Got scheduled quickly, Provider was thorough and explained my condition to me well. They reviewed my MRI and imaging in front of me, showing me exactly where on my spine the issues are. They even identified issues in my spine that previous providers had missed. It made all of my pain make sense. They did a test same day, and offered treatment options and created a plan right away. This was the 3rd pain management office I had been to, but the first I actually felt heard and like there was a light at the end of the tunnel with my pain. I'm actually excited for my RFA procedure, even with the pain of testing, because I feel informed about the procedure and what to expect. I was blown away by the compassionate care I received, and they respected me and my lived experiences. I did have to wait quite some time in a cramped hallway, maybe an hour or so, after the consult before the test was done. Additionally, the provider who conducted the test/procedure barely spoke to me, and he only saw the top of my butt rather than my case at all, but otherwise was fine and professional. The test itself was excruciating, but after they finished I was fine. I definitely recommend bringing a stress ball! I broke skin from digging my nails into my palm while clenching my fist. I have a high pain tolerance, but having 6 separate 4 inch needles straight into my spinal nerves is beyond even my limits. Office is wheelchair accessible and relatively easy to navigate as a manual wheelchair user, however, the exam tables were extremely high and difficult to transfer in and out of, I needed two people's assistance to transfer. read more
