I am so thrilled with the results. I did not use any numbing pre-treatment and the recovery process was only a few days. I had to travel to three different conferences the following week after treatment and I was able to present without any issues. Dr. Shanthala is an incredible doctor, and I would get laser treatment with the Ultraclear laser and Lasercoring again. All the treatments Dr. Shanthala offers are amazing. They closed the Dedham location (5 minutes from home) without notice. I did not even get a phone call. I called about my upcoming appointment and was told they were closed, but I could go to a different location. I emailed corporate and asked for 1/12 of the money I paid back on laser and 1/3 back on facial. I thought that was fair. They did not. I was not allowed to "change" my package. (hmmm -seems like they changed it, not me). I gave up arguing with them. Since I only had one more appointment, I drove an hour each way to Cambridge and the clinician seemed to do as little as possible to get me done. If it was my company, I would have done a little more for the clients I was displacing. Honestly, a phone call in advance, some free samples, just a little something to make me feel like I was not being processed. I would NEVER recommend HLC. They don't care.

After years of over-plucking my brows (hello 90s!) and some martial arts blows to the brow area, I was left with patchy and mismatched brows. Filling them in was the bane of my morning makeup routine and I inevitably was left with two fuller but still obviously mismatched and oddly-shaped brows. After an initial consultation, I made an appointment. I was nervous, mostly because it's a semi-permanent FACIAL tattoo. If I didn't like the results, there'd be no going back for quite awhile. Gina was patient with my nervousness and REALLY listened to what I wanted, and added her professional opinions of what would work for my face and how brows can alter your look. Gina's attention to detail was key in getting exactly the ***perfect*** brows for my face. I got up front the chair and it looked like I had had a face lift! My friends were floored in the change in my before and afters. Prettyology provides detailed instructions on before and after care for microblading, and has a beautiful salon on Newbury Street.
