I first happened upon Bern's when I inadvertently forgot my wife's birthday. A rushed visit first thing in the morning was no problem for the lovely Sharon who rustled up a fantastic arrangement for me in no time and at a very reasonable price. It was a beautiful display that would bring a tear to the eye of any deserving wife. Unfortunately it didn't help my marriage and I was divorced soon after, but the personal and friendly service means that this is my number one choice for flowers in Alliston. The shop is as a flower shop should be, a busy looking storefront, the inside seemingly full to bursting with fresh smells and colour, the clientele from all walks of Allistonian life, many of them return customers like me, who desperately is trying not to forget my current belle's birthday. I just don't understand where the negative reviews are coming from. Maybe things once weren't as good as they are now. I have had only 1 recent experience with Bern's, and it was 100% excellent. I wanted a custom Valentine's Day rose arrangement to cement a tentative relationship. I'm a local walk-in customer. The staff was nothing but cheerful, friendly and helpful. Valentine's Day pricing is stupid anywhere. I thought Bern's was competitive and reasonable, in that context. I went in the next day to change the delivery details, and dealt with two different staff members who bent over backwards to make sure the details were right, and we had a bit of fun. The flower arrangement was gorgeous, just as I hoped, and delivered right on time, within a 2-hour window.
