What an adrenaline rush! I have never been on a snowmobile and I can't wait to go again! It was the easiest thing to learn how to use and once I got the hang of it, I realized 2 hours wasn't nearly enough time. I initially ended up booking a double snowmobile guided tour but wasn't able to get a guide for the trails. The staff were friendly and sent an email out a week before the trip to let us know of the inconvenience, but am happy that we were able to venture off on our own. I will definitely go again and for a longer duration!! The snowmobiles were in immaculate condition, so beautiful! The seats AND the handles for the passenger were headed which was and added plus! It was nice to be away from people and selfishly enjoy Mother Nature and her beauty!! There is so much openness and wilderness to explore its breathtaking. We went UTVing at Jericho State Park and had a fantastic time. The park offers flat trails, fun muddy spots where we got messy, and some technical routes to challenge us. Holts Revenge was definitely our favorite trail, and the Waterfall Trail was also a highlight. Some trails were off-limits for various reasons, but there was still plenty to explore. I highly recommend visiting. Don't forget to bring goggles or glasses (they're required), along with closed-toe shoes. read more

*Note: I scheduled this for my daughter's 9th birthday with my husband and her uncles! I am pregnant and could not ride along! Super easy to book. Called, asked a few questions, scheduled an appointment and booked! The day of we arrived, filled out a waiver before entering the building via ipads set up outside. It's COVID times so we had to wait to go into the building but an employee was there to manage that. Went in, checked in, watched a video. To be honest I was surprised the video wasn't more about patron safety but more about don't break the vehicles! Tried on helmets, exited through the rear door where we were greeted by an employee who set everyone up with their vehicles. They were given a map and then they hit the road! (Literally!) You drive right out on the road to head to their trails. 2 hours later- they came back. They were extremely chatty and extremely dirty! They were amped on adrenaline. They had a great time. They reported they only passed one other group on the trails so it was open for them. They stopped and took one photo of a waterfall (they're guys- I was happy I got the one photo!) My daughter loved it! A few tips for parents: Pack sunglasses and a neck guard because even on sunny days- the dirt is flying around! I can also share, I checked in on site and immediately received a Yelp coupon to complete 2 hrs for $99! What a deal. we would have saved a good amount of money but overall... worth it! read more

I'm very happy with my utv rental from Northeast. All employees were extremely helpful and very friendly. The young kids at the pickup spot were very good at mapping out a good ride and actually holding a conversation (which sadly is almost unheard of these days. ) Machines were in excellent condition and the trails are great. I would recommend doing the 4 hour trip if you haven't done it before. We didn't use a guide but after a little driving and looking at the map we were able to find everything. AAAA+++ all around. My only suggestion would be to bring your own helmet if you had one. Not a big deal at all if you didn't have one though. read more

Our experience at Northeast Snowmobile & ATV was awesome. Our family of four rented a pair of side-by-side ATV's, and we had a blast. The trail location was great, and the scenery was beautiful. The folks at the shop were super friendly and helpful. We went in the middle of the week (in the early afternoon), so the trails weren't super busy. Even though it was the summer, we still managed to find a couple mud puddles. We only rented for 2 hours. If you can afford it, I highly recommend a 4 hour rental, so you can get through more of the map. It was still a great outing regardless. read more

I really did enjoy my experience on the trails and in a new Polaris Rzr 1000. Having a new side by side was a real plus for me. These things have so much power, it's unreal! If you are seeking an adrenaline rush, these machines more than deliver. The damage waiver is a bit of a scam. They give you an option to pay $25 for each machine you rent to reduce your liability in the event of damage. This $25 reduces your liability to $1500 for each machine. I just got a lot of bad vibes when speaking about this with the front desk. Let's just say that a tire blows out. Of course you would be liable, even though it's common. Are you in for the entire $1500 or just the tire? I wish this was explained. Not opting for the $25 damage waiver makes you liable for $4500 worth of damage per machine. I did not opt for the damage waiver because I view it as a losing scenario either way. It's a money grab, and if you exercise caution and control, treat the machines with respect, you'll be fine. The trail was mostly flat all the way up to Berlin, which was kind of a bummer. I had a desire for more intense terrain. We did have time to see Cascade Falls this in Gorham but there's only so much you can do with two hours and a party of four. I had a more exciting experience climbing Mt. Killington in Vermont with a Polaris RZR in 2016. I would recommend renting one of their side by sides as they are brand new and have amazing performance. I learned that this business purchases new machines every year for each season. I'm ready to return in Winter 2021 to try their new snowmobiles! read more

I meant to write this months ago when we went.. but, I'll do the best I can! Starters: this adventure is 100% my 80 year old grandmothers idea. She LOVES adventure and trying new things. So; we found Northeast online, called and made reservations and went up the following week. The only con is: it's kinda pricey! And, the deposit is high, I totally get it; but for some people the deposit isn't exactly doable. (Thankful Grams tossed down her Bean card for this adventure) We were able to cruise around for a few hours and happened to get great weather.. it was a weekday so the trails were pretty empty, too! We did get slightly lost because the trails aren't marked great and our gps was acting up, but luckily the town of Gorham is very atv friendly so we just took the street route to get back on track! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Such a cool place! These guys have everything you need! You can rent an ATV for 4 hours and enjoy the view around. On a trail, they have an amazing view of the National Park and a lake. The best thing about this place is that you can bring your dog with you! You have to be prepared that you will be covered in dirt. As well as, after the 3rd hour you start to feel tired. The reservation was easy and the staff super helpful. Got my confirmation email moment s later. Now the bad news. I had a recent injury that would make me have to cancel my off road adventures. A quick phone call a few days before my scheduled time and they without pause or without explanation from me said no problem. We will refund that right away. They are just awesome. Rented 3 Polaris RZR 1000s for 3 hours. Everything went very smooth from reservation, to preparation, to the actual ride. The pricing seemed reasonable, but I agree that the deposit requirement is a bit steep. Given I was renting 3 RZRs, I had to pay the $25 per unit insurance in order to reduce the deposit requirement to one I could handle. My only complaint was not with them, but rather with the trails as the primary entrance was closed-- and 3 hours didn't allow for more of the "off road" trail experience. read more

