The waiting area is small with a few seats but the appointments are quick so you won't be waiting long. There is plenty of parking out front or even acorss the street along the sidewalk. My kids had their regular checks up and got their vaccines up to date. They also did a vision test. When we signed up for the new school year and needed a copy of their short records the staff was quick to respond. They also call the day before your appointment as a friendly reminder. I am happy we switched over to Dr.Garcia as our primary pediatrician and look forward to our visits.

My kids have been here since they were born, my son 15 years, my daughter 17 years, and just like that, they terminated my kid's relationship with their pediatrician for an unpaid bill. No one will talk to me, no one will call me back, they ignored my appeal that I had to submit online. When I tried to send Dr. Hanson an email through my pt portal asking him if he knows what the office is doing, I received a response from someone telling me that billing followed proper procedure. They send me letters I never received, probably because we don't check the mail very often, all our bills are paid online or through the bank. I'm a pediatric nurse, my husband is a nurse practitioner, a $59.00 bill is no problem to pay. And when I did find out I had the bill, I paid it and when I called the billing office to tell them I paid it she said " oh, no, when did you pay it? Oh, you can't do that. We will have to return it to you because it went to collections. You cannot pay it" yup and the office returned the payment to my bank. Like I said, nobody will talk to me. Nobody will call me back, they don't care, and they don't care about the message that they send to my kids that they're so easily disposable. I can't even express to you how disgusted I am, so disheartening and beyond unprofessional. There is no way SWCC can justify what they did.

The direct primary care model for her practice is absolutely invaluable. We pay her the set monthly fee and in return we have access to her personally via call or text, we have long appointments with her that never feel rushed, and there is price transparency (I never have to worry about some bill showing up a month later from her or the insurance saying that we owe another $80 that no one ever discussed). I would give it 0 starts if I could. For one, no one EVER answers the phone there. It's all a voicemail process and they'll call you 2-3 days later. I experienced that myself multiple times and once experienced a frustrated father who had to drive all the way to the clinic to talk to them about something because he couldn't get a hold of anyone through the phone. The receptionists said they receive 600 calls a day and then, made fun of him when he left. This was at Drip location. If you can't handle the amount of phone calls a day, then don't take as many patients or STAFF UP! This answer is absolutely unacceptable. Now the last straw for me. My baby is very sick for 4 days now. Last night, she had a 104.5 fever, low oxygen and high heart beat. Before she got to this point, I tried calling the office when they were open to get a same day appt. Of course I left a voicemail. They never called. Took my child to the ER that day. I called again the following day, left a voicemail. Nothing. Called again one day later and tried to talk to the nurse, who was incredibly unhelpful, and who finally suggested I booked an appt in 24hrs with her doctors. Really? ... I've been trying to do that when the baby wasn't that sick, and ever since, but do they care? They didn't even create an account for her in the new system so I can't even communicate online or retrieve any info when the ER was asking me questions about past care. The pediatrician in itself does a good job but everything surrounding it is broken. How can you trust your child with a doctor practice that when we need the most, they just don't care? I will not ever go back to this place and I highly recommend you don't either. They need to start treating people like human beings instead of numbers and honor their medical oath. We had been a patient for years & suddenly got a $37 additional charge I didn't recognize, so I called. They said they would ask the dr why & call me back. They never did & a few months later I got a bill. I called & they said they sent a certified letter (which felt crazy). I never received this letter & they couldn't find my signature or any proof. They said it must have been lost. I asked why they never called or emailed like they do for everything else - they had no answer. I didn't like this situation now, it was very fishy - but went ahead and paid that $37 just to end the madness. Fast forward to this morning- my child was very ill - I called & talked to their nurse who said they needed to get in urgently - to scheduling before confirming the appointment they brought on a manager who said they decided that day I paid that $37 to allow my kids 30 more days of access & then refuse to treat us. She admitted they never told me of this 30 day deadline & that she was a recent hire & the old team left. I told her I didn't think I could even get my child into another doctor so quickly so she said she would ask if they could make an exception right then to do an appointment at this urgent time and she would call me back. She NEVER called back! This is UNBELIEVABLE, ILLEGAL & grossly IMMORAL to refuse to see a child patient (with no notice) because of a cheap clerical error that they admitted to! This left me with no option but expensive urgent care! I'm looking into taking further action now. If anybody wants to put this story in a movie or anything, I have actual proof to back it up I don't think anyone should trust them with their children or money. Even if you've been a loyal customer for years- watch out- apparently they don't care. Do not support this dishonest practice!
