Amazing job and communication by everyone. The guys had to deal with alot of mud due to recent heavy rains, but they were here and done before 1pm. It looks amazing! Spoke w/Olga and she assigned Luiz to do the estimate but I unfortunately had a medical issue pop up so I texted him 2 days prior and never heard a word back re: my rescheduling request. Olga then assigns Harry who took the measurements and responded with a quote that was a bit messy so I asked him to put everything that we agreed to on a few back and forth emails on 1 document so that there was no ambiguity or issues. I told him once he did that I would commit to Northeast. He then emails me back complaining that "At this time, I won't be itemizing pricing for every individual product, as a significant amount of time has already been invested in preparing this information. Based on your questions, it appears you have a clear understanding of what you're looking for, though you may still be weighing your options. I would recommend taking your time and, if needed, exploring other companies to ensure you find the best fit for your expectations". What kind of sales person sends a customer who's ready to commit a message like this? After 34 years in sales I understand that securing a sale can be a tedious, paperwork driven process but that's just how it goes sometimes and when you get the business its certainly worth it. Not sure how this company stays in business with customer facing sales reps that won't reschedule when a potential customer has a medical issue or that complain about having to put all agreed upon terms on 1 document. I called for an estimate. I needed to remove the existing fence and replace it with a 6x15 ft steel fence. Eventually received a response from a representative. Then it took another long while for the rep to look at the property, and he left a brochure at that time. I saw exactly what I wanted for my fence in that brochure. And then I didn't hear back from the rep. I reached out to the rep several times via email and text. No reply. Couple months pass, and I called the main number for the company. The lady who answered seemed genuinely confused why I had not received a response. She said she would contact my rep. And then nothing. I never heard from them again. read more

These guys are great. I highly recommend them. I met with Hector for my free estimate and he measured as we walked and talked about the issues with the existing fence and buried pipeline in the backyard. He assured it would not be an issue after he contacted the township. A representative from the pipeline would have to be present and the post holes, approximately 25 of them, would have to be dug out by hand. I felt bad for these guys, but I was told that's how they prefer to dig them. They could've scheduled me in to start in 4 or 5 days, but the gate we chose was a little fancier with the lattice on top and would have to be ordered. So, we only had to wait another week. They all showed up, about 7 guys, on time, at 7:30 am and got to work emptying their trucks, taking turns in the driveway, to stay out of the street and digging the holes. I ran out to Dunkin Donuts for some donuts and a Box o' Joe for a coffee break at 9. At around 10:30-11:00, all of the holes were dug out and about half of the fence was installed. Half of the crew left to go to another job and the remaining 3 guys finished up. When they completed around 1:30pm, the area was cleaned up and the fence was washed/wiped down. Impeccable job ! Project: PVC fence installation Louis came out TWICE to give estimates and both times was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and PUNCTUAL. Why twice? He had OFFERED to come out again when we changed the scope of work just to make sure we were completely satisfied and had the most accurate quote. The crew came as scheduled and were PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, and VERY ACCOMMODATING! We ended up adding some things onto our project day of. The entire process was smooth with someone always there to answer questions! What sets them apart was what happened at the end of the job. I MISREAD the balance and accidentally OVERPAID (don't ask me how this happened). I called Hector, explained what happened, and he REFUNDED ME THE SAME DAY! After searching the web looking for a reputable fencing company I thought I finally found one,..someone that I thought would actually show up...so after being jerked around for almost a month about coming out for an estimate the guy finally shows up, needless to say we NEVER got our estimate and the company won't return text messages, or phone calls! The installation team, led by Juan, were true fence artists who were perfectionists. They went above and beyond our expectations and did some creative things around trees. and at corners to make it look amazing. I used this company to install a fence on one side of my property. I made it clear that I wanted the new fence to match the existing fence especially since they would be meeting at the corner. When Louis came to quote me he advised he has the exact same fence better quality and it was no problem . After the fence is concreted in the ground I notice it is a foot and a half taller then my existing fence. It looks ridiculous. Also I paid them hundreds extra to remove a chain link fence and a few shrubs and they left alllll of the dirt. I was not going to say anything because my husband said it's too late and nothing can be done but the company hit me up like hey we gave you a quote would you like to move forward ... like hello you already installed my fence ... so I responded and said I was not fully satisfied etc and they basically said ... oh wow well thank you for your business Which in simple terms means ... we don't care read more

