Botox and similar neurotoxins should be only injected at approved sites and the amount should be discussed at every visit. Toxin spreads and the higher the dosage the more likely you are to suffer Botox poisoning or botolism. Ask for informed consent, ask for the black box warning read all you can about side effects. Injector skill matters BUT Botox and other neurotoxins spread regardless of who the injector is.

The reason for this is if you go see him and need some kind of minor surgical procedure on your skin such as removing skin tags which was my case this time, he doesn't say well we need to set you up for another appointment so I can prepare for the procedure and we are going to need this nurse and an assistant and......,He said would you like them removed now? I said definitely! I had approximately 25 skin tags in various areas removed in that that one visit! No "well we will remove a few at a time and send them away to have them tested for this and/or that." I didn't feel a thing except a very little pinch as he injected a local anesthetic in each and every tag. He kept asking if I was ok and I said yep! He then proceeded gently to cut every tag off. He has a great bedside manner. I was so happy to get rid of all of those nasty skin tags!! And when I checked out, they said ok the doctor doesn't need you to come back unless you have an issue with the site or of course if you have another issue. So once again, Action Jackson Greenstein. He is also very knowledgeable and has helped me with a few different skin issues successfully. He also prescribed me a cream for a rash that I didn't have but explained what it looked liked, the area and the symptoms and told him him it comes and goes and he knew exactly what to give me. If you want a great Dermatologist, Dr. Greenstein is your man!

She also answered questions I had, and was very helpful in giving clear, concise information on the treatment and post treatment care. During electrolysis, she checked with me if i was comfortable with strength of the treatment or if it needed to be adjusted, but it was fine.
