I explained that due to an oversight my husband had not ordered flowers for his mother's funeral the next morning. Terry was extremely helpful. She called othernflori in the funeral home area then called to say that since no one would do it, she would. I gave her the details, but got the wrong time. I thought it was at 11:00. As soon as I got out of the visitation that evening there was a message from Terry. She had checked the time and corrected me. It was 10:00. She went in early, made up a lovely arrangement so I could pick them up by 8:30 am. They will certainly be the florist I use in future!

I haven't checked out the nursery in-person yet since they are so up north. However, I was able to buy online and pick up when they came down to the Toronto Flower Market recently. If you missed that opportunity, they also offer delivery via Plantrunz for about $25. Now I have a ton of houseplants but 0 cacti. I'm not much of a cactus fan but I've made an exception for one boobie cactus. This cheeky plant has been on my wishlist for some time. It was more than I was willing to pay to import. If you don't mind growing it small, it's only $35 here. I also picked up a hoya, Pinguicula (carnivorous plant), and, while I was there at the market also a fuzzy tradescantia variegata. Note most of the plants seem to be outgrowing its pot so you likely need to repot soon. Other plant accessories I purchased include hard-to-find sphagnum moss, their version of chunkier pon (medium for plants), clear orchid pots and hoya plastic wire trellises. Happy and excited about my purchases. Customer service is excellent; they were flexible to change my shipping option. Make sure to have all purchases in one order because if you add on later it's a $5 fee.