Not only did they find the fence right away but they shipped and installed it quickly. They did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations! Excellent customer service - from the first phone call to the final one ensuring we were fully pleased with all the work. Luis was great to work with - fair in pricing discussions, patient and prompt in responding to questions, and was very accessible on the day work was completed. The installation was also surprisingly painless.. the team showed up on time, work was done quickly (1 day!) but also done well. We had our entire fence replaced and upgraded in early 2016. We decided to go with Northeast Fencing because of overall positive reviews. The fence looks great! Earlier this season, our neighbor damaged a panel on our new fence. Immediately I called Luis, Northeast Fence, who was involved in the original new fence install, and after some minor scheduling mishaps, he came to my house personally and surveyed the damage and made repair recommendations. Unfortunately, the neighbor decided to wait about a month to decide whether she was going to pay for the damage, but finally came over to my house and gave me the amount to get the panel repaired. Hector, Luis and their team did an amazing job with our fence installation. This past spring we put in a in-ground pool and needed a new fence. Of all the contractors that I dealt with during this project, Luis and Hector were far and away the best. They always answer your calls and respond to texts instantly. They were very accommodating with our ever changing schedule. The quality of the work was outstanding and they beat our lowest offer by $200. Do not hire this company!! Northeast Fence in Colonia installed new doors to my wooden fence, in less than a year they've had to come back to several times to repair the brackets located in the joint of the fence. When I called the company on Monday, do to the bolts in the brackets have come apart again the owner stated that he would be out Monday or Tuesday - no show. I did not receive a call from the owner that no one was able to make it or need to reschedule. I called on Tuesday evening, I texted to find out if someone was coming, and left a voicemail. I receive no response. I called again from a different number the owner answered. Not rocket science he was deliberately ignoring my calls.He starts making excuses we are busy. Never apologized, but told me to find another company to fix the fence installed by Northeast. Please do not allow this company to mistreat the customer. I paid a significant amount of money to have my fence done. This company will take your money and never honor what they said when it needs to be fixed. HORRIBLE JOB and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

I first used North East Fencing about one year ago. They had done vinyl fencing work at the house next door. Luis Guzman the salesperson came to our home to give us an estimate. He was prompt, personable and we hired them for the job. They came out with materials and completed work to our satisfaction. Unfortunately all of the positive aspects of this company came to a halt when I called them back to do more work: Once again Luis came to our home to quote us on the additional fencing we needed. We immediately rehired North East Fencing as our prior experience was good. We gave them a 50% deposit. Our installation date was scheduled for the 29th of November. On November 21st before 8AM while I was commuting on bus, I get a text from Luis telling me that the materials will be drop shipped at my home by the manufacturer immediately. Drop ship? I was never told this. They brought the materials on their truck last time. 10 seconds later I get notified on my phone that someone is at my door. The entire pallet of material was dropped right in front of my garage door preventing me from moving my car out of garage. Bear in mind that this is Tuesday right before Thanksgiving holiday. 8 days before the scheduled installation. I was given no prior notice from North East Fencing that material was even going to be drop shipped. Once again, they brought the material for the prior job on their truck when they installed. I finally was able to depart bus and called Luis and told him point blank and curtly, "my wife's daughter just had a baby and you must get someone to my house TODAY to move material to my backyard, I cannot be without my car". Luis told me that he would handle it. Several hours later I get a scolding email from Luis telling me that they are forfeiting job, picking up material and issuing a refund of my deposit because I hurt his feelings by being rude and insensitive to him after all his company has done for me to expedite the installation! He went as far as saying I was disrespectful and tyrannical as well. It was signed "Have a happy holiday and best of luck. Thank you". REALLY? They dump their materials on my driveway with no notice, right before a major holiday, after I have given them repeat business and have the audacity to tell me I am being tyrannical for insisting they remove it immediately? Sorry guys, it does not work this way. YOU ARE CONTRACTOR. I AM REPEAT CUSTOMER. YOU MAKE MISTAKE, YOU FIX IT. How about perhaps throwing an apology in while you are at it. I encourage any prospective customer to not do business with North East Fencing. They do not know the meaning of service, integrity and the value of their customers. Total amateurs that do not know the basic tenets of doing business. Owner of North East Fencing.........go ahead and respond to this review.