Treacherous terrain this time of year. Not a beginners snowmobile ride. Unrecognizable path upon my return. The snowmobiles could barely handle the Icy hill on pipeline so we were stuck and had to call for help. Got lost. Machines were great quality. Staff was very nice. We rented the machines for 3 hours and the trails were amazing, the snowmobiled were are in great shape, and the store attendants were very nice and helpful! I would definitely recommend it. Just make sure to bundle up on cold days. We had a blast through, the trails in the woods were really fun and you get the opportunity to ride fast at times as well as take some challenging curves! These ATVs are fun! We did a self-guided 2 hour tour and had a blast. Even the pouring rain didn't get us down (and you will still be able to go out in these conditions). The ATVs seem to be in good, working order and seem well-maintained, too. I gave 4/5 stars because I felt that there was too much focus on potential damage to the vehicle and how much it could cost you, the consumer, and less focus on getting acquainted with the vehicle, how to use it properly, and safety measures on trails. Specifically, I did not plan to pay for the $25 "damage waiver" (which I think should be called a "limited liability waiver" instead - because you are still obligated to pay up to $1500 in damages even WITH the waiver), but opted to at the front desk due to the attitudes of the staff (for example, scaring consumers by saying there was a recent accident with $16,000 worth of damage - but not mentioning how it happened). I do find that the waiver is not worth it - most of the "common" damage that can happen to the ATVs is less than $1500, and you would be obligated to pay it even with the waiver. After signing forms at the front desk, you are brought to watch a "safety video." I do wish the video focused more on safety and operation of the vehicle. It does touch on these subjects, but the MAJORITY of the video is, once again, how you might damage the machine and how much it might cost. Further, the room where you watch the video has quite a few signs/flyers with information on recent accidents, damage, and how much it cost the consumer. Once all of this work is complete, you drive to their lot where you can pick up your ATV. Here, we were given a trail map and more information about how much damage we might do to the ATVs and all the fines we might incur if we don't follow signage. (I will say, the information about the signs on the trails was new and helpful at this point, but was still given in a way that came off as disingenuous.) I was hopeful that someone would explain, at this point, how to operate the ATV and what the controls did. While this was mentioned in the video, we also expected some hands-on quick familiarization with staff. This did not occur. On the trail, we felt confident behind the wheel, but did NOT feel confident knowing when to be in Hi vs Lo, 2WD vs AWD, etc. We also had no idea that the screen had an on-board GPS that we could use for guidance because we were not told, and were left trying to read a soaking wet map by the end of the trip. Overall, a little less focus on how customers might lose their money and a little more focus on operation of the vehicles would be appreciated. read more

I'm not usually one for renting sleds, but since we just moved I didn't have my sled and my buddy was up for the weekend. These guys were cool and made things fun. The mass amount of new riders and tourists all riding around the surrounding area is definitely a hazard, but these guys handle it well. We blew a belt while riding, but they changed it right away and allowed us to ride a little longer. I definitely recommend renting here for those who are new to the area or new to the sport. read more

These guys are awesome!! The staff is very attentive and the sleds are in great shape. Direct access to the trails and they give you maps and a gps tracking device just in case. They have clothing rentals too. We had a group of 7 and they got us suited up and on the trail very quickly. This was my first time snowmobiling and I had a great time. It was a spur of the moment decision to go out for the day... it was a great decision. Everything about the day with Northeast was fun. We had to watch the safety video before going out, we could have watched it twice, hysterical and to the point. The maps were clear and the trails well marked. The scenery was just beautiful. The only down side was the timing..we went out for 2 hours. We started counting our 2 hours when we were given the keys in the parking lot to go out. They started counting 2 hours when we paid and before we watched the 20 minute safety video... however there were not additional charges. A great way to spend a beautiful Saturday. This was one of the worst experiences we have faced. We were on a 3 week tour of the East Coast and thought this would be a fun way to see New Hampshire. We were given a map by and employee with no indication that a trail called Rene's Maze was completely dangerous. We happened to veer off on this trail and we were very lucky to even get out. Please see attached pictures. To make matters worse we were informed that we would have to pay for the damage done to the ATV, when I asked for a manager to call me back about this I was hung up on twice and then told that I would be charged a higher amount because my attitude. Definitely not recommend this company and I believe their management needs some training. read more

We drove about an hour and a half to Mount Washington and it appeared to be raining on the mountain so we needed to find something else to do. We thought renting a motorcycle would be a fun day activity. We checked the prices before arriving and expected to pay about $250 for two hours. When we arrived, we were told that the prices were just lowered. We ended up paying about $250 for four hours. We rented a slingshot, which is a vehicle low to the ground with 3 wheels. It drives very fast and on the road. Overall, I would recommend coming here for your rental needs. It was very easy to rent the bike and fill out the necessary paperwork.
