Big relief to be able to hack that philodendron - the fence company needs it two feet back and they're coming tomorrow! Shared a laugh and a wag of the head. He said "you're fine" but I gave him twenty bucks.

So after using the new machine or recently serviced machine for about 15 minutes the whole pump starts to come apart bolts coming out engine racing so I called him and he acts all surprised so he calls me bring it back I'll refund your money which sounds good except for the fact that he has my other machine that he never fixed so rather than giving back this machine that he gave me I took it to another repair shop closer to where I work long story short I'm having to Shell out $140 just to fix the one he said he recently serviced in addition to the $160 I bought the machine for... So anyone reading this review do yourself a favor and stay away from this guy he talks in circles and has no clue what he's doing

Well it was time for that first mow of the season so I took out Old Faithful,my 20 + years old…read moreHonda mower, cranked her up and started out.Everything was going fine and then I started feeling a vibration that seemed to grow but I kept going, thinking it was just the old mower being cranky. Suddenly as I was going over a root the blade hit it and stopped dead.I looked underneath and saw that the blade was now shifted at an angle and lodged tightly against the metal deck. The mower engine would still start though.I thought it strange; normally I can run over that root because it wasn't that high. I didn't think much more about that because my thoughts had shifted to getting things going again so I could finish the lawn.I packed Old Faithful into the SUV , motored over to Vinnys and after telling him what happened left, feeling good because Vinny had told me he could probably have it back to me the next day. I had also asked him to go over the mower to see if there were any other problems that it may have and give it an oil change too. When I got home I went outside to look at the root and found a bolt and washer so I called Vinny and even though he was closed he told me to bring it by.My Wife dropped it off as she was going that way. The next day Vinny called to let me know the mower was ready to pick up so l went by to get it. Vinny told me he thought that the bolt I had found on the ground had come loose which lowered the blade somewhat and that when it hit the root the now loosened blade lodged itself into some metal under the mower deck. That explained the vibration I felt and how the blade struck the root that I had always been able to mow over. He dislodged, straightened and sharpened the blade, put everything back together, changed my oil, cleaned the filters, adjusted the idle, and lubricated the cables all for what I felt was a very reasonable price, about what I had expected to pay for the tune-up only.It was as if he had thrown in the repair for free, and with a quick one day turnaround I was happy as a clam as they say up North. This is the first time I had dealt just with Vinny, as on my prior visit (see my other review if interested) I had dealt mostly with Matt, his Son. I found Vinny to be a very polite, softspoken guy just as Matt is , and I will continue to use Vinnys service when needed.

After one day, I got a text that is was ready for pickup. They identified the issue and I was on my way. Overall, the guys were professional and their store has a huge amount of equipment for sale. The store was tidy and everyone was helpful. I can definitely recommend this shop/store for any lawn equipment repairs/sales.

Little did I know that Stihl does not keep the dealers stocked on the relevant power units and bars to assemble the saws and make them available for quick pickup. Vision is also nearly impossible to get useful information out of unless you get the one single helpful person there, Todd in power tools, and I suspect others know that too because at times you may be on hold for fifteen minutes or longer waiting to talk to him. He's great, and will tell you all about saws and their options, but the rest of the folks I talked to made me feel like I was bothering them. In any case, thanks to Stihl delays, and lack of communication from the store, two weeks later I still had no chainsaw. I called and cancel and began looking for other local options to get a high end chainsaw. I lucked into finding LESS, they had numerous Husqvarna options in stock, ready to sell. The staff were incredibly helpful, showed me various options suitable for what I wanted it for, gave me an introduction about operating it, and lots of guidance. They also had a 15% off deal going which resulted in me saving several hundred dollars over Stihl for an equivalent saw. At this time, purchasing three pre-mixed oil/fuel cans results in your Husqvarna warranty being extended out to five years, which is incredible for a power tool. I was in and out quickly and it was a fantastic experience. I've since cut down numerous large hurricane-felled trees with zero issues; great saw they matched me with.
