairing what should have lasted the life of the countertop. DO NOT want them to do the repair as they do shoddy work. Since I paid NEFD, I thought they might advocate for me with one of their other subcontractors, again not for free, but their answer was no and their excuses were just that, excuses. Save yourself the frustration of doing business with a company like this. It's just not worth it. Next review is with the Better Business Bureau. read more

If I could leave no stars, I would. I could not recommend you run further from NorthEast Factory Direct. First, the measuring was done wrong and I lost cabinet space, then my cabinets were wrong and they brought them same day to make sure the template could be done. I was not told I needed to even schedule the template so the fact I got in when I did was a miracle. Then, MORE cabinets were wrong. They had this order for over 2 months and I had 4 cabinets wrong. It took them 3 weeks to get the correct cabinets here THEN the cabinets had no shelves. It took another 2 weeks to get the shelves and I had to follow up multiple times to get them to deliver them. Once they were delivered, they were the wrong size and they had to come AGAIN to get the correct ones. They still forgot the floating shelves, which needed to be larger due to the mismeasure on their end, and when they sent them there were 8 shelves that were designed for the inside of a cabinet not outward in the kitchen. THEN I found out I am being charged interest for the cabinets that could not have had more issues. Again, they had this order for over 2 months and I had so many things go wrong you would have thought I ordered the week before. The cabinets are yellowing and the island started to crack once the counter went on. They did refund me for the initial issues but I just saw the interest today and am waiting for a call back. This company is a disaster and I would recommend paying a little more for better service and quality. read more

Purchased a recliner on January 1, 2021, and had to wait 12 weeks for arrival, so that means I've had this chair for approximately one year. I stopped into the store late last year because the padding in the footrest has flattened out and I feel like my legs are resting on 2x4s. Once someone could take the time to talk to me, I was told that the fabric has to be loose so that the footrest can fold down. I understand that, but I believe the padding can still be plump and the fabric be loose. Now I have a situation where threads have loosened from the seat cushion. Based on what I was told about the footrest and the comments I've read, I don't believe it's worth my time or aggravation to contact anyone. But if someone wants to contact me, please do. read more

Honestly, it's visited out of curiosity. I've had a few people purchase kitchen cabinets there. Also someone else that purchased a couch. They thought that the prices were fair. I walked around the store, it's pretty big. They have a lot of choices. One thing that I did appreciate was getting a quote for kitchen cabinets and installation. I was quite impressed with the way the showed me how everything would look in the space I have. Since we were gathering information we didn't think that we would request a quote that day. So I was very appreciative of them taking the time to help us without an appointment. One thing I do highly recommend is that you call ahead and make an appointment. I feel that although we were helped it may have been a little stressful to the person who helped us. Therefore that I why I personally give them three stars. I feel it's in the middle and balanced. It would be great to read a post from someone who had an appointment and went through the process. Otherwise I am sure you will find what you need. read more

Only one employee (on weekends we were told) and the manager of the store misrepresented assistance that would be provided. No return call from her regarding the situation. We had intended to buy other furniture there but clearly that won't be happening. Kudos to that lone employee at the warehouse. Bought completed kitchen cabinets at NE Ohio Factory Direct in Euclid. I worked with Alicia for design and layout - although everyone was helpful. I ordered my cabinets at the beginning of Covid and there was perhaps a two week delay. My contractor installed all the cabinets and the design was beautiful. I ended up with over 40 cabinets, but it was a large kitchen remodel.There were a couple minor glitches, but all in all it was a great experience. They also sell massage chairs. We recently purchased a sleeper couch from the Canton store. It took several months before delivery. Once it was delivered, the couch was damaged. We reached out to Factory Direct and they told us they would make it "RIGHT". However, after many calls to the company they have not made it "RIGHT". I would give this company 0 stars if that were an option. If you are considering purchasing anything from them, please save yourself months of aggravation and shop somewhere else. It was an absolute nightmare to work with everyone at the company after they had our money. (You pay in full up front, of course.) Here's my story: I ordered kitchen cabinets back in June and was told it would be about 4 weeks for delivery. Well, 4 weeks turned into two months, which turned into 5 months in the end. Customer service was generally rude and often confrontational when I called for updates on the delivery. Every time, they blamed the manufacturer and said that all of their customers were dealing with the same delays but that it would be coming in about two weeks or so. Apparently lying to your customers and treating them like garbage is fine as long as you do it across the board. After dozens of phone calls, I finally did get the majority of my order in mid-October. (Please note that they will not call you back. You'll need to call them multiple times or even try the sales line to get any response.) I then had to continue calling in attempts to get my remaining side panels. About a week later, the panels had arrived at their warehouse. When I didn't hear from the warehouse about a delivery date, I continued calling and was told that only one panel was ready and someone would call back about the second, missing piece. Of course, no one ever called and no one ever managed to find that missing panel. I was simply (and rudely) told that they didn't know where it was. The end. Eventually, I ended up making a visit to the store and the warehouse miraculously found the missing piece while I was there. I then made the drive down to the warehouse to pick the pieces up myself, rather than waiting for delivery. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the warehouse, one of the side panels was more than twice the size I had ordered and wouldn't fit in my car. It was clearly not part of my order, but I was so fed up at that point that I decided to have our installation crew just cut it down themselves. The warehouse manager was kind enough to coordinate a next-day delivery of the panel and now, 5 months after placing the order, I can finally say that I never have to call them again. I recommend you don't call them either. read more

