Learning about Northeast Construction & Custom Homes was a blessing in disguise! It all started when we were moving into town. We had contacted Dave at Northeast Construction to come by and look at some work we needed done in a just purchased home. It was still winter. The movers that were hired to help never showed up, the driveway wasn't properly plowed and cars were stuck in the mud/snow! Dave immediately stepped in and got one of his plows to the property to clean up the driveway along with pulling the stuck cars from the muck. If that wasn't a good enough impression, he and his crew spent the rest of the day filling in for the movers, all the while with smiles upon their faces and lots of laughing and joking, by the end of the day he and his crew had successfully emptied two apartments in the next town, packed the truck and when we got to the new place, unpacked the truck and brought everything to where it belonged. Going above and beyond what could possibly have been expected, we knew right then that Northeast Construction headed by Dave C. was going to be the contractor we would be working with. Among the projects Dave has helped us with is building a stockade fence (In which he happily taught us how to do it ourselves), installing a sewer line, water line and electricity to a new out building that he helped us acquire, of which his crew also installed a pad for. In the few short weeks that we have worked with Dave and Northeast Construction, we have come to trust them implicitly and even consider them friends. Whenever they are needed or working on a project here, they are always on time, always explain costs and are always honest and generous with their skills and knowledge that not only includes construction but also landscaping, as Dave also has extensive knowledge of plants and such. There is not a crew in the area that I can honestly recommend more. We know that when we have them here to work on something, it will be done right the first time and made to last! They are all so genuine and down to earth, we consider them family and we are looking forward to getting them back on the property for more plumbing and electrical work, and a wee bit of carpentry! Dave and his crew at Northeast Construction completed several projects at my cabin in the Adirondacks including a regrading of the property to promote better drainage, a new driveway, deck, weather head and electrical service hookups, water line repair, and a complete new roof system striped down to the internal ceiling boards (added insulation, air space, sheathing, shingles, fascia, etc).
