My experience with Dr. Julia Ash/rheumatology Her assistant, Christine is meticulous and thoughtful about patient record integrity . These days, it's very complicated to have medical records distributed to your network of active physicians. Records that I had requested of another hospital did not make it to Westchester Medical Center/Dr. Ash on a timely basis. Christine walked me through form by form to make sure that all the teas were crossed and the I's dotted. I highly recommend Dr. Ash for her, no nonsense medical probing and expediency. The team here is managed well from appointment setting through the nursing staff who take your vitals through follow up. I would expect nothing else and nothing less of a teaching hospital. In order for me to see the doctors, I journey over an hour each way - well worth it to get the expertise and level of experience. The care you'll receive is efficient and thoughtful.

She was indignant over the fact that I would try to change my appointment. And, attempted to blame me for a mistake other office staff made of my record. Receptionist said that doctor was not available, but another podiatrist who was in my network was. That was a lie, which I only found after two visits and receiving a bill for over $600. Dealing with their billing department has been a tedious headache. Yuck. Podiatrist didn't help either.