The "no frills" warehouse approach allows for deeper discounts that carry on to you as the customer. I made an appointment to quote our new cabinets. The process was very simple, and there were many affordable options to choose from. The salesman, Rob, did a great job of walking me through the various options, and providing feedback what made the most sense for what I was looking for. He didn't try to up sell me. Quite the opposite, he showed me how to save money throughout the process. The system they use for the three dimensional drawing is fantastic, and you can easily change the layout of your project. How can you not remember we bought from you? They were all about making the sale and didn't really care if we were happy or not. To begin with it has been quite a long time for the update to my original review. Apologies. It did take quite a long time to receive what we ordered, but it finally was delivered in April of 2018. The delivery team was timely, friendly, efficient, and careful. Overall an excellent delivery service team. The actually items were beautiful. We were and remain very pleased with the quality of the furniture. I maintain that the shopping experience was great. Great selection, show room sales person helpful buts that's where the good stopped and the bad and ugly ensue. We bought cabinets here for our basement bar, and needed to have reasonably priced cabinets, with sound construction. We got that at Northeast Factory Direct. The gentleman who helped us place our order walked us through options, helped us select hardware, and then completed our order on a large monitor so we could see the plan as he created it. I like that kind of transparency. There was adequate PPE, hand sanitizer, and plexiglass in place. We had our cabinets within three weeks and was deliver quickly and efficiently. Now they are saying they need clearer pics. I asked for someone in management to contact me, haven't heard from anyone. They may be great for kitchen cabinets , but based on our experience buying furniture from them , DON'T. Like many other reviews here , the furniture was garbage , we bought a three piece leather set with sofa , love seat , and chair with ottoman . Delivery came , didn't bring the correct legs , so took legs from somebody else's furniture and installed them on our furniture . Should have been the warning right there , less than a year and the furniture had problems , fading leather , broken wood in couch , we are empty nesters and are not heavy and don't jump on the furniture. The furniture was made by Ashley Furniture , who gives a multi year warranty with their leather furniture , North Coast Factory Direct definitely has zero warranty or customer service. When we called , they actually told us they could sell us the same set again at half price. Seriously , this was their solution . "What's up?" is not a professional way to greet customers. I'm sorry! Am I interrupting your day? I understand the laid back feeling they promote as to not push you to buy, but a simple "Hey! How's it going?" Or "Hello! How are you? How may I help you today?" would be more professional. When a customer completes an actual purchase and you've used their credit card, you should hand it back to them the way they handed it to you. Tossing it on the counter is not appropriate nor professional. It's not cool to walk into a business and be "greeted" this way nor be treated this way especially when a customer actually purchases an item. Set the mood by being respectful to all people of all ages. We purchased our furniture from this location 5 years ago and we are happy with it! Purchased a lift chair for my grandmother due to mobility issues. Had the chair for 2 months and it broke. It's under warranty so they came out to fix it withing a week. They did not have the parts to fix it but said they will oder. Parts where ordered around September 15 and we where told they won't be in till October 23rd. That can and went and now the part won't be in until December 19th. I've called numerous times and no satisfaction. I've called twice during the past week and and asked to talk to a manager. We purchased the couch on Thursday. It was in stock and we picked it up Saturday. Pick up was quick and easy. We purchased the fabric protection but hoping we will never need to file a claim. This was an afterthought after seeing another advertisement from this company. I bought a hot tub from them for $6000 and had a problem with delivery but got it straightened out after an extended phone call. I don't recall the circumstances but I had a problem with the the hot tub within a few years and called asking about warranty repairs only to be told that the company went out of business but further investigation found that they merely changed their name so we were put into a situation we didn't want to deal with and just cut up the the hot tub and took it to the dump. Prior to that we had already had 3 hot tubs that failed but that was over 30+ years. I was very disappointed in their service read more

Very disappointed with NEFD. The cabinet order was seamless, but once NEFD received payment (you pay in full up front), communication was pretty much non-existent. On THREE occasions, we received damaged cabinets. In one instance, there were visible boot marks on one of the boxes and one of the cabinets wasn't fully constructed. I realize NEFD works with third party manufacturers, but what a waste of time and money for both the customer and NEFD. Our project is still not 100% complete (began the process in May and we're now one week out from Christmas). We're currently dealing with waiting on pantry rollouts -they have arrived twice and are the wrong size. Are you paying less than a big box store? Yes. Is it worth the headache and all the back and forth? Not at all. We won't recommend them to anyone - unless they'd like their project extended by months, added costs in the eleventh hour, and VERY limited/delayed communication by NEFD reps. read more

We ordered patio furniture in June. Promised for July. Then stretched it to August. When we spoke to salesman he said give me another week or 2. They were waiting for one chair. Well 3 weeks went by. We Called. Salesman is on vacation of course. Told the only piece they were waiting for was the table. ??? We were told if we wanted a refund we could get it. We'll that's not what they said when we told them to cancel the order. They said they were going to keep 30% of our money for restocking fee. What restocking fee. Nothing was ever delivered. After demanding full refund they told us we are never to come in their store again. Great customer service. Never ever shop there. I purchased a mattress from Northeast Factory Direct 2 or 3 months ago. I notice the mattress is not supporting my lower back. The mattress is caving in and smashing down the left side of the bed and not supporting my lower back. This mattress was paid in full. I have called Mattress Warehouse several times to come and inspect the mattress problem. No one has responded. Now, I'm experience terrible lower back pain. Despite me having a difficulties walking and using a walking cane, I am suffering a great deal of lower back pain from sleeping on this damaged and unsupported mattress. The last time I contact Factory Direct by phone their response was for me to take a photo of my new dilapidated mattress I purchased from Northeast Factory Direct and submit it to them.
