Other doctors I had in the past (with far busier offices, mind you) were understanding if I accidentally missed appointments due to health issues. I missed some with IU health and they dropped me without any warning or heads up. I was just sent a letter that said I was more or less banned from receiving health care with the IU primary physicians any longer. It wasn't like the office was busy and they needed every free minute. I've never seen more than three people there at once. When I messaged back to make sure it was a thing they did and not just some automatic IU overall thing, the response I received was extremely curt, bordering on rude. She wasn't concerned with the 2 antidepressants I been on for over half my life. She was not concerned about why I had been on. pain medication for 20 years. She was OBCESSED about an opiste crisis that doesn't exist! This so-called doctor researched me BEFORE my appointment and had already made up her mind about me before she had even seen me! instead she let me drive 20 plus miles! There is no opiate crisis. Dinosaurs such as this doctor need to be put out to pasture! She's not helping anyone. Ruan vs the US in 2022 the Supreme Court Justices reached a unanimous decision to allow doctors to prescribe pain medication to their patients. Failure to do so is considered malpractice. Pain management is a racket! Their office visits cost most insurance don't cover. IN has always been in the "dark ages" Don't see this changing ever!
